　　2019年10月11日，上海耀華國際教育幼兒園舉行了“楚珩日”校慶活動，慶祝耀中、耀華國際教育機(jī)構(gòu)成立87周年。曾楚珩女士于1932年創(chuàng)辦了耀中國際學(xué)校，為香港及內(nèi)地學(xué)生提供優(yōu)質(zhì)雙語教育已有87年?；谝袊H學(xué)校多年教育經(jīng)驗(yàn)之上，曾楚珩女士的女兒陳保瓊博士以及董事局主席葉國華教授，創(chuàng)辦了耀華國際教育系列學(xué)校。“耀”意謂“光耀”，之所以取名耀中、耀華，寓意“光耀中華”。曾楚珩女士著重“全人教育”，希望通過教育把最寶貴的訊息傳遞給孩子。她的辦學(xué)精神已成為一個聚集點(diǎn)，團(tuán)結(jié)了耀華、耀中各個學(xué)校，讓大家為了共同的教育使命凝聚在一起。為了表達(dá)對曾楚珩女士的敬意，我們特定每年10月的第二個星期五為建校日。

　　We commemorate the founder, Madam Tsang Chor-hang, of all Yew Chung and Yew Wah schools through organizing the Founder’s Day (The 2nd Friday of October each year) as an annual event. This year, the founder’s day held on October 11, 2019, the theme of the Founder’s Day event was SPORTS in order to promote a sense of belonging, unity and spirit among all our children.

豐富多彩的體育活動

　　我們將“楚珩日”定為運(yùn)動日，在當(dāng)天，學(xué)生、教職員工及非教職員工將參與不同類型的體育活動、強(qiáng)身健體，培養(yǎng)對學(xué)校歸屬感及團(tuán)隊(duì)精神。

　　In these games, children can strengthen their physical abilities of flexibility, coordination and team work. We hope our children have a strong body and positive mind to explore this wonderful world.

　　歷經(jīng)87載，桃李天下，讓我們繼續(xù)追隨我們的使命穩(wěn)步前進(jìn)！祝福耀華的明天更加美好！
