AP課程始于1955年，是在高中階段開設的大學預科課程，旨在提高學生的學術水平，培養(yǎng)學生大學需要的學習技能，思維能力，掙取大學學分。85%的大學報告稱學生的AP經(jīng)歷對錄取有積極的影響，而且部分大學已把AP成績作為錄取的必要條件。同時研究表明學習AP課程并在考中取得3分及以上成績的學生在大學更會獲得成功。

Since 1955, the AP Program has enabled millions of students to take college-level courses and earn college credit, study skills needed for college, advanced placement, or both while still in high school. 85% of selective colleges and universities report that a student’s AP experience favorably impacts admission decisions and some universities have made AP scores a requirement for admission. Research shows that students who receive a score of 3 or higher on AP Exams typically experience greater academic success in college and have higher graduation rates than their non-AP peers.

北京中加學校一直重視AP課程的發(fā)展與建設，目前已開設20余門AP課程，以滿足不同學生的需求。同時AP成績也在逐步提高，近三年的考試中通過率，優(yōu)秀率和滿分率都超過了全球和中國大陸地區(qū)的平均水平。在2019年的AP考試中我校70名同學參加了125科次的考試，通過率81%，優(yōu)秀率61%，滿分率45%。

BCCSC has always attached great importance to the development and construction of AP courses. At present, more than 20 AP courses have been offered to meet the needs of different students. Meanwhile, AP scores are gradually improving. In the past three years, the passing rate, excellent rate and full score rate of the exam are all higher than the global and CN. In the AP exam of 2019, 70 students took part in 125 subjects, with 81% passing rate, 61% excellent rate and 45% full mark rate.

在2019年的AP考試中，我校多名同學獲得美國大學理事會AP學者獎，其中AP杰出學者獎代表：蔡振中八科優(yōu)秀（有六科滿分），秦園六科滿分。

In the 2019 AP exam, many students of our school won the AP scholar award of the American college board, the representatives of AP Scholar with Distinction are CAI zhenzhong, who has eight outstanding subjects (six full marks), and qin yuan, who has six full marks.
