　　經(jīng)過一個“超長版”版寒假，5月8日

　　煙臺耀華終于迎來了九年級學生返校！

　　為確保返校有序進行及開學后師生的安全健康，學校進行了大量的準備工作！

　　After a very long time away from the care and support of their teachers and school, the Grade 9 students of YWIES Yantai finally returned to school on May 8th as our first students to come back following the school closure.

　　In order to ensure an orderly return to school and the health and safety of both teachers and students formally back on campus, the school has been carrying out a lot of preparatory work.

　　5月6日丨培訓演練

　　在煙臺耀華國際教育學校行政及非教學員工返校40余天后，5月6日，九年級任課教師也返回學校，在外籍校長Mr. Aaron King和學校業(yè)務總經(jīng)理龍少華女士的帶領下進行了為期一天的培訓。

? ? On May 6th, more than 40 days after the administrative and non-teaching staff returned to school, all the teachers of Grade 9 also returned to the school and conducted a one-day training under the leadership of Western Co-Principal Mr. Aaron King, and School Business Manager Ms. Melody Long .

　　中外方教師通過觀看演練視頻和文字資料，認真學習了校區(qū)各項防控方案及應急預案，尤其是與學生密切相關的入離校、晨午晚檢、就餐等流程更是進行了細致的學習和討論，接著老師們又在教室和餐廳進行了應急預案的演練。通過理論學習和實踐演練，提高了老師們的應急能力，為學生們安全返校提供了有力的保障。

By watching the drill videos and watching the documentaries and listening to explanations, all teachers studied and discussed the procedures closely related to students for?school re-opening in detail, such as “entering and leaving school”, “daily inspection”, “dining process”, etc. ?They carried out drills of emergency plans in the classrooms and canteen. Through studying documents, explanation and drill practicing, the emergency response capacity of the working staff has been strengthened, which provides a strong guarantee for all students' return to school.

　　學生們?nèi)胄r按照檢測通道有序行進，前后間隔2米，首先站在消毒地墊上，消毒雙手，然后進行體溫檢測，同時提交《健康備檔卡》及《開學復課疫情防控家長承諾書》，并出示山東省健康綠碼，最后，學生們愉快的進入校園，老師告知了他們進入校園后的流程。

? ? The students walked in an orderly manner following the detection channels foir entering the school, with an interval of 2 metres between them. Stepping onto the protection mat and receiving antibacterial hand gel, their body temperature was checked first, then, they submitted their health declaration card and the parents' commitment letter as well as displaying their health green code. Finally, they were welcomed onto campus and given directions as to how to proceed once inside.

　　外籍校長Mr. Aaron King致歡迎詞

　　在教室集中并再次測量過體溫以后，外籍校長Mr. Aaron King在五樓禮堂向?qū)W生們進行了簡短的歡迎致辭，學生們分散就坐，認真聆聽。Mr. Aaron King首先熱烈歡迎九年級同學返校，他講到，有學生在的學校才會充滿生機，雖然返校的九年級學生為數(shù)不多，但是給了我們一個在校園里創(chuàng)建一個特殊學習社區(qū)的好機會；同時九年級的同學將要升入到高中階段學習，他們將為其他年級的返校樹立良好的榜樣。Mr. Aaron King最后說到，作為經(jīng)過了漫長等待首批返校的學生，學校會對大家格外關注和關心，會傾聽大家的反饋，也希望同學們可以幫助學校在不久的將來共同迎接其他年級同學返校。

　　Once assembled and having had their temperature taken, Principal Aaron offered the students a warm welcome back and some words of wisdom. Sitting separated carefully on the fifth floor, the Grade 9s listened carefully as he explained the following things. Firstly how glad we are to have children back, as a school is only really a school when students are present; that having a small group back with their teachers gives us a wonderful opportunity to create a special learning community on campus; that these students preparing for Upper Secondary will be the role models and leaders of the rest of the community when they return; finally, as the first students back after a long time, we will pay special care and attention to them, listen to their feedback, and together they can help us prepare for the time when all the other students will return to campus – we hope that this will be very soon!

　　為了使學生們熟悉并盡快適應疫情防控下的校園生活，中學部學生關愛主管趙振鳳老師特意在第一節(jié)課安排了疫情防控知識專題講座，向孩子們詳細講解了在校園內(nèi)學習、活動過程中疫情防控的要求。

? ? We then specially arranged a lecture and training during the first class led by Ms. Rita Zhao, Head of Secondary ?(Pastoral). The theme was Covid-19 prevention and control procedures in order to help the students become familiar with and adapt to their forthcoming campus life as soon under special conditions as quickly as possible, and to explain the requirements for learning and activities on campus.

　　開學第一課結束后，學部組織全體學生進行了防控及應急演練。通過學習和演練，提高了學生們的安全意識和自我防護意識以及突發(fā)情況下的應變能力。學生們愉快的度過了返校的第一天，在老師們的指導和關愛下回歸了溫暖的校園生活。

? ? After the first lesson, we organised all the teachers and students to carry out prevention and control emergency drills. Through study and practice, students' awareness of safety and self-protection as well as their ability to respond to emergencies was strengthened and the hearts and minds of students and their parents were reassured. Students happily spent their first day back on campus and quickly became comfortable under the love and guidance of their teachers once more.
