節(jié)日音樂會
The BASIS International School Shenzhen (BISZ) music department kicked off the holiday concert season on December 2 with band and orchestra performances in the gym. The evening featured our beloved Rock Band, Concert Band, and Sixth Grade Band, and debut performances of the BASIS Orchestra and BASIS Junior Orchestra. Led by Mr. Delay, the groups collectively played 17 traditional and contemporary Christmas favorites that put everyone in a jolly, holiday mood.
12月2日晚，深圳貝賽思國際學校節(jié)日音樂會系列活動在體育館拉開帷幕，音樂學科教師帶領(lǐng)的樂隊和管弦樂團率先帶來了精彩的開場表演。隨后深受喜愛的搖滾樂隊、管樂團和六年級樂隊紛紛登臺表演，貝賽思管弦樂隊和貝賽思少年管弦樂隊還獻上了精彩首秀。在Mr. Delay老師的帶領(lǐng)下，樂隊們共同演奏了17首傳統(tǒng)和現(xiàn)代圣誕歌曲，每個人都沉浸在歡樂的節(jié)日氣氛之中。

On December 9, BISZ presented the first-ever all-school choral concert in the Mountain View Theater at the Sea World Culture and Arts Center. This event showcased the talents of Mr. Shahbazi’s G1–3 Choir, Ms. Oumei’s G4–5 Choir, and Ms. Murphy’s G6–12 Choir. The choirs sang a diverse range of Christmas songs, including an Argentinian holiday tune, featuring a student and Santa dancing the tango, and a negro spiritual expertly sung by G6 and G7 students. In the finale, all 116 performers spread throughout the theater and on stage to sing a beautiful rendition of “Silent Night,” which brought the audience to tears.
12月9日，深圳貝賽思國際學校在海上世界文化藝術(shù)中心境山劇場舉辦了首場全校合唱音樂會。Mr. Kashi老師帶領(lǐng)的一至三年級合唱團、Ms. Oumei老師帶領(lǐng)的四至五年級合唱團和Ms. Murphy老師帶領(lǐng)的六至十二年級合唱團為觀眾帶來了精彩的表演，充分彰顯了學生們的才華和風采。三支合唱團獻上了風格各異的圣誕歌曲，其中一首為阿根廷節(jié)日歌曲，一名學生和圣誕老人共同完成的探戈舞令人眼前一亮， 六、七年級學生靈魂樂曲目的演繹所表現(xiàn)出的精湛歌技令人驚艷不已。最后，116名表演者在舞臺上下一同演唱了《平安夜》，動人的歌聲和真摯的情感令觀眾們動容，為整場音樂會畫上圓滿句號。

Continuing the holiday cheer, the Primary School presented “Wishing on a Star,” a magical performance that brought together music, drama, and art on stage. In the first of several collaborative all-Primary events this year, the show was more than just a concert. Students explored the overlap of harmony, the night sky, and winter wonder with music from the choirs and orchestra, dramatic readings and dance, and an interactive lobby display, posters, and set designs created by the G2 Connections classes and Art club. While the music was the star of the event, the dramatic and art elements, clearly inspired by the music, were seamlessly integrated and kept the audience fully engaged through the entire show.
小學部延續(xù)節(jié)日的熱烈氛圍，組織了一場集音樂、戲劇、美術(shù)于一體的創(chuàng)意表演“向星星許愿”。作為今年小學部面向所有年級的活動中的首場表演，它不僅是一場音樂會，更是學生們通過合唱團和管弦樂隊的音樂、戲劇朗讀和舞蹈的形式，結(jié)合二年級綜合課和美術(shù)俱樂部中創(chuàng)作的交互式大堂展示、海報和布景設(shè)計，對和諧、夜空和冬日奇觀的探索。雖然音樂是這場表演的主要元素，但由此產(chǎn)生的戲劇和美術(shù)創(chuàng)意也實現(xiàn)了完美的融合。觀眾們?nèi)淌滞度?，全神貫注地欣賞著精彩的表演。

Last but not least, the smallest BISZ students had a spectacular performance and art show to end the week. Each ECE grade explored art through the theme of winter and chose songs that represent the winter holidays coming up.
本周，深圳貝賽思國際學校最年輕的小藝術(shù)家們帶來了精彩的音樂表演及美術(shù)展。幼兒部各年級學生根據(jù)冬天主題進行了藝術(shù)探索，并選擇了可以代表即將到來的寒假的歌曲。
Kindergarten students drew and painted winter cardinals and created northern lights with chalk on black paper. PK2 students created magical winter snow paintings and snowmen and designed winter hats. PK1 students made snow paintings and created Christmas trees with paint, marbles, and glitter.
K年級學生在黑色的卡紙上用粉筆畫出紅雀和北極光。PK2年級的學生創(chuàng)作了奇妙的雪景和雪人，并設(shè)計了冬日帽子。PK1年級的學生用顏料、彈珠和亮片制作了冬日雪景和圣誕樹。
K Fe performed a beautiful snowflake song in their winter sweaters, K Zn took us on a journey of winter clothing and being outside in the snow, K Co gave a magical performance to wish everyone a happy new year, and all Kindergarten took the stage together to perform a “HELLO” song in nine languages.
K年級Fe班的同學們身著冬日毛衣演唱動聽的《雪花之歌》，K年級Zn班的孩子們帶領(lǐng)觀眾踏上了雪地里的冬裝之旅，K年級Co班級的學生們帶來了精彩的表演并祝福大家新年快樂，隨后全體K年級學生同臺獻上了用九種語言演繹的歌曲《HELLO》。
PK2 Cr transformed into penguins and took us to a winter penguin tea, PK2 Ni dressed in Santa outfits, sang Jingle Bells, and took us on a journey with Rudolph, PK2 Mn took us on a rock-n-roll journey as they grew into Kindergarteners! They finished their performance with a collective cheer to the New Year.
PK2年級Cr班學生變身小企鵝帶領(lǐng)觀眾品嘗了冬日企鵝茶，PK2年級Ni班的孩子們裝扮成圣誕老人，在《鈴兒響叮當》的歌聲中開啟了與魯?shù)婪虻氖フQ之旅，PK2年級Mn班的同學們在即將升入K年級之際帶來了搖滾風格的歌曲。最后，PK2的表演在孩子們新年快樂的歡呼中告一段落。
Pre K1 students warmed the audience with their Christmas tree costumes and beautiful rendition of the snowflake song!
Pre K1年級的學生們身著圣誕樹服飾為觀眾帶來了優(yōu)美的《雪花之歌》，歌聲十分溫暖，令人動容。
The entire ECE performed a Happy New Year song together to end the concert.
最后，幼兒部音樂會在全體幼兒部學生的一曲《新年快樂》中落下帷幕。
