作為初中部的新面孔，六年級新生個(gè)個(gè)洋溢著興奮與期待的笑容，因?yàn)閺男W(xué)湖泊中駛出的小船，即將豎起新的桅桿揚(yáng)起新的風(fēng)帆，駛?cè)胄碌暮Ｓ颉?/p>

Young and immature as they might be, the new Grade 6 students bid farewell to the harbor of primary school and are sailing towards the vast ocean.

初次見面，請多關(guān)照

在開營儀式上，教師團(tuán)隊(duì)向同學(xué)們做了自我介紹，臺上的教育熱情與臺下的青春活力即將交融在一起：情感的交融，中西的交融。

At the opening ceremony the teaching staff of Grade 6 gave a brief self-introduction. Enthusiasm of youthful vitality on and off the stage is about toblend with a fusion of Chinese and Western  emotions

紅藍(lán)黃綠，團(tuán)隊(duì)建設(shè)

Good things will happen 

未分班先分house！紅色——熱情四溢；藍(lán)色——無限寬廣；黃色——旭日東升；綠色——生命活力。在“團(tuán)隊(duì)建設(shè)師”的帶領(lǐng)下，個(gè)體不再孤單，集體的凝聚力增強(qiáng)了個(gè)體的執(zhí)行力。

Team Building

Red represents passion, blue eternity, yellow sunrise and green vitality. Under the guidance of our staffs, students joined hand and completed the tasks as a team.

Our latest selection provided by the Canteen include a variety of nutritious and delicious food that tickled the teenagers’ taste buds.

認(rèn)識新教室，適應(yīng)走班制。離開提供美食的食堂，趁著午后散步，跟著老師們參觀一下提供精神食糧的“食堂”——學(xué)科教室。認(rèn)識一下各個(gè)學(xué)科教室的方位，為走班制做好準(zhǔn)備。

Tour of Campus  

Getting to know the new classrooms and adapting to having specialized subject classrooms, the students were guided around the campus  finding their subject classrooms.  

At the end of the tour,   they discovered the canteen where each day they will get the chance to have delicious food and prepare for the afternoon classes.

不以規(guī)矩，不成方圓

同學(xué)們以文字加漫畫的形式學(xué)習(xí)了“初中部學(xué)生手冊”里的關(guān)鍵內(nèi)容，從“作息時(shí)間”到“學(xué)校期許”，從“行為守則”到“學(xué)術(shù)誠信”，離開“母雞帶小雞”式的小學(xué)生管理，同學(xué)們逐漸在心中建立起更高階的規(guī)矩，只為開拓“自律”和“自治”的新“方圓”。

Students went through the key points of Students Handbook of Middle School covering timetable, behavioral expectation andacademic integrity. Self-discipline was emphasized and has been established in their minds.

豐富有趣的體驗(yàn)課，讓同學(xué)們感受了戲劇的張力，探索了科技的奧秘，領(lǐng)略了高爾夫的魅力，體驗(yàn)了擊劍的刺激，令他們對初中部的學(xué)習(xí)更加充滿期待。

Engaged in CCA Experience

CCA Experience enriched pupils experience in drama, science and techonology, golf and fending, boositng their expectation for middle school life.

步伐一致，隊(duì)列展示

Good things will happen 

“隊(duì)列展示”是團(tuán)隊(duì)建設(shè)的成果之一，嘹亮的口號，整齊的步伐展示出同學(xué)們正用飽滿的精神迎接著新學(xué)期的到來。與此同時(shí)，同學(xué)們也從“隊(duì)列展示”中悟出了一個(gè)道理：中國之所以能一次又一次戰(zhàn)勝新冠疫情，就是因?yàn)樵陉P(guān)鍵時(shí)刻，能舉國上下齊心協(xié)力，步調(diào)一致。

House Formation Show

The high morals demonstrated by the teenagers in House Formation Show set a good start for the forthcoming semester.  They came to realize that the very success of China’s victory over waves of COVID 19 hits relies on nationwide collaboration and cooperation.

懷揣期許，進(jìn)入新班

Good things will happen 

同學(xué)們的精神面貌贏得了在場觀摩的校長們和學(xué)部主任的贊賞目光。最后，同學(xué)們懷揣著校長的祝福和期許，進(jìn)入了期待已久的新班級，認(rèn)識班主任和同學(xué)，還收到了來自學(xué)長們的禮物——英語詩集，等待同學(xué)們的將是詩和遠(yuǎn)方。

Entering new classe

The youngsters’ spiritual readiness was highly praised by principals who expressed their best wishes to their new school life.  Students entered new classrooms where they’ve met their tutors and classmates, and received the poetry book- gift from previous Grade 6 students.

六年級新生體驗(yàn)營，讓同學(xué)們認(rèn)識了同學(xué)和教師，感受了校園環(huán)境，體驗(yàn)了初中部作息制度，學(xué)習(xí)了初中部行為規(guī)范，同時(shí)完成了班級初步建設(shè)，為新學(xué)期的學(xué)習(xí)活動做好了準(zhǔn)備

The  Orientation Camp of G6 , let the students get to know their classmates and teachers,  familiarized them with the timetable and behavioral expectations and established new classes; thus setting a solid foundation for thecoming new semester.
