　　近日，2021年度“上海希望之星暨希語(yǔ)盛典”英語(yǔ)風(fēng)采大賽小學(xué)組比賽落下了帷幕。比賽期間，上海美高雙語(yǔ)學(xué)校學(xué)生踴躍參與，全心付出。經(jīng)過(guò)一輪輪緊張的準(zhǔn)備和激烈的角逐，我校8位學(xué)子披荊斬棘，在眾多參賽選手中脫穎而出，取得了優(yōu)異的成績(jī)！同時(shí)在比賽中，展現(xiàn)了美高雙語(yǔ)學(xué)子優(yōu)異的口頭表達(dá)能力和對(duì)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的無(wú)限熱情。

　　Recently, the primary school competition of the 2021 "Shanghai Outlook Superstars" came to an end. During the competition, students from Living Word Shanghai Bilingual School participated actively and devoted themselves wholeheartedly. After a round of intense preparation and fierce competition, eight students of our school have come out of the competition and achieved excellent results! At the same time, the competition showed the excellent oral expression ability and boundless enthusiasm for English learning.

　　賽事介紹

　　中央電視臺(tái)"希望之星"英語(yǔ)風(fēng)采大賽是中央電視臺(tái)主辦的面向全國(guó)觀眾的大型電視英語(yǔ)比賽，大賽本著"培養(yǎng)興趣、增強(qiáng)信心、展示風(fēng)采、樹立榜樣"的原則，為所有愛好英語(yǔ)的電視觀眾提供了一個(gè)鍛煉自我、認(rèn)識(shí)自我、展示自我、捕捉機(jī)遇的舞臺(tái)，深受廣大觀眾的歡迎。自2000年起，已成功舉辦二十二屆。大賽從2013年度開始和美國(guó)哈佛大學(xué)、斯坦福大學(xué)、紐約大學(xué)、劍橋大學(xué)、悉尼大學(xué)、加拿大安大略省教育局等國(guó)際名校強(qiáng)強(qiáng)合作，對(duì)于大賽全國(guó)獲獎(jiǎng)?wù)呓o予預(yù)錄取邀請(qǐng)等各種獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)。

競(jìng)賽展風(fēng)采，磨煉促成長(zhǎng)

　　上海美高雙語(yǔ)學(xué)校鼓勵(lì)孩子多參加一些含金量和認(rèn)可度都較高的英語(yǔ)競(jìng)賽，培養(yǎng)孩子多方面能力。此次希望之星比賽一經(jīng)發(fā)布就獲得了大家的廣泛關(guān)注和積極響應(yīng)，賽前同學(xué)們紛紛積極報(bào)名，并竭盡全力準(zhǔn)備參賽材料。比賽中，同學(xué)們熱情投入，沉著冷靜，他們?nèi)σ愿鞍l(fā)揮自己的能力，爭(zhēng)取獲得最好成績(jī)。

　　在所有傲然成績(jī)的背后都是每一位學(xué)子的奮力拼搏，通過(guò)參加這些賽事活動(dòng)，學(xué)生們既展示了風(fēng)采，獲得了自信，也提高了自己的綜合語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力、溝通能力、思辨能力及人文素養(yǎng)。

　　值得一提的是，美高初高組同學(xué)們憑借過(guò)硬實(shí)力成功晉級(jí)希望之星決賽，讓我們一起見證更多出彩的“希望之星”誕生吧~

　　Living Word Shanghai Bilingual School encourages children to participate in English competitions with awarding content and achieve recognition, so as to cultivate children's abilities in many aspects. As soon as the "Outlook Star" competition was released, it received wide attention and positive response from all of us.

　　Before the competition, students actively signed up and tried their best to prepare the materials for the competition. In the competition, the students are enthusiastic and calm. They try their best to give it their all and strive for the best results.

　　Behind all the proud achievement is the hard work of every student. Through participating in these competitions, students not only show their style and gain self-confidence, but also improve their comprehensive language skills, communication skills, critical thinking ability and humanistic quality.
