2021年澳大利亞信息數(shù)學(xué)競(jìng)賽CAT
在5月9日舉行的2021年CAT澳大利亞信息數(shù)學(xué)競(jìng)賽中,我校50名學(xué)生與來(lái)自全球不同國(guó)家的數(shù)學(xué)及編程愛(ài)好者共同競(jìng)技。比賽前,數(shù)學(xué)輔導(dǎo)組老師們充分利用時(shí)間為學(xué)生進(jìn)行輔導(dǎo),并利用各種即時(shí)通訊工具為學(xué)生答疑,做到全程輔導(dǎo),實(shí)時(shí)輔導(dǎo)。同學(xué)們也認(rèn)真努力地做好了充分的賽前準(zhǔn)備。在這次激烈的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)中,同學(xué)們懷著對(duì)信息數(shù)學(xué)的熱愛(ài),不僅不畏難題,勇敢挑戰(zhàn),而且鍛煉了自己的邏輯思維能力。最終,寧波華茂國(guó)際學(xué)校學(xué)生成功斬獲6個(gè)全球二等獎(jiǎng)!20個(gè)全球三等獎(jiǎng)!恭喜我校的信息數(shù)學(xué)達(dá)人們!

澳大利亞信息數(shù)學(xué)思維挑戰(zhàn)活動(dòng)由澳大利亞數(shù)學(xué)聯(lián)合會(huì) (AMT) 主辦,旨在發(fā)掘?qū)W生的計(jì)算機(jī)編程潛力,專注于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的邏輯思維,適合學(xué)習(xí)任何數(shù)學(xué)課程的學(xué)生。此思維挑戰(zhàn)活動(dòng)采用獨(dú)特的“三段法”,題型由易到難,學(xué)生需要在一小時(shí)內(nèi)解決 9 道題目。需要注意的是,CAT 不是計(jì)算機(jī)編程思維挑戰(zhàn)活動(dòng),側(cè)重于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的計(jì)算能力和算法思維,不需要學(xué)生掌握任何計(jì)算機(jī)編程知識(shí)或編程語(yǔ)言。
ASDAN線上模擬商業(yè)競(jìng)賽
在5月份進(jìn)行的ASDAN線上商業(yè)模擬競(jìng)賽中,我校DP兩支隊(duì)伍(Team 1: 陳景山、褚恕、謝凝、王佳越;Team 2: 繆昊、陳?ài)呔S、陳宏錦、解禹誠(chéng))經(jīng)過(guò)與全國(guó)眾多國(guó)際學(xué)校和重點(diǎn)中學(xué)學(xué)生的各環(huán)節(jié)激烈比拼,成功斬獲了1銀獎(jiǎng)(Team 1),1銅獎(jiǎng)(Team 2)以及最佳融資路演獎(jiǎng)和最佳產(chǎn)品設(shè)計(jì)獎(jiǎng)這兩個(gè)單項(xiàng)獎(jiǎng)(Team 1)!并且所有隊(duì)員收獲了ASDAN英國(guó)青年企業(yè)家證書獎(jiǎng),同時(shí)成功晉級(jí)2021年ASDAN全球經(jīng)濟(jì)論壇!祝賀我們未來(lái)的商業(yè)精英們!
ASDAN模擬商賽是以專業(yè)的模擬商戰(zhàn)IT系統(tǒng)為基礎(chǔ),完全仿真還原市場(chǎng)和公司運(yùn)營(yíng)的真實(shí)環(huán)境與決策過(guò)程,以凈資產(chǎn)多少?zèng)Q定勝負(fù)。線上賽以3-4人組隊(duì)參加,通過(guò)數(shù)輪財(cái)務(wù)、生產(chǎn)、銷售運(yùn)營(yíng)決策,路演以及商業(yè)競(jìng)答角逐出各類獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。各公司擁有同等的啟動(dòng)資金生產(chǎn)相同類型的產(chǎn)品,公司需要采取不同的策略,實(shí)現(xiàn)更多的盈利。在運(yùn)營(yíng)決策的同時(shí),團(tuán)隊(duì)需要完成公司路演。此外,參賽代表還將根據(jù)學(xué)習(xí)的商業(yè)基本知識(shí)、相關(guān)政策與成功商業(yè)品牌案例分析等參與商業(yè)競(jìng)答。
2021年加拿大滑鐵盧牛頓物理競(jìng)賽SIN
在5月份舉行的2021年加拿大滑鐵盧牛頓物理競(jìng)賽中,我校DP兩位同學(xué)金泰臨和梁哲豪通過(guò)在線考試的形式與全國(guó)眾多學(xué)生同時(shí)參賽。盡管是第一次參加這個(gè)競(jìng)賽,但他們無(wú)懼挑戰(zhàn),榮獲了中國(guó)賽區(qū)優(yōu)秀獎(jiǎng),排名華東賽區(qū)前20%!
加拿大滑鐵盧牛頓物理競(jìng)賽(SIN)誕生于1969年,由世界名校滑鐵盧大學(xué)物理系主辦,旨在激發(fā)高中生對(duì)物理的興趣。加拿大滑鐵盧大學(xué)創(chuàng)建于1957年, 是一所以研究為主的公立大學(xué),以學(xué)習(xí)與實(shí)踐并重的合作教育而聞名。2011年到2013年,該校一直穩(wěn)居麥克林雜志評(píng)選的加拿大綜合性大學(xué)排名的第三位,是北美地區(qū)最優(yōu)大學(xué)之一。每年加拿大有300所高中的近2500 名學(xué)生參加SIN,是加拿大極具影響力和挑戰(zhàn)性的高中物理競(jìng)賽??荚囶}型新穎,與當(dāng)下時(shí)事相結(jié)合,趣味性強(qiáng),富有挑戰(zhàn)性。

