I love you, China

　　2019年9月24日，北京市第五十五中學報告廳內(nèi)燈光璀璨、喜慶歡騰，北京市第五十五中學國際部學生部隆重舉辦慶祝中華人民共和國成立70周年大會，各級領導、海內(nèi)外嘉賓、全體師生歡聚于此，暢享節(jié)日藝術盛宴，為新中國70華誕獻上最真摯的祝福。

　　On September 24, 2019, there was joy and excitement in Beijing No.55 High School’s conference hall because the International Students Section celebrated of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Leaders, guests from China and abroad, teachers, and students gathered to feast on a banquet of art and give the best wishes for the China’s 70 anniversary.

　　北京外交人員服務局行政處處長宋豐嶺、北京外交人員服務局行政處行政科科長滕焰、東城區(qū)教委對外交流科副科長李倩以及學校全體行政干部出席了此次慶祝大會。

　　The director of administration department of Beijing diplomatic service bureau, Song Fengling, the director of administration department of Beijing diplomatic service bureau, Teng Yan, the deputy director of foreign exchange department of Dongcheng district education commission, Li Qian, and all administrative cadres of our school attended this celebration.

　　下午13時50分，大會在莊嚴雄壯的國歌聲中拉開帷幕。全體與會人員觀看了專題記錄片《鳥瞰中國》，從“源遠流長”和“繼往開來”兩個視角共同回首中國五千年輝煌的歷史，感受新中國跳動的發(fā)展脈搏。

　　At 13:50, the conference opened with the solemn and majestic national anthem. All participants watched the documentary "A Bird's Eye View of China", looking back at China's 5,000-year glorious history and appreciating China's development from two perspectives, "long history" and "building on past achievements".

　　陳紅校長發(fā)表了熱情洋溢的致辭，陳校長回顧了70年來中國在國家國力以及在世界舞臺角色上的巨變，同時，陳校長指出，北京第五十五中學的國際教育是應國家政治外交之需而誕生，始終與國家民族的命運緊密相連，幾十年來在國際教育這塊新播種的熱土上，辛勤耕耘，走過了不平凡的光輝歷程，學校將不忘初心，砥礪創(chuàng)新，在新時代開啟國際教育的新篇章。

　　Principle Chen Hong delivered a warm speech, reviewing 70 years of China's national strength as well as its role on the world stage. At the same time, Principal Chen pointed out that Beijing No.55 High School’s international education was born from national political diplomacy, which is always closely connected with the fate of the nation. For decades, international education has industriously sown the land, industriously, having gone through a journey of extraordinary splendor. The school will not forget the open minds, those self-motivated and driven to innovation, who open a new chapter of international education in this new era.

　　大會內(nèi)容豐富，節(jié)目精彩紛呈?！断楠{獻瑞》、《盛世歡歌》為整場演出奠定了吉祥喜慶的基調(diào)，騰挪跳躍的舞獅帶動了我們體內(nèi)沸騰的熱血，鏗鏘激昂的鼓點敲響了新時代的旋律，讓我們感受到了中華民族滾燙的血脈。中外師生們演繹的小故事更是展示了中國的飛速發(fā)展、中華文明的兼容并蓄以及外籍師生的中國情懷。

　　The conference had rich diverse and wonderful programs. Lucky Lion in Delight and Opening Prosperity Song laid a joyous and festive tone for the entire performance. The dancing lion moved with leaps and the sonorous and impassioned drum beats reflected the melody of a new era. The stories played by Chinese and foreign teachers and students demonstrated China’s rapid development, the inclusiveness of Chinese civilization and the feelings of foreign teachers and students.

　　我校一直致力于推廣中國的傳統(tǒng)文化，通過傳統(tǒng)文化課堂教學、傳統(tǒng)文化體驗日、中國特色文化社團等課程為外籍學生們搭建了了解中國傳統(tǒng)文化、了解中國的平臺。演出中，各類課程教學成果也精彩亮相，從抑揚頓挫的吟誦到字正腔圓的京劇，從合轍押韻的快板到輕盈靈動的古典舞，再到神秘驚艷的變臉無一不體現(xiàn)著中華傳統(tǒng)文化的豐富多樣，演員們精彩嫻熟的表演掀起了陣陣高潮，并獲得了在場觀眾嘉賓的高度贊賞。

　　Our school has been committed to promoting traditional Chinese culture and has built a platform for foreign students to understand traditional Chinese culture and China through classroom emersion, traditional cultural experiences, cultural association with Chinese characteristics and other activities. During the performance, there were all kinds of teaching achievements and splendid performances, from the cadence of chanting to the clear pronunciation and mellow voice of the Beijing Opera, from the matching rhythms of the Allegro to the light clever classical dance and mysterious amazing face changes. All the performance reflected the rich diversity of the traditional Chinese culture. The actors and actresses performed wonderfully and won the audience’s applause.

　　演出最后，全體中國教師獻上一曲《我和我的祖國》，歌曲悠揚深情的旋律抒發(fā)了老師們的拳拳赤子之心，也為本次演出劃下完美的句點。

　　At the end of the performance, all Chinese teachers presented a song "My Motherland and Me ". The melodious and affectionate melody expressed the teachers' sincere heart and drew a perfect end for the performance.

　　擁抱新時代，青春在飛揚。此次慶祝大會展示了我校師生的風采和活力，展現(xiàn)了我校校園文化的豐富多彩，更是為國際學生們提供了一個了解中國，與中國增進感情的機會，為我校國際教育和諧發(fā)展翻開嶄新的一頁！

　　Embrace the new era, flying youth. This celebration conference showcased the charm and vitality of our teachers and students, showed the rich and colorful campus culture of our school, and provided an opportunity for international students to understand China and enhance their relationship with China, and opened a new page for the harmonious development of international education at our school!
