福州西湖國(guó)際學(xué)校云課堂一周風(fēng)采速報(bào)！

自本周起，福州西湖國(guó)際學(xué)校云課堂開啟大幕。假期過于漫長(zhǎng)，一朝進(jìn)入學(xué)習(xí)狀態(tài)，F(xiàn)LIS學(xué)子也迸發(fā)了別樣的熱情，紛紛自覺加入云課堂，積極與同學(xué)、教師互動(dòng)。
The first week of our online program is almost finished and what a week it has been! The students have been so happy to get back to learning and to have interactions with their classmates and teachers.
幼兒部：互動(dòng)為主，足不出戶享受高品質(zhì)國(guó)際化課堂
幼兒部的云課堂提供了創(chuàng)意十足的多領(lǐng)域適齡性活動(dòng)，為家長(zhǎng)們分憂解難，讓孩子足不出戶也能享受到原汁原味的國(guó)際化課堂。FLIS教師別出心裁地將居家的元素融入活動(dòng)環(huán)節(jié)，以云課堂為平臺(tái)，將探索與學(xué)習(xí)延伸到幼兒的生活之中，提升幼兒發(fā)現(xiàn)問題、解決問題的自主學(xué)習(xí)能力。希望在這個(gè)特殊時(shí)期，我們?nèi)阅転槊恳晃挥變?，打開探索世界、共同學(xué)習(xí)，精彩成長(zhǎng)的窗口。
The ECE online program provided multiple creative areas of age-appropriate activities, which let students enjoy the authentic international class without leaving home. FLIS teachers integrated elements of “staying-at-home” into the activities. In using the online program as a platform; we also extended the exploration and learning into students’ lives, so as to improve their independent learning skills in finding and solving problems. FLIS hopes we can still open a window for every child to explore the world, learn together and grow up healthily during this special period.
小學(xué)部：錄播為主，定點(diǎn)答疑為輔，多樣化選修豐富學(xué)子生活
小學(xué)部云課堂以錄播+定點(diǎn)在線答疑形式呈現(xiàn)，我們?cè)O(shè)置了四門必修主科（數(shù)學(xué)/社會(huì)科學(xué)/英語(yǔ)/科學(xué)），英文水平待強(qiáng)化的學(xué)生會(huì)繼續(xù)參加線上直播的pullout課程，以此增加孩子們開口念英語(yǔ)的機(jī)會(huì)。選修的副科課程則可以豐富學(xué)生們的假期生活、鍛煉身體及拓展知識(shí)面。
The primary online program was composed of selected recorded courses and live interactive Q&A courses. We have set up four compulsory subjects (Math, Social Studies/Science and English). Students who need to improve their English proficiency will continue to participate in the live pullout courses to meet their educational needs. We also offer elective courses to enrich students' lives, provide the opportunity to exercise and expand their knowledge.
科技賦予教育新的意義。即便沒有拍攝和剪輯的經(jīng)驗(yàn)，教師的創(chuàng)意與用心，也能克服空間、地域與資源的限制，為大家?guī)韮?yōu)質(zhì)、趣味的新式教育體驗(yàn)。由學(xué)生、家長(zhǎng)的各種反饋來看，F(xiàn)LIS學(xué)子對(duì)云課堂這一新興教學(xué)方式適應(yīng)良好，重新見到久未謀面的同學(xué)、教師，雖僅僅只是線上，也讓不少學(xué)生大受鼓舞，漸漸找回了學(xué)習(xí)的感覺。我們也欣慰地從不少家長(zhǎng)處得知，孩子們快速適應(yīng)了云課堂的節(jié)奏，主動(dòng)完成布置的任務(wù)……如今的成果離不開教師的辛勤耕耘與家長(zhǎng)、學(xué)子的積極反饋。值此特殊時(shí)期，感謝大家的理解與耐心！
Technology gives new meaning to education. Although many teachers didn't have experience of video-editing, their creativity and efforts can overcome the limitations of space, region, and resources, bring the new educational experience of high quality and interest to students. It is clear to us that the students are enjoying themselves and adapting well to this new learning environment. We are also pleased to learn from many parents that students took the initiative to complete the assigned tasks...The success to date is down to the fantastic work being done by teachers and your valuable feedback. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this unusual period.
