　　自新型冠狀病毒感染的肺炎疫情爆發(fā)以來，我校高度重視疫情防控工作和學(xué)生復(fù)學(xué)準(zhǔn)備工作，群策群力打響了一場突如其來的疫情阻擊戰(zhàn)。同時，這場沒有硝煙的“戰(zhàn)爭”，也緊緊牽動著家長們的心，家長們紛紛通過各種形式對我校的疫情防控工作表達(dá)關(guān)心與支持。

　　Since the outbreak of pneumonia infected by the new coronavirus, our school has attached great importance to the prevention and control of the epidemic and preparestudents for the return to school.At the same time, the school is helping ease the concerns of parents through prevention work and support.

　　近日，在各種防疫物資緊缺的情況下，北京市第五十五中學(xué)國際部12年級學(xué)生劉梓鋆（加拿大）的家長、國際學(xué)生部家長委員會會長周博淵先生（加拿大）主動聯(lián)系學(xué)校，向?qū)W校捐贈了大量的不同級別的防護(hù)口罩、消毒洗手液、衛(wèi)生濕巾、PVC手套、防護(hù)服等防控物資。

　　Because of the recent shortage of certain supplies, International Students Section Grade 12 student Michael Jordan Rubenstein’s parents (Canadian), International Students Section parents committee chairman Mr. Joseph E Rubenstein (Canadian) took the initiative to contact the school anddonate a large number of different levels of protective masks, hand sanitizer, sanitary wipes, PVC gloves, protective clothing and other prevention and control materials to the school.

　　8年級新生陳名（美國）的家長莊曉英女士（中國）代表全家向?qū)W校發(fā)來一封助力加油的慰問信，并捐贈了60瓶酒精免洗洗手液凝膠。他們都表示，希望奉獻(xiàn)自己的一份力量，同心助力學(xué)校疫情防控工作，攜手為學(xué)生們開學(xué)時創(chuàng)造一個健康無憂的學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境。

　　Ms. Jenny Zhuang (Chinese), the parent of grade 8 student Jamie Chin (American), sent a letter of sympathy to the school on behalf of her family and donated 60 bottles of alcohol gel.They all expressed their hope to contribute to the prevention and control of the school epidemic, and to create a healthy and worry-free learning environment for students at the beginning of the semester.

　　7年級學(xué)生杰新元（俄羅斯）的家長捷蓋先生（喀麥隆）也被中國眾志成城抗擊疫情的決心和力量所感動，特意改編歌曲《精忠報國》，用中文重新編寫歌詞，并在家鄉(xiāng)喀麥隆錄制了歌曲MV，為正在抗擊疫情的中國人民加油。“我見證了團(tuán)結(jié)力量，全世界支持你，你看，勝利就在前方……”歌詞字里行間語言質(zhì)樸，表達(dá)了自己對中國人民真摯的情感，捷蓋先生的演唱激情豪邁，唱出了國際友人與我們同心攜手、共克時艱的決心！

　　Grade 7 student Tchiegue Moukam Yvan’s(Russian)parent Mr. Tchiegue Francois(Cameroon) has also been moved by the call to fight against the disease,adaptingthe song “Loyalty to the Country”, writing the lyrics in Chinese and recording a music video in his hometown of Cameroon, cheering the Chinese people who are fighting the epidemic."I saw the power of unity, the world behind you, you see, victory is ahead..." With lyrics that usesimple language but express the sincere feelings for the Chinese people, Mr. Tchiegue 's song is both passionate and heroic, singing for the world to work together to overcome this difficulty with determination!

　　疫情無情，人間有愛。在抗擊疫情的關(guān)鍵時期，國際學(xué)生家庭的義舉不僅是物質(zhì)上的支持，更是精神上的鼓舞，他們也用實際行動架起了中外友誼的橋梁。學(xué)校對家長們的愛心行為表示深深的感謝！大家的愛心與支持，讓我們增加了一份必勝的信心和力量，我們相信，家校攜手一定能打贏這場防疫攻堅戰(zhàn)，切實保障全校師生的生命健康安全，并為新學(xué)期有序開學(xué)做好充分準(zhǔn)備。

　　Though the epidemic is trying, there is still love in the world.
