本周二,北京世青國際學(xué)校初中部和小學(xué)部K班師生開展了本學(xué)期的最后一次校外活動。同一天,他們分別前往香山紅色教育基地——香山公園和香山革命紀(jì)念館完成作品周并接受愛國主義教育,另一隊(duì)則來到了位于順義區(qū)的葡萄瓦舍農(nóng)場體驗(yàn)種植和采摘的快樂。
On Tuesday of this week, the teachers and students of K Class carried out their last off-campus trip of the year to Grape Farm in Shunyi District. On the same day the Middle School also went to the Xiangshan Revolution Memorial Hall as part of their patriotic education.

香山公園
香山公園融自然、歷史、人文景觀于一體,是一座歷史悠久、獨(dú)具山林特色的皇家園林。學(xué)生從這里豐富的自然和人文環(huán)境中汲取靈感,結(jié)合生物科學(xué)、中文詩歌、英文文學(xué)、攝影創(chuàng)作、歷史人文等多個學(xué)習(xí)主題,為自己的作品周成果收集材料。通過完成這項(xiàng)作業(yè),學(xué)生不僅能收獲學(xué)習(xí)技能,也在團(tuán)隊(duì)協(xié)作、批判性思維、時間管理、情感溝通等方面得到成長和發(fā)展。
In Xiangshan Park you will find a unique forest-mountain landscape, with a rich historical and cultural background. During this trip, students drew inspiration from the natural surroundings to work on biological, poetic, photographic and historic projects. Completing these assignments, students developed their teamwork, critical-thinking, time management and communication skills.

從東門進(jìn)入園區(qū),首先映入眼簾的是勤政殿——這里曾為清朝皇帝接見王宮大臣的場所。歷史人文組的幾位同學(xué)對這個大殿十分好奇,一邊研究它的由來,一邊用相機(jī)拍下殿內(nèi)陳設(shè),為之后制作紀(jì)錄片積累素材。從右側(cè)的緩坡繼續(xù)向前,不遠(yuǎn)處就是乾隆皇帝治國理政的重要場所——致遠(yuǎn)齋。其名取自“非淡泊無以明志,非寧靜無以致遠(yuǎn)”。漫步在四方的走廊,中文詩歌組的學(xué)生正在這里研究經(jīng)典古詩詞,準(zhǔn)備賦詩一首。
Entering from the East gate, the first building you encounter is the Palace of Qinzheng, where Qing Dynasty emperors met with their ministers. Several students working on history projects spent their time learning about the origins of this hall, taking pictures of the furnishings to produce their own documentaries afterwards. Continuing along the gentle slope to the side is Zhiyuanzhai, a place of great importance for the Qianlong Emperor to govern the country. The name is derived from a line of poetry, ‘One requires tranquility to reach one's far-reaching goal’. In these corridors, students working on poetry drew inspiration from the historical and cultural significance of this space.

位于佳日園的花壇,主題為春耕犁田。不同色彩的花卉色帶營造出片片花田,用廢棄樹枝堆砌而成的“耕?!庇巫咴诨ㄌ镏?,展示了農(nóng)耕忙碌的景象??茖W(xué)組的同學(xué)在這里仔細(xì)地研究各種花卉和樹葉,希望以圖文并茂的形式完成自己的科學(xué)報告。當(dāng)體育組的師生向香爐峰發(fā)起挑戰(zhàn)時,藝術(shù)組的成員則選擇在山間亭下休憩,于青山綠水之畔揮筆作畫,好不自在。
Students working on science projects spent their time in the Jiari Gardens, learning about farming and plant biology. Afterwards they put their learnings together into scientific reports. Students in the PE group conquered the Xianglufeng mountain, whilst the art great stayed in the shade under the mountain pavilion painting the nearby mountains and waters in their beauty.

香山革命紀(jì)念館
下午,學(xué)生從香山公園步行前往香山革命紀(jì)念館參觀。
在展覽區(qū),他們觀看一張張手稿、一幅幅照片,在思考中追尋中國歷史的脈絡(luò),感受中國人民英勇頑強(qiáng)的精神面貌。這場展覽猶如一場時光穿梭之旅,為學(xué)生展示了新中國成立之初與今日的對比,中國的發(fā)展成就歷歷可見。通過這次參觀,我們期望培育學(xué)生的民族情懷,把紅色文化貫穿研學(xué)實(shí)踐全過程,實(shí)現(xiàn)學(xué)校小課堂與社會大課堂的同頻共振。
In the afternoon, students walked down from the park to visit the Xiangshan Revolution Memorial Hall.
In the exhibition area, they saw letters and photos as they learned about the early history of ‘New China’, and comparisons and contrasts with China today. Through this visit, we hope to support students’ patriotism as they learn their place in history, and their context as a part of a national movement that is much larger than themselves.

葡萄瓦舍
同一天,世青K班學(xué)生在葡萄瓦舍度過了充實(shí)而有意義的一天。在農(nóng)場老師的帶領(lǐng)下,學(xué)生體驗(yàn)了蕓豆和花生的種植過程,還采摘了如蘿卜、西紅柿、土豆、黃瓜、桃子和辣椒等綠色蔬果。
Whilst the Middle School were at Xiangshan, our K Class students had a fulfilling time at Grape Farm in Shunyi. Under the knowledgeable leadership of the farm-workers, students enjoyed harvesting their own potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, radishes, peaches and peppers.

在學(xué)習(xí)種植的環(huán)節(jié),孩子們觀摩了如何翻土、播種和澆水。而采摘時,他們一邊享受豐收的樂趣,一邊學(xué)著辨別各種蔬菜和水果的種類。最后,每個同學(xué)都把一盒健康綠色、親手采摘的瓜果帶回了家。
Along with the harvesting work, students learned about planting and irrigation, different parts of a plant, and how to distinguish different plants from each other. At the end of the day, everyone took home their own box full of hand-picked fruits and vegetables.
