南極科考專家走進(jìn)上海美高雙語(yǔ)學(xué)校開(kāi)展科普知識(shí)講座

為啟迪青少年科學(xué)思維和創(chuàng)新意識(shí),營(yíng)造講科學(xué)、愛(ài)科學(xué)、學(xué)科學(xué)、用科學(xué)的濃厚氛圍,我校邀請(qǐng)華東師范大學(xué)地理科學(xué)學(xué)院教授,博士生導(dǎo)師史貴濤教授,在學(xué)校一樓為G3師生作了《揭秘白色南極大陸-科學(xué)研究的"圣地"》的科普講座。
LWS strives to inspire our students' scientific thinking and innovative consciousness, and create a strong atmosphere of speaking, loving, learning and using science. Recently our school invited Professor Shi Guitao, a professor and doctoral supervisor of the school of Geographical Sciences of East China Normal University, to give a popular science lecture on "revealing the secret of the white Antarctic continent, a holy land of scientific research" for G3 teachers and students on the first floor of our school.

史教授主要研究方向?yàn)闃O地環(huán)境與氣候變化。主要從事南極雪冰現(xiàn)代環(huán)境過(guò)程、冰芯氣候記錄方面的研究;組織或參加了4次南極內(nèi)陸冰川學(xué)考察,在南極工作和生活累計(jì)時(shí)間2年多,擔(dān)任中國(guó)南極昆侖站副站長(zhǎng)、黨支部書(shū)記。
2012/2013年,帶隊(duì)打下了中國(guó)南極深冰芯第一鉆;
2015/2016年,作為深冰芯現(xiàn)場(chǎng)負(fù)責(zé)人創(chuàng)造了中國(guó)南極冰芯鉆探單季進(jìn)尺記錄。在極地雪冰現(xiàn)代環(huán)境過(guò)程、機(jī)理和變化等方面并取得了一系列成果,為深入理解極地氣候環(huán)境變化奠定了基礎(chǔ)。主持(或完成)了國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金、國(guó)家重點(diǎn)研發(fā)計(jì)劃課題等項(xiàng)目10余項(xiàng),發(fā)表論文著作近80余篇(部);
2019年,獲得國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金優(yōu)秀青年基金項(xiàng)目資助,2020年入選上海市優(yōu)秀學(xué)術(shù)帶頭人計(jì)劃。擔(dān)任第九屆國(guó)際冰凍圈科學(xué)協(xié)會(huì)中國(guó)委員會(huì)委員。
在本次講座上,史教授講述了自己在南極科考工作的經(jīng)歷,結(jié)合科考實(shí)錄(照片和視頻)、實(shí)驗(yàn)數(shù)據(jù)和模擬動(dòng)畫(huà),介紹了南極冰蓋的形成、自然環(huán)境、科學(xué)考察與研究、南極對(duì)于人類的意義,將在座的師生帶進(jìn)了神奇夢(mèng)幻的極地世界。
Combining his own experiences in the North and South Poles of conducting scientific research, Professor Shi introduced the characteristics of the north and south poles of the earth, the ecologies of the region, and the strategic significance of the two poles of the earth to human beings by using a large number of vivid photos, data, and video resources. All of this brought our teachers and students here into the magical and dreamy polar world.
史教授講課邏輯縝密,將科學(xué)理論與實(shí)際案例相結(jié)合,逐一揭開(kāi)孩子們心中的極地謎團(tuán)。講座過(guò)程中,他幽默風(fēng)趣,深入淺出地講述了極地生物特有的生命現(xiàn)象,讓孩子們震撼。同時(shí),史教授還向同學(xué)們展示了南極巖石樣品,同學(xué)們真真切切的感受到南極科考的魅力及生命的力量,現(xiàn)場(chǎng)氣氛熱烈。
Professor Shi's lectures are logical and meticulous, combining scientific theory with practical cases to uncover the polar mysteries in children's hearts one by one. In the course of the lecture, he talked about the unique life phenomena of polar creatures in a humorous and simple way, which shocked the children. At the same time, Professor Shi also brought a piece of original stone from Antarctica. The children reached out to touch the grain of the original stone in turn. Through the traces of the stone, they felt the charm of Antarctic scientific research and the power of life. The atmosphere was warm.
此次講座,史教授除了科普我國(guó)南極科考的發(fā)展歷史與現(xiàn)狀,南極靚麗獨(dú)到的風(fēng)景外,還介紹了科考隊(duì)員們?cè)谀蠘O的工作重點(diǎn)困難、挑戰(zhàn)、目標(biāo)、收獲等,這些都深深牽動(dòng)著每一位同學(xué)的心.講座也傳遞著科考團(tuán)隊(duì)濃濃的愛(ài)國(guó)情懷和求實(shí)、敬業(yè)的科學(xué)家精神。
In this lecture, Professor Shi not only popularized the history and current situation of China's Antarctic scientific research, but also introduced the key points, difficulties, challenges, goals and gains of the scientific research team in Antarctica, which deeply affected the hearts of every student. The lecture also conveys the strong patriotic feelings of the scientific examination team, the admirable quality of scientific examination and the spirit of craftsmanship.
講座最后,上海美高雙語(yǔ)學(xué)校董方正先生從史教授手上接過(guò)中國(guó)著名的極地破冰船“雪龍2號(hào)”模型,寓意著彼此將建立了長(zhǎng)期穩(wěn)定的合作關(guān)系,通過(guò)一系列講座開(kāi)拓學(xué)生的視野、普及科學(xué)知識(shí),激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)興趣與愛(ài)國(guó)情懷,弘揚(yáng)不畏艱險(xiǎn)、勇于探索的科學(xué)精神。
At the end of the lecture our president, Mr. Fang, of Living Word Shanghai Bilingual School oversaw the jigsaw puzzle model of China's Antarctic scientific research ship from Professor Shi, implying that they will establish a long-term and stable cooperative relationship with each other. Through a series of lectures, he expanded students' horizons, popularized scientific knowledge, stimulated students' interest in learning and patriotic feelings, and carried forward the scientific spirit of fearing difficulties and exploring bravely.
