　　Children see animals everywhere. From the family pet, to wild animals, to stuffed animals, toys, and media images, animals make up a huge part of a young person’s world. At Magnolia, we believe a child’s relationship with the animal kingdom is nothing less than magical and an opportunity to build respect, responsibility, and nurture a young sense of wonder. 　　孩子們到處都能看到動物，從家庭寵物到野生動物，再到各種動物形象的周邊產(chǎn)品，動物在孩子們的心中占據(jù)了非常重要的地位。在上海黃浦區(qū)民辦瑪諾利婭主題幼兒園，我們相信孩子與動物王國的關(guān)系不僅僅限于探索神奇的生物，更是建立和培養(yǎng)孩子們相互尊重、相互關(guān)愛的品質(zhì)。

　　Learning about animals in the right context is crucial, so we’ve made a curriculum to help students begin to understand these magnificent creatures, both in books and in real life. Recently, at Mr. Zoo children got the chance to see up close, what these furry, slimy, scaly, and sometimes winged friends are up to! 　　在良好的環(huán)境中認(rèn)識、了解動物也是至關(guān)重要的，因此我們制定了一個課程，幫助孩子們了解這些神奇而偉大的地球生物。最近，在MR.Zoo動物元，孩子們有機(jī)會近距離看到這些各種各樣、不同形態(tài)、不同特征的動物朋友!

　　Led by the knowledgeable staff, children learned what makes each animal unique, their favorite foods, and how they can be well-taken care of. The students even got to feed and “hang around” with some of the amazing animals, themselves.Look how the cockatiels were eager to make new friends and the goat especially was no stranger to socialising with anyone who had tasty snacks! 　　在工作人員的帶領(lǐng)下，孩子們了解了每種動物的獨特之處，它們最喜歡的食物，還有它們不同的生活習(xí)慣。孩子們甚至可以拿著小動物最喜歡的食物親自喂食，這是多棒的體驗啊!看,這些鳳頭鸚鵡是多么渴望結(jié)交新朋友，還有小山羊，吃著孩子們喂給它的稻草有滋有味，一點都不怕陌生人!

　　“What's its name?”Where does it live?"Is it nice?", the children asked."Can I touch it?""What does it eat?""Will it bite me?" They inquired. 　　“它叫什么名字?”“它生活在什么地方?”孩子們會問?！拔铱梢悦鼏?”“它喜歡吃什么?”“它會咬我嗎?”他們問道。 　　At Magnolia, we know these kinds of learning experiences are not only fun and exciting, but they instill respect for life and an awareness of the needs of others(human, or not!),as well as give children an understanding of how to interact with other living things. 　　在瑪諾利婭，我們努力提供給孩子們這種真實的學(xué)習(xí)機(jī)會，不僅僅是因為有趣，同時也在灌輸給他們對生命尊重的理念(人類和動物都是)，讓孩子們了解他們的行為對身邊的一切都會產(chǎn)生不可分割的影響。 　　Like all these creatures, we too are a part of the animal kingdom—we’re all one great big family! 　　這些可愛的動物是我們星球上的一部分，讓我們和這些生靈們創(chuàng)建一個和諧快樂的大家庭吧!
