《了凡四訓(xùn)》由明代袁黃所著，倡導(dǎo)“命由我作，自求多福”，是一本弘揚(yáng)積善累德、謙虛敬天的導(dǎo)人向善之家書(shū)，對(duì)我們當(dāng)代人追求幸福和諧的人生有巨大的指導(dǎo)作用。上海宏潤(rùn)博源學(xué)校有幸請(qǐng)到北宋徐門(mén)風(fēng)水世家的徐一良先生為全體老師講授這本書(shū)，幫助各位老師更好地圓滿(mǎn)自己的生活和工作。

“Liaofan’s  four lessons”, a book written by Yuan Huang in the Ming Dynasty, advocates the philosophy that "It is I who decide my own destiny and seek my own blessings". It is a family letter that carries forward accumulated virtues, modesty and respect to heaven and guides people to goodness, and also a great guide for our contemporary people to pursue a happy and harmonious life. Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School was lucky to be able to invite Mr. Xu Yiliang, from the Xu family of Feng Shui, which can be traced back to the Northern Song Dynasty, to share this book with the teachers to help them better fulfill their lives and work.

了凡先生通過(guò)立命之學(xué)、改過(guò)之方、積善之方以及謙德之效，開(kāi)出了改變命運(yùn)的四劑良藥，徐先生都一一為我們講解。

Mr. Liaofan offered us four remedies for changing our destiny, i.e.the study of establishing your life, the way of correcting our faults, the means of doing good deeds and the effect of modesty and virtue. Mr. Xu explained them to us one by one.

書(shū)中提到，了凡先生在15歲時(shí)遇到一位孔先生，替他算命曰:“縣考童生，當(dāng)十四名，五十三歲八月十四日丑時(shí)當(dāng)最后正寢，惜無(wú)子”。了凡先生對(duì)照對(duì)照自己的人生經(jīng)驗(yàn)，所占之言究竟靈驗(yàn)，故深信不疑。于是放棄追求，堅(jiān)信“命里有時(shí)終須有，命里無(wú)時(shí)莫強(qiáng)求”。后來(lái)，他遇到云谷禪師，與其靜坐三天三夜后對(duì)其進(jìn)行教導(dǎo)，導(dǎo)他頓悟。于是，他立志改變自己的命運(yùn)，不但考取了進(jìn)士，還有了兩個(gè)兒子，最終活到74歲。從此開(kāi)始積功累德、自求福報(bào)。

The book mentions that at the age of 15, Mr. Liaofan met a Mr. Kong who told him his fortune. Mr Liaofan compared what the fortune-teller said with his own life experience, and found out what he said was true, so he was convinced. He gave up pursuing for something, and firmly believed that “what lasts, lasts; what doesn't, doesn't”. Later, he met Zen Master Yungu, who enlightened him after meditating with him for three days and nights, and led him to an epiphany. As a result, he was determined to change his destiny, and not only did he become, but also had two sons, and eventually lived to the age of 74. From then on, he began to accumulate merits and seek his own blessings.

在改過(guò)之方中，徐老師強(qiáng)調(diào)要通過(guò)“發(fā)恥心”、“發(fā)畏心”、“發(fā)勇心”來(lái)修正自己的行為。改過(guò)是積善的先決條件，要從從事上改，從理上改，從心上改。徐先生也提醒在場(chǎng)老師，一定要不斷反思自我，做到“日三省吾身”。

In the way of correcting our faults, Mr. Xu emphasized the need to correct one's behavior by "having the sense of shame,awe and courage". Mending is a prerequisite for the accumulation of goodness, and should be done based on the event,on the reasoning, and on the mind. Mr. Xu also reminded the teachers present that they must constantly “reflect on themselves three times a day".

在積善之方中，了凡先生很強(qiáng)調(diào)積善要出于至誠(chéng)之心和利他之心?！叭f(wàn)品不齊，皆吾同胞，皆吾一體?！蔽覀儜?yīng)心存愛(ài)敬，通過(guò)點(diǎn)點(diǎn)滴滴的小事來(lái)傳遞足以溫暖全世界的大愛(ài)，我們的命運(yùn)也就在這點(diǎn)滴之中改變著。

In the means of doing good deeds, Mr. Xu emphasized the need to do good deeds out of a sincerity and altruism.  We should bear love and respect deep in our hearts, and pass on a reservoir of love to keep the whole world warm by keeping doing small good deeds, so our destiny will get changed.

人道惡盈而好謙

鬼神害盈而福謙

地道變盈而流謙

天道虧盈而益謙

易曰

道法自然

天法道

地法天

人法地

道德經(jīng)曰

徐老師強(qiáng)調(diào)：“人只要了解天地運(yùn)行的規(guī)律，效法自然，修身養(yǎng)性”，就能夠“與天地合其德，與日月合其明，與四時(shí)合其序，與鬼神合其吉兇”，從而到達(dá)“天人合一”的境界。謙虛謹(jǐn)慎、戒驕戒躁，自然就會(huì)減少災(zāi)咎。

“Yi”asserts that"The way of heaven surplus and profit modest, tunnel surplus and flow modest, ghosts and gods harm surplus and Fu modest, humane evil surplus and good modest."  The Taoist classics argues that , "Man rules the earth, the earth rules the heaven, the heaven rules the Tao, and the Tao rules the nature."  Mr. Xu stressed: "as long as people understand the law of the movement of heaven and earth, follow the nature, cultivate one's morality and cultivate one's character", we can "match its virtue with heaven and earth, match its brightness with the sun and the moon, match its sequence with the four hours, match its good or bad luck with the ghosts and gods", so as to reach the realm of "unity of heaven and man". Modesty and caution, guard against arrogance and rashness, will naturally reduce the blame.

了凡四訓(xùn)

徐先生將《了凡四訓(xùn)》與稻盛和夫先生的《活法》對(duì)比講授，相互支撐、相互映照、相得益彰，為全體老師帶來(lái)了長(zhǎng)達(dá)三個(gè)小時(shí)的人生開(kāi)悟講座，醍醐灌頂、振聾發(fā)聵。啟發(fā)在場(chǎng)的每一位老師深入深刻思考自己的人生和生命的意義與價(jià)值，以及如何追求幸福和諧的生活。

Mr. Xu gave a three-hour lecture on life enlightenment to all teachers by comparing "Liaofan’s four lessons"with “way of living" by Mr. Kazuo Inamori, either of which supported, reflected and complemented the other. It inspired every teacher present to think profoundly about the meaning and value of their life, and how to pursue a happy and harmonious life.

作為老師，我們是幸運(yùn)的，因?yàn)榻虝?shū)育人就是在幫助萬(wàn)千家庭找到方向，就是在積德行善，我們每一天的工作又何嘗不是在“自求多?！蹦?？

As teachers, we are lucky because by educating and teaching students, we are helping thousands of families to find their way out, which is exactly to accumulate virtue and do good deeds. In conclusion, as teachers,our daily work is exactly to seek more blessings by ourselves.
