上周，協(xié)和教科融合課程部迎來了一批小客人，他們是協(xié)和尚音五年級的學弟學妹們。在這里，他們展開了一次沉浸式的初中體驗活動。

Have you ever dreamed of experiencing the life of the middle school in advance? 

Last week, Grade 5 students of SUIS SHANGYIN had the opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled taster day at SUIS JKMW.

跟隨著學生會代表的講解，尚音的同學們首先參觀了教科校區(qū)的校園環(huán)境，獨立的科學實驗室、寬敞明亮的音樂教室、充滿活力的體育館等，都讓他們眼前一亮！

Led by our prefects of the Student Council, the Grade 5 SY students toured our school’s modern facilities, visiting the gym, science labs and music rooms......

聯(lián)合副校長Mr. Flower和Ms. Cindy向同學們講述了EMW學生一天的生活是如何展開的。從黃色大鼻子校車把大家安全送到學校開始，融合學子們便迎來每天各種精彩豐富的學習和活動，他們在校園里努力汲取知識，迎接不同的挑戰(zhàn)，朝著自己的夢想一步一步靠近。

Mr. Flower and Ms. Cindy, Co-Vice Principals of JKEMW, introduced the campus life at EMW. Everyday, our students are sent to school by yellow school buses, and there are various activities and courses waiting for them to explore. They work hard to acquire knowledge, rise to different challenges, and go confidently in the direction of their dreams!

It's Time for Class!

GERMAN

—— 德語課 ——

你知道德語的“你好”怎么說嗎？你知道原來德語和英語是同宗同族嗎？那么德語到底難不難呢？在德語體驗課堂上，老師們用生動的形式拉近了大家和德語的距離，激發(fā)了尚音同學們對于這一第三外語的興趣和向往，他們非常期待今后能和其他學長學姐一起探索德語國家的歷史和文化。

How do you say “Hello” in German? Do you know both German and English are part of the same language roots? Our German teachers used vivid teaching approaches to stimulate the 5th graders’ interest in this foreign language. The students were eager to explore the cultural diversity of German-speaking countries at Jiaoke Campus in the near future.

SCIENCE

—— 科學課 ——

穿上白大褂，帶上護目鏡，五年級同學們搖身一變成為了一個個小小科學家。在簡單了解了實驗室安全操作知識后，同學們在科學老師的指導下，用不同的溶液來檢測食物中的淀粉、蛋白質(zhì)及糖分的含量。最后，科學老師還給大家展示了一顆小小的軟糖能有多大的熱量，引得現(xiàn)場同學驚叫連連。

作為JKEMW的明星課程，我們的科學課以“科學地工作”為基礎，通過動手實踐操作，幫助學生獲得思考、分析和處理科學數(shù)據(jù)和問題的能力。

Putting on white lab coats and goggles, the 5th graders turned into little scientists. After briefly learning about lab safety rules, the students used different solutions to detect the starch, protein and sugar in different kinds of food under the guidance of the science teachers. At the end of the class, a science teacher also showed an experiment to prove how much energy a gummy bear contains. The “fireworks show” made the students stunned and in awe. 

At JKEMW, our science class is based on "working scientifically". Through hands-on experiments, we aim to help students gain the ability to think, analyze and process scientific data and problems.

MUSIC

—— 音樂課 ——

音樂教室里，尚音的同學們在老師優(yōu)美的琴聲下，像一朵朵盛開的花，時而活力動感，時而靜靜感受。在音樂的牽引下，同學們張開想象的翅膀，肆意地翱翔于音符中。這就是JKEMW的音樂課，在這里，大家可以去感受、去發(fā)現(xiàn)、去創(chuàng)造。

In the Music room, the students learned a new song and appreciate the beauty of music. They had lots of fun riding this amazing music journey and enjoyed the incredible power that music offers. This is Music class at JKEMW, where everyone is encouraged to feel, to discover, and to create.

短短的半日活動，讓尚音的小客人們都意猶未盡。他們深度感受了教科融合課程的個性化和多樣性，在這里有笑聲、有驚喜，有收獲，但也有遺憾，遺憾還有好多問題來不及問，好多課程來不及探索。

于是，本周，JKEMW六年級的學生會成員們走進尚音校園，分享他們眼中的初中生活，為學弟學妹們答疑解惑。

The prospering taster day came to and end. It enables the 5th graders to gain a deep experience on the diversity of SUIS JKEMW. In order to help Shangyin students know more about JKEMW, this week, some Grade 6 prefects who are Shangyin graduates returned to their Alma Mater and shared their views on Shangyin and Jiaoke.

聽了學姐學長的分享，尚音的同學們對即將到來的初中生活又多了幾分期待和憧憬。包羅萬象的課程，精彩紛呈的活動，溫暖包容的校園生活......都在等待他們來探索！

After the sharing of the prefects, the 5th graders had more expectation for the upcoming middle school life. At JKEMW, they will explore various courses, participate in more activities, and enjoy a warm and exciting campus life.
