　　“有人說，人生就像‘高速公路’，在‘高速公路’里有很多站點，每個站點都是與眾不同的！我想：這一次游學，或許就是我的‘高路公路’上難以忘懷的一個‘站點’吧！” 　　“我的鞋里不僅藏著沙粒，更藏著整個沙漠?！?　　在戶外游學項目結束后，學生們在他們的作文中這樣寫道。 　　說到戶外教育，很多人都會想到極限的戶外運動，但這只是其中的一小部分。戶外教育的目的不僅僅在于戶外，更著重于教育。 　　孩子的想象力是無窮的，與傳統(tǒng)灌輸式的教育不同，戶外教育不是“教授”孩子學會什么超酷的技能，或是獲取什么知識，而是通過一種‘陪伴’，和孩子們一起走進大自然，以興趣為導向，啟發(fā)和引導孩子們從自然中獲取創(chuàng)造的靈感、生活的智慧和生命的力量，在自然中訓練洞察力、思考力、問題解決能力、思辯力、自我導向能力，從戶外社交中養(yǎng)成合作、友愛、互助、自信、決斷、毅力、抗挫等陽光心態(tài)，從而敬畏自然，尊重生命，熱愛生活。 　　正如新加波總理李顯龍在OBS典禮講話中提到的：“課堂學到的東西，考試后就忘記，而體驗式的教學，通過參與，操作，辛苦，甚至沖突，學到的東西，是自己一生的財富。” 　　作為海嘉國際的特色課程之一，戶外教育自開設以來，一直備受家長青睞。今年我們還于8月首次參選了愛丁堡公爵獎。作為愛丁堡公爵獎的評選標準之一，戶外教育項目備受矚目。 　　今年，我們的中學生們還將繼續(xù)開啟他們的探索之旅，在北京西南部、安吉山、內蒙古等地在戶外中錘煉自我，在戶外中探索、親近自然。

　　讓青春綻放更多的精彩，我們正揚帆起航！ 　　愛丁堡公爵獎是由英國菲利普親王于1956年設立的，目的是為了鼓勵 14- 24 歲的青少年挑戰(zhàn)自我，為國家與社會獻力，實現(xiàn)自我生命價值。該計劃不是一項比賽，而是關于學生個人的自我發(fā)掘、自我挑戰(zhàn)、自我完善。愛丁堡公爵獎勵計劃鼓勵平衡發(fā)展與非競爭性活動，激發(fā)年輕人認識自我、全面成長、獨立自主、堅韌不拔、敢于承擔責任等。 　　愛丁堡公爵獎自開辦60多年以來，已經被全世界各地認可，全球有超過 126 個國家，近 6 百萬青少年參加愛丁堡公爵獎評比。全世界眾多大學與企業(yè)雇主認同并高度評價該獎項。 　　獲得愛丁堡公爵獎的年輕人，尤其是金獎，在未來申請英國或者其它國家的名牌大學、甚至未來的職位申請上都會被優(yōu)先考慮和認可。因為獲得這個獎勵的人，都被認為具備了服務社會，承擔責任，勇于挑戰(zhàn)自我的潛能。 　　BIBA's Outdoor Education program is constantly growing and here is how you're children can get involved! Field Trips - Field trips will be occuring over the month of September for the Middle and High School students. These trips give students life skills which make them more engaged and efficient in the classroom. These are skills like self awareness, self management, empathy for others, communication skills and most importantly, resillience. The Field Trip dates are： 　　Grade 6 - 9th > 12th of September - Beijing South West 　　Grade 7 - 16th > 20th of September - Anji Mountain 　　Grade 8 - 15th > 20th of September - Inner Mongolia Desert 　　The Duke of Edinburgh Award - This award originated from the United Kingdom and today is internationally recognized and world renowned. The award recognizes the efforts of young men and women from the ages of 14 and older. BIBA students are already completing a lot of the components of the award due to the many opportunities that are available within BIBA. Students whom are awarded this award are recognized for their continued pursuit of excellence and the award is highly sought after by employers, universities and schools.
