This year’s theme is “Antiquity in the modern time.” You will have a choice of bringing something historical into the 21st century and presenting how ittransitions into today.

上海萬科雙語學校中學文化文明日活動~歡迎來到VKBS CCE日，今年的主題是“古物現(xiàn)代化改造及再現(xiàn)”。學生們可以選擇將帶有歷史意義的古物改造成21世紀風格，同時呈現(xiàn)它是如何過渡到今天的。

Choose a piece of historical artwork. Recreate this artwork in a modern style. Explain what makes the original artwork historically significant and how their style represents the modern style. Bring their artwork on the CCE Day share and present to other same grade students.

學生選擇一件歷史藝術品，以現(xiàn)代風格重新創(chuàng)造這個藝術品。解釋是什么使原始藝術品具有歷史意義，以及重新創(chuàng)造的風格是如何體現(xiàn)現(xiàn)代風格。并在CCE 日上跟同年級的小朋友進行作品展示交流。

Cook烹飪

Choose a dish from the past that is at least 50 years old.   Explain how to make the dish and what made that dish popular in that time period.   Briefly explain the antiquity around that time period and how it relates to the dish.   Cook the dish and describe how it tastes as it relates to food today.   Shoot, edit, and create their food review video.

Choose a historical event to enact again. Students may enact this event with shadow puppets. Be sure to create puppets that look like the characters they are portraying. Make the event as realistic and memorable as possible.