中學(xué)部：直播為主，深入探討各科知識(shí)，為學(xué)子學(xué)業(yè)保駕護(hù)航
中學(xué)云課堂則以直播為主，學(xué)生們可以盡情像以往一樣享受課堂的樂趣，與在線教師深入探討各科議題，直播效果與現(xiàn)實(shí)課堂無異。下午第二節(jié)課基本都是教師在線答疑時(shí)間，課后輔導(dǎo)幫助學(xué)生鞏固消化當(dāng)天的知識(shí)。學(xué)生有問題也可隨時(shí)給教師留言，教師會(huì)在第一時(shí)間為學(xué)生解答，為大家疫情期間的學(xué)習(xí)保駕護(hù)航。
? ? Most of the Secondary online program was composed of live interactive courses. Students can enjoy the fun of the class as before and have in-depth discussions with online teachers on various subjects. The effect of the live broadcast was the same as that of real class. The second class in the afternoon was online Q&A time where FLIS teachers will help students consolidate and digest the knowledge they learned that day. We make sure there is constant open communication with parents and students. We will strive to resolve any issues that may arise during this time.?
同樣非常重要的一點(diǎn)是，考慮到國(guó)外同學(xué)的時(shí)差和溝通，F(xiàn)LIS提供了允許學(xué)生獨(dú)立訪問的資源。這確保了所有的學(xué)生無論在什么情況下都能接觸到課堂材料。
Also very important are the teacher made resources that allow students to access the content independently. Considering different time zones and communication problems this ensures that all students can access the material no matter the situation.
教師們也不失時(shí)機(jī)將當(dāng)下重要議題嵌入云課堂直播中。本周美術(shù)課主題為“淺談藝術(shù)，及藝術(shù)與其他學(xué)科的關(guān)系”。老師拋磚引玉，從科學(xué)和藝術(shù)的關(guān)聯(lián)講到如今的疫情病毒，鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生們發(fā)揮自己的想象力來畫出他們眼中的病毒；在中文云課堂里，學(xué)生們已經(jīng)開始積極準(zhǔn)備中文演講比賽的講稿，就有學(xué)生以“新型冠狀病毒”為題進(jìn)行創(chuàng)作……
? ? Teachers embed the present issue in our online program. The theme of this week's art class is "on art, and the relationship between art and other subjects". FLIS teacher introduced the link between science and art to the current epidemic and encouraged the students to use their imagination to draw the virus. In Mandarin online class, students have been actively preparing for the Mandarin speech contest, some of them written the draft on the topic of COVID-19...
目前開學(xué)時(shí)間尚未確定，F(xiàn)LIS將繼續(xù)根據(jù)現(xiàn)實(shí)情況調(diào)整教學(xué)，在云課堂上為學(xué)子帶來一如既往的高質(zhì)量教育。本周是一個(gè)好的開始，在此基礎(chǔ)之上，我們也將再接再厲，達(dá)成每個(gè)學(xué)生的教育需求。感謝各位家長(zhǎng)始終如一的支持與對(duì)特殊時(shí)期的理解。正是家校雙方無與倫比的尊敬與信任讓FLIS大家庭顯得如此特別。我們熱切期盼學(xué)生重回校園、一切恢復(fù)如常的那一天。在此之前，我們一起加油！

As there is still no official date for resumption of normal in-school classes we, at F.L.I.S., will continue to make adjustments and improvements on a department and grade by grade to our approach to online education. We will build on this great start and make it a resounding success that meets the educational needs of each student. Thank you so much for your loyal support and understanding in this time of transition. It is the incredible respect and trust between parents and school that makes our F.L.I.S. family so special. We are eagerly awaiting welcoming our students back to campus and being able to resume normal classes with a return to normal instruction. Until then, dajia jiayou!
