親愛的同學(xué)們，老師們，下午好。經(jīng)歷了漫長的暑假，我已經(jīng)迫不及待的想要回到美麗的學(xué)校繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)了。首先歡迎新同學(xué)們加入宏潤博源的大家庭，希望大家都能在享受宏潤博源的校園生活的同時(shí)，積極維護(hù)校容校貌。

在這里，我想先給新同學(xué)們提出一點(diǎn)建議，希望能夠有所幫助。

與你們一樣，一年前的我也是一個(gè)懵懵懂懂的新生，努力適應(yīng)著新學(xué)校的生活。繁雜的選課選項(xiàng)，英文為主的授課方式等變化給我?guī)砹撕艽蟮睦_，但在與和藹可親的老師們進(jìn)行了一次次的談話后，我逐漸適應(yīng)了新校園的生活。如果你們對于新校園的生活有所疑問，求助老師無疑是很有效的解決方式。

不知是否有害羞的同學(xué)不太愿意上臺展示自己。原先的我也是如此，對于學(xué)校上臺表演的活動不太感興趣。但當(dāng)我在老師的鼓勵(lì)下第一次踏上舞臺時(shí)，我的心態(tài)發(fā)生了轉(zhuǎn)變，開始熱衷于上臺表演。我第一次在舞臺上吹響了單簧管，第一次在禮堂里朗誦詩篇，第一次在臺上與同學(xué)們共舞。這些都是對于以前的我的巨大進(jìn)步，也是對于現(xiàn)在的我的珍貴回憶。

學(xué)校擁有繁多的活動，詩詞朗誦比賽、英語演講比賽、英語辯論比賽等活動給予了大家豐富的機(jī)會去展示自己的語言水平，培養(yǎng)大家的自信心。除了這些偏學(xué)術(shù)類的活動，娛樂類型活動一樣不少。近在咫尺的便是12月份的藝術(shù)節(jié)，有藝術(shù)方面特長的同學(xué)們可以準(zhǔn)備在這個(gè)活動中大顯身手了。去年的藝術(shù)節(jié)已經(jīng)令人大飽眼福，相信有著新鮮血液的這屆藝術(shù)節(jié)一定能更上 一層樓。希望新生們能夠踴躍參與各項(xiàng)活動，并樂在其中。

其次，我也有些話想帶給對于校園已經(jīng)十分熟悉的老同學(xué)們。

相信大家在暑假中肯定都各有收獲，隨著新學(xué)期的到來，我們都有新的壓力：十年級學(xué)生面臨托?？荚?，十一年級學(xué)長有ACT與SAT考試的壓力，十二年級學(xué)長已經(jīng)進(jìn)入了申請季。但是請相信，努力是有回報(bào)的，祝愿大家都能順利完成學(xué)期中的任務(wù)，取得自己理想中的成績。    

最后，祝愿新生們能夠快速適應(yīng)新的校園生活，老生們能夠再接再厲，更進(jìn)一步。

Dear students and teachers, good afternoon. 

After the long summer holiday, I couldn’t wait to return to our beautiful school and continue to study. First of all, I welcome new students to the big SHBS family. I hope everyone of you can actively contribute to the school while enjoying campus life.

First, some advice to the new students, and I hope it helps.

Like you, I was an uncertain new student a year ago, trying to adapt. The variety of courses and all-english teaching brought me great trouble, but after talking with teachers again and again, I gradually adapted to the school. If you have any problems, you can solve it easily by talking to our teachers.

I wonder if there are shy students who are reluctant to show themselves on stage. In the past, I was one of them. I was not very interested in performing on stage. But when I did it for the first time, with the encouragement of my teacher, my mind was changed and I became keen to perform. I played the clarinet, read poems, and danced with my classmates for the first time. These helped me grow more confident, and also created precious memories.

The school has many activities, like a poetry reading competition, an English speech competition, an English debate competition, and more, which gives you plenty of opportunities to show your language ability and cultivate your self-confidence. 

Besides these academic activities, there are others which produce a lot of fun. The art festival in December is sooner than you expect. Students can prepare to show their talents. Last year's Art Festival was a feast for the eyes. I believe with fresh energy this year will be even better. I hope every new student will join and enjoy.

Now, I want to say something to the returning students.

I believe everyone had their own harvest this summer. With the arrival of the new semester, we all have new pressure: Grade 10 students are facing the TOEFL test, grade 11 students face the pressure of ACT and SAT tests, and seniors have entered the college application season. But please believe that your efforts will pay off. I wish that you all can successfully complete the tasks of the new semester and achieve your ideal results.

I look forward to seeing new students adapting quickly, and with my fellow returning students, making even more progress.

尊敬的老師們，親愛的同學(xué)們，大家下午好，我是今年SHBS的新生，很榮幸我能夠成為本次的新生代表發(fā)言。

帶著對未來和外部世界的向往，我們來到了SHBS，即將在美麗的校園這度過我們的三年高中時(shí)光

在開學(xué)前的體驗(yàn)營期間，我擔(dān)任的職務(wù)是營長和閉幕式導(dǎo)演，在這段時(shí)間，我學(xué)會了一個(gè)詞尊重。

每個(gè)人都是擁有獨(dú)立思維的個(gè)體，一定會存在著相同和不同的觀點(diǎn)，這個(gè)時(shí)候，我們需要去尊重每一個(gè)人，傾聽他們的觀點(diǎn)，與他們一起探討觀點(diǎn)，求同存異。古往今來，社會的進(jìn)步和發(fā)展都是在不同的觀點(diǎn)碰撞中產(chǎn)生的。

首先，談?wù)勎覍HBS的校園的感受，我們學(xué)校占地面積大，環(huán)境優(yōu)美，學(xué)習(xí)和鍛煉資源豐富，并且在我們學(xué)校旁邊就是著名的朱家角古鎮(zhèn)，能夠生活和學(xué)習(xí)在如此美麗的校園里，增強(qiáng)了我學(xué)習(xí)的動力和保持著愉快的心情。

接下來，在和SHBS的老師們接觸的過程中，發(fā)現(xiàn)老師們都是風(fēng)趣幽默的，他們的課堂生動有趣，并且生活中也時(shí)刻關(guān)心著同學(xué)們。在體驗(yàn)營中，我的嗓子受傷了，老師都非常關(guān)心我，這讓我十分感動......