2021 Computational and Algorithmic Thinking
In the CAT competition on May 9th, our 50 students competed with lots of math and programming enthusiasts from all over the world. Before the competition, under the dedicated tutoring from our lovely math tutoring team, our contestants worked hard to make full preparation. In this fierce competition, with the enthusiasm for mathematics and informatics, the students were courageous to challenge. Meanwhile, the competition exercised their logical thinking ability. Our students successfully won 6 Global Distinction Awards and 20 Global Credit Awards! Congratulations to our excellent contestants!

The Computational and Algorithmic Thinking (CAT) competition was held by Australian Mathematics Trust, a national non -profi­t organization whose purpose is to enrich the teaching and learning of mathematics for students of all standards. It focuses on the skills behind computer programming and algorithm design, but does not require any specific knowledge of programming or programming languages. There are 9 questions to be completed in one hour.
ASDAN Business Simulation
In the ASDAN Business Simulation online in May, our two DP teams (Team 1: Colin Chen, Michael Chu, Hebe Xie, Claire Wang; Team 2: Oscar Miao, Kiwi Chen, Tristan Chen, Jason Xie) successfully won 1 Silver Award (Team 1), 1 Bronze Award (Team 2) and two Single Awards named Fantastic Pitch Deck and Brand Award from Team 1! Meanwhile, all the team members won ASDAN UK Enterprise Award and the two teams both qualified to ASDAN WYEF! Congratulations to our future business elites!
ASDAN Business Simulation is set in a virtual market place in which students can establish and manage their own company. The overall winning team is calculated based on pro­fits. In the online competition, three to four students form a team and work together to complete Operation Rounds, Roadshow and Business Q&A.
2021 Sir Isaac Newton Exam
In 2021 Sir Isaac Newton Exam (SIN) in May, our two DP students Owen Jin and Martin Liang competed online with quite many students throughout China. Although it was their first time to participate in, they were not afraid of the challenge and won Regional Honorable awards, ranking them regional top 20%!
The Sir Isaac Newton (SIN) exam, born in 1969, is a test of high school physics and is offered by the Department of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Waterloo to encourage the teaching of physics. The University of Waterloo, founded in 1957, is consistently ranked Canada's most innovative university. From 2011 to 2013, the university was consistently ranked third in the overall Canadian university rankings by McLean magazine as one of the best universities in North America. SIN is one of the most in­fluential physics contests for high school students in Canada. The exam, although challenging, is meant to be refreshing and fun.
NBHIS has always been committed to encouraging all students to learn and think through various kinds of competitions, and to make persistent and unremitting efforts to cultivate their disciplinary thinking and improve their learning abilities. Through these competitions, we have seen the redoubled efforts and persistence of all the competitors.
