　　喜歡《哈利波特》的你一定對魔法學(xué)院的分院帽印象深刻。戴上帽子的那一刻，它就能根據(jù)每個學(xué)生的情況將學(xué)生分配到不同的學(xué)院，開啟他們不同的魔法人生。

　　在海嘉每個House都有自己的名稱、顏色和釋義屬性。學(xué)生和老師在進(jìn)入學(xué)校時會根據(jù)語言、文化背景、男女比例平均分配到各個旗隊中，除了學(xué)術(shù)課程以外，學(xué)部每周會舉行一次House活動，另外學(xué)校運動比賽和大型活動也都會以學(xué)院為單位開展。每個學(xué)院都有自己有別于其他學(xué)院鮮明的特點，從不同的方面幫助學(xué)生提升自我意識，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的團(tuán)隊協(xié)作能力及領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力，增強(qiáng)學(xué)生的歸屬感，榮譽感及相互鼓勵的意識。

　　海嘉結(jié)合中西方的教育理念，將中國優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化與國際化的教育相融合，創(chuàng)造和諧共享的集體。海嘉House名取自中國儒家文化的五常，并有其特殊的內(nèi)涵。

　　學(xué)院制管理在這點上跳脫出了橫向的年級劃分，多了一個縱向的維度，學(xué)生在入學(xué)之初依據(jù)各自的特點被分到不同的House體系中。不同年齡的孩子也有可能分到同一個學(xué)院，一起“為榮譽而戰(zhàn)”。而在這一周別開生面的Spirit Week文化周中，我們以合作取代競爭，以分享、支持的形式，共同感受House的多元文化。

　　在這一周，沒有競爭，只有合作、支持和溫暖！

　　一方面，我們倡導(dǎo)對他人乃至所有生命有一種體恤、關(guān)懷、慈柔之心，通過付出自己的財物、資源、才干、時間等，助其減輕苦痛、增進(jìn)安樂，反對暴力、呼喚和平；另一方面，也意味著我們應(yīng)該對“人”這種具備高度智慧與愛心潛能的生命體樹立一種健康的自我意識，認(rèn)識到人之心地所能拓展出的智慧和博愛的無限可能性。

　　德義組首先關(guān)注的是助人受益的義。助人行為發(fā)乎于情，義賣、義演、義診、義工無不滲透著愛的情懷；義也是處世適宜的義，做事有理有則，從而營造更美好的人類家園。關(guān)注弱勢群體，倡導(dǎo)善行善舉，也是從義出發(fā)，從小培養(yǎng)學(xué)生正確的是非觀、價值觀、財富觀。

　　我們在日常生活中以“愛的序位”來展現(xiàn)“禮”。人際交往之間存在尊禮的序位，面對父輩、師長時，應(yīng)知序而有禮。序位之別，代表著我們所扮演的社會角色不同。不論是老師對學(xué)生、家長對孩子，或其他關(guān)系，上下都和諧于愛的序位，對彼此關(guān)愛體貼；除此外，禮還是一種行止有度的行為素養(yǎng)，在不同的場合舉止適宜、懂得自律，“嘉言懿行”成就彬彬君子。

　　我們鼓勵大家要有自信、自勵的精神，堅信可以通過自己的努力而有所成就。通過回顧歷史偉人的心行事跡，我們懂得敬重先人的成就，仰慕人生的真理。人類的智慧和博愛可無限擴(kuò)展，要勤學(xué)篤行、堅持不懈，創(chuàng)建卓越充實的人生。

　　精彩時刻

　　在溝通交流時，我們應(yīng)重信守諾；在行事為人時，我們富有責(zé)任。每一個人都應(yīng)具備誠實、仁愛、謙卑和包容的品質(zhì)。我們應(yīng)善于發(fā)現(xiàn)他人的優(yōu)點，不吝贊美和激勵。通過這樣的方式，從而為自己和他人都營造一個堅強(qiáng)牢固、健康陽光的心理空間。

　　契合海嘉國際精神周“仁義禮智信”的教學(xué)理念，傳承文化經(jīng)典。小學(xué)一至五年級道德與法制課程將每天開展不同的活動主題，以繪畫、書簽、剪紙等多種形式的作品呈現(xiàn)House的文化特色。

　　Spirit Week活動充發(fā)揮學(xué)生的自主性，愉快的一周，孩子們用自己喜歡的方式，去傳遞快樂，踐行House精神?！扒纹ぁ钡睦蠋熞膊桓始拍?，加入其中。中國學(xué)術(shù)與西方旗隊并融，使海嘉House體系更為堅實有力，更富于民族性，也更具有開闊性。

　　而最重要的是，他們通過彼此的支持，成為一個更大的集體。因為擁有彼此，我們成為更加美好的集體！

　　On one hand, we show compassion, care, kindness, and gentleness to others and all living creatures. By devoting our finances, resources, skills, and time we stand against violence and call for peace. On the other hand, this means we should establish a healthy self-awareness of what it is to be a "human being," a living life that possesses intellectual wisdom and abundant potential of giving love.

　　The first focus of our House is to help others. The idea of one’s helpful actions starts from having a loving heart. For example, hosting a charity event or volunteer work for those in need. We understand it is also about conducting oneself in society with strong principles for the betterment of human kind. For example, do not engage in unjust actions or seek to bring harm to another. From the two perspectives of our House, we can differentiate right from wrong and have correct value of life and fortune.

　　We embody "an order of love" in our daily life. In personal relationships, there is an order of respect that exists between elder generations, teachers, leaders, and so on. We should know the order and be courteous as we interact with each other. Order, in this sense, represents the different roles that we play in society. Whether student-to-teacher, employee-to-boss, etc. harmonious and thoughtful attention should be integrated in all existent orders. Additionally, knowing what is appropriate behavior in a given situation and possessing the self-discipline to execute that behavior is vital for us to become upstanding ladies and gentlemen.

　　We encourage all to be confident, self-motivated, and understand that we have the potential to become a distinctively wise individual through diligent work over time; we all should have that expectation. Through the thoughts and actions of the great people in history, we admire the efforts of those who have come before us in time and the true value of life. We understand that human wisdom and love are infinite in nature. With hard work and perseverance, we can eventually create a fulfilling life for ourselves. We understand that promises must be kept in our communication and responsibility must be shown in our deeds. One should possess a personality consisting of honesty, compassion, humbleness, and open-mindedness. The concept is we always look for the value of others and support them with praise and encouragement in their interactions with us. As a result, we are able to create a strong, healthy, and bright mind at both the individual and group levels.

　　A House team building is more than a collection of people. It is a process of give and take. Interdependent people combine their own efforts with the efforts of others to achieve their greatest success. Each of our students recognizes that: One person can be a crucial ingredient on a team, but one person cannot make a team.

　　Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. BIBA Courage!
