清瀾山學(xué)校五年級(jí)畢業(yè)設(shè)計(jì)項(xiàng)目正式啟動(dòng)!

每一屆畢業(yè)年級(jí)都會(huì)有兩件大事,一件是畢業(yè)典禮,另一件就是畢業(yè)設(shè)計(jì),而每年的畢業(yè)設(shè)計(jì)都會(huì)伴隨孩子們一整年的時(shí)間,從學(xué)年伊始,到即將畢業(yè)。這一年,孩子們會(huì)緊密關(guān)注17個(gè)全球目標(biāo)(Global Goals),做大量的數(shù)據(jù)收集和研究工作,自己設(shè)計(jì)項(xiàng)目,盡力為全球發(fā)展做出自己的貢獻(xiàn)!他們會(huì)看到全球饑餓地圖,會(huì)了解到世界貧困指數(shù),會(huì)思考全球污染問題,會(huì)關(guān)注瀕危野生動(dòng)物......孩子們?cè)趯W(xué)到知識(shí)的同時(shí),更增添了一份責(zé)任感。
通過畢業(yè)設(shè)計(jì)來提升并考察學(xué)生的探索能力、合作能力、溝通能力以及創(chuàng)新能力,是一種獨(dú)特新穎的評(píng)價(jià)方式;通過這樣的畢業(yè)項(xiàng)目設(shè)計(jì),實(shí)現(xiàn)跨學(xué)科學(xué)習(xí)及學(xué)生自主探索,更好地落實(shí)國家的雙減政策,達(dá)到減負(fù)增效的效果,減輕考試的壓力,提升學(xué)習(xí)的效率。孩子們將從國際問題出發(fā),心懷世界,著手于身邊的小事,嘗試進(jìn)行可實(shí)現(xiàn)的改變,腳踏實(shí)地,建立起一種情懷,與世界休戚與共、夢想相通。
今天的清瀾山學(xué)校校會(huì)上,Mr. Curtis向五年級(jí)的孩子們介紹了今年的畢業(yè)項(xiàng)目目標(biāo),雖然放眼全球,但是我們要從身邊的世界開始改變,做出力所能及的貢獻(xiàn),Mr. Curtis最后列出了明確的時(shí)間節(jié)點(diǎn),雖然畢業(yè)展示是在2022年5月底,但時(shí)間如白駒過隙,很快就從手邊流逝了,因此,五年級(jí)的孩子們要從今天開始,走進(jìn)世界。
今天,每個(gè)班級(jí)都開展了第一次畢業(yè)項(xiàng)目主題班會(huì),為孩子們介紹全球面臨的問題,探討我們可提供的幫助。有的班級(jí)的孩子們選擇了自己喜歡的話題,了解了如何做后續(xù)的研究,開始為收集資料做準(zhǔn)備;有的班級(jí)討論了垃圾分類、性別歧視、午餐浪費(fèi)的例子,開拓思路;有的班級(jí)的孩子針對(duì)17個(gè)主題開啟了文創(chuàng)設(shè)計(jì),有的要設(shè)計(jì)帶有全球目標(biāo)logo的杯子,有的設(shè)計(jì)了涉及到不同目標(biāo)主題的手機(jī)殼,他們說以后要在文創(chuàng)市場上售賣,掙的錢就可以捐贈(zèng)給需要幫助的地區(qū)了!
今天是一個(gè)新的開始,也是一個(gè)好的開始,孩子們帶著世界情懷,為世界做力所能及的事。期待在這一年中,與孩子們共同成長!
The last day in August brings the first official day of the Grade 5 Graduation Project! Mr Curtis started the project with a whole grade 5 meeting! With all Grade 5’s in attendance it was time for the students to look a head at what they will be doing in this year! The Graduation Project is a big part of Grade 5’s learning this year and the students looked very excited to get started! After the meeting it was time for the students to return to class and learn more about the project. Ms. Ran introduced stage 1 of the graduation project which was based on 17 different initiatives that were set by the United Nations to help improve the world that we live in! Some of these included No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Quality Education and Life Below Water! The first task was for the students to make a group of their own choice. Once they arranged themselves into groups they were instructed to use one of the 17 initiatives and create something that related to the initiative. The students came up with some really great ideas some of which included phone cases, posters, cups, chocolate wrappers and necklaces all of which had the information about their chosen initiatives! There’s a lot more work to be done, but now the students know their groups and have their ideas so it’s off we go on the graduation project journey!
