　　For the first time, pupils at Hankai Academy participated in the Summer Exhibition at Shixi Gongfang Workshop Gallery.

　　7月3日，漢開書院的8名學(xué)生，在老師的帶領(lǐng)下，前往風(fēng)景秀麗的南京不老村，在拾夕工坊參加了夏季藝術(shù)展。

　　陶藝體驗(yàn)

　　At the start of the afternoon, the pupils were given the opportunity to explore the picturesque landscape which would act as the backdrop for their drawing lesson later on in the day.

? ? When they arrived at the gallery they were greeted with a choice of handmade cakes and freshly squeezed tropical juice.

　　來(lái)到風(fēng)景如畫的不老村，師生們共同欣賞山水風(fēng)景并探討如何將美景用畫筆描繪表現(xiàn)出來(lái)。步行到拾夕工坊，迎接學(xué)生們的是各式各樣的手工甜品以及鮮榨的熱帶果汁。

　　The workshop’s lesson objective was for all pupils to create a pottery design that would be practical to use but should also look beautiful and elegant. During the two-hour workshop session, they were taught by劉玲玲, Michael Butler, their art teacher, and Sophie秦笑. They were able to discover and learn new ways to create three-dimensional objects by using clay-modelling tools.

　　接下來(lái)進(jìn)入本次藝術(shù)體驗(yàn)課的主題——陶藝工作坊，學(xué)生們會(huì)學(xué)習(xí)設(shè)計(jì)并制作實(shí)用且美觀的陶器。在兩個(gè)小時(shí)的工作坊中，劉玲玲老師、Michael老師、秦笑老師與學(xué)生們共同討論與制作，其樂融融。學(xué)生們學(xué)習(xí)了使用黏土模型工具來(lái)制作三維立體物體的方法，是一次增長(zhǎng)知識(shí)開拓視野的體驗(yàn)。

　　寫生創(chuàng)造

　　By coming out of the classroom environment they were able to experience how art and nature are connected. Consequently, the art class became more visceral for the students, they were more responsive to questions and they listened to the art teacher more intently because of the relaxed atmosphere.

　　走出課堂，走進(jìn)大自然，通過課外的體驗(yàn)活動(dòng)，學(xué)生們感受到藝術(shù)與自然的聯(lián)系。通過這個(gè)過程，學(xué)生對(duì)于藝術(shù)課程的興趣也更加深入，對(duì)于問題的反應(yīng)更加迅速，在輕松愉悅的氛圍里，與老師和同學(xué)們的關(guān)系也得以加深。

? ? They were encouraged and instructed to feel free whilst drawing quickly and to draw from observation. The ruby-red flowers and the lush green plants in the lily pod were a wonderful way to promote the creative arts to young aspiring art students.

　　老師們鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生通過觀察進(jìn)行作品繪制，在快速的寫生體驗(yàn)中感受藝術(shù)的自由。百合莢中的紅寶石花和郁郁蔥蔥的綠色植物是學(xué)生們都很喜愛的寫生對(duì)象。

　　Art classes are teaching pupils at Hankai Academy to have freedom and experience enjoyment in the creative process.

　　藝術(shù)課程致力于培養(yǎng)漢開學(xué)子在創(chuàng)造性藝術(shù)過程中，體驗(yàn)自由與快樂。