在即將開始的新學(xué)期，我們新生，要把優(yōu)秀的前輩當(dāng)作是我們學(xué)習(xí)的榜樣，與他們配合，和諧相處，也請同學(xué)們多多參與學(xué)習(xí)的社團(tuán)活動和社區(qū)活動，建設(shè)美好校園，美好社區(qū)。

最后，希望同學(xué)們可以在SHBS努力的學(xué)習(xí)，祝你們?nèi)〉脙?yōu)秀的成績，也祝老師們工作順利。

Dear teachers, dear students, good afternoon. My name is David Kong，a freshman at SHBS. 

It's my honor to represent new students.

With a yearning for the future and the larger world, we come to this beautiful school for our high school years.

During the experience camp, I  was the battalion commander and the director of the closing ceremony. During this time, I learned the true meaning ofan essential word:respect.

Everyone is an individual with independent thinking, and people will have similar or different views. At such times, we need to respect everyone, listen to their views, discuss with them, and seek common ground while respecting differences. Throughout history, the progress and development of society has been generated through the collision of different viewpoints.

I feel grateful for the SHBScampus. Our school covers a large area, has a beautiful environment and has a wide variety of sports facilities. Besides, next to our school is the famous ancient town of Zhujiajiao. Being able to live and study in such a beautiful campus has enhanced my motivation and kept me in a happy mood.

While communicating with SHBS teachers, I found that they were all humorous, their classes were lively and interesting, and they always cared about student  In the experience camp, whenI strained my voice, the teachers were very concerned about me, which was very touching.

In the new semester, we new students, to should take the outstanding seniors as our role moderls, cooperate with them, harmoniously, and also invite students to participate in ourlearning and community activities. Together we will continue,to build a better campus, a better community.

Finally, I hope you can study hard in SHBS. I wish you good results and I wish the teachers success in their work.

大家下午好！我是來自12年級2班的陳同學(xué)，很榮幸有機(jī)會在今天代表全體12年級同學(xué)發(fā)言。相信在過去的2個(gè)月中，大家都度過了一個(gè)快樂而或忙碌的暑假。對于重返校園的老朋友，和剛剛踏進(jìn)校園的新朋友們，都表示熱烈的歡迎，歡迎加入宏潤博源這個(gè)溫暖的大家庭。

Good Afternoon! I’m Caca from Class 2, Grade 12 and it's a great honor to represent the seniors and to share my thoughts with you. I believe that over the past two months, you all had a happy and fulfilling summer vacation. I warmly welcome old friends who have returned to campus along with our new friends who have just joined SHBS. Welcome to our warm family.

對于9，10年級的學(xué)弟學(xué)妹們，希望你們抓住相對富裕的時(shí)間，提前做好升學(xué)計(jì)劃。在保證學(xué)校學(xué)業(yè)的同時(shí)，參加課余活動，自我探索。

For classmates in Grade 9 and 10, I hope you can seize the relatively abundant time you still have, and plan in advance for your studies. While ensuring school performance, you can participate in extracurricular activities and explore yourselves.

對于11年級的學(xué)弟學(xué)妹們，新冠疫情出乎意料的有了反復(fù)，復(fù)雜的情況限制了我們的考試安排，但我們還是需要加強(qiáng)對基本功的磨練，時(shí)刻做好準(zhǔn)備。幸運(yùn)的是，我校已成為ACT考點(diǎn)，為大家提供了足不出戶就能參加美國高考的機(jī)會，我也有幸成為第一批考生。希望學(xué)弟學(xué)妹抓住便利，為自己的申請?jiān)偬砩嫌懈偁幜?、濃墨重彩的一筆。如果有關(guān)于申請的問題，我們很樂意解答。

For the 11th graders, the pandemic unfortunately endures. Restrictions limit our examination arrangements. But we still need to strengthen our basic skills and prepare ourselves at all times. Fortunately, our school has become an ACT test center, which provides us with the opportunity to participate in the American college entrance examination without leaving home. I am also lucky to be part of the first batch of candidates. You should seize upon this convenience and add a competitive point to your application. If you have any questions about the application, we are happy to answer them.

對于12年級的我們，未來的兩個(gè)學(xué)期是我們最后沖刺的關(guān)鍵階段，請老師們放心，我們定將最大程度的努力，為學(xué)校、為自己、為這四年交上一份完美的答卷，不留遺憾。

For us, the next two semesters are the key stage of our final sprint. We will try our best to honor what we’ve already gained from the school, for ourselves and for four years’ hard work without regret.

最后，我想以Bowen校長的一句話作為結(jié)尾：“放棄很容易，但是堅(jiān)持下來，你會收獲成長和幸福?！?/p>

Finally, I want to end with a quotation from Principal Bowen: “It is easy to give up, but if you keep going, you will grow and harvest happiness."
