Respect Your Ancestors and Love Your Elders
本期的初中部集會(huì)，是由七年級(jí)同學(xué)們主導(dǎo)的有關(guān)“愛(ài)國(guó)敬先輩，居家愛(ài)長(zhǎng)輩”的德育活動(dòng)
At the middle school assembly, the seventh-grade students led and presented the moral education activity. The topic was “Love your country, respect your ancestors, and love your elders at home”.
RESPECT
此次德育活動(dòng)共分為2個(gè)篇章，分別是：愛(ài)國(guó)敬先輩——七年級(jí)“敬先輩”海報(bào)展及點(diǎn)贊、觀看電影《長(zhǎng)津湖》、追憶革命先烈；居家愛(ài)長(zhǎng)輩——重陽(yáng)節(jié)慰問(wèn)社區(qū)老人演出。
The moral education activity was divided into two chapters。Chapter 1: Patriotism and Respect for Ancestors which included, a poster display, watching The Battle at Changjin Lake, and recalling revolutionary martyrs. Chapter 2. Was called Love the Elders at Home which included, celebrating the Double Ninth Festival for the elderly in the community.

Chapter One: Respecting Our Ancestors
國(guó)慶期間，初中部同學(xué)們通過(guò)觀看愛(ài)國(guó)教育片《長(zhǎng)津湖》心靈受到了震撼，同學(xué)們以畫筆為媒介，將內(nèi)心對(duì)于革命先烈的敬佩與感激之情融入愛(ài)國(guó)海報(bào)創(chuàng)作中
During the National Day holiday, middle school students watched the film, The Battle at Lake Changjin, which stirred their soul. The martyrs dyed the national flag red with their blood and built the Great Wall with their bodies. The students were made aware of the difficulties of the revolution and the dedication of their ancestors. They were deeply touched. Therefore, the students grasped the brush as the medium to display their inner admiration and gratitude for the revolutionary martyrs on posters. They were full passion and won the praise of the sixth-grade students.

透過(guò)時(shí)光機(jī)的映射，那是一段困頓卻又充滿激情的歲月。同學(xué)們的敬佩與感動(dòng)不僅僅源于一部影片的情節(jié)，愛(ài)國(guó)是我們的本分，也是職責(zé)，是心之所系、情之所歸。
By travelling in a time machine, we can examine history and observe a surge of patriotism. It was a difficult but passionate time. The admiration and moving emotions of students should not only take place on days like national day. Patriotism is our duty, but not only our duty, patriotism should also take a place in our hearts and feelings.
第二篇章：愛(ài)長(zhǎng)輩
Chapter 2: Loving Elders
每個(gè)孩子的生命中，都會(huì)遇到這樣一群人，他們頭發(fā)漸白，行動(dòng)漸慢，卻能小心照料我們的生活；總愛(ài)講很久很久以前的故事，卻能在團(tuán)聚時(shí)默默準(zhǔn)備飯菜；
一次次教導(dǎo)我們?cè)鯓幼鋈俗鍪?，卻又一次次把闖禍的我們護(hù)在身后......在他們眼中，我們是獨(dú)一無(wú)二的“小可愛(ài)”，而他們就是，我們的爺爺、奶奶、外公、外婆...
Every child will encounter elders. Their hair is becoming gray, and their movements are slowing down, but they add value to our lives and still take care of us. Elders love to tell us stories from long ago but also still silently prepare meals during a reunion. They teach us how to behave and work and protect us from trouble. In their eyes, we are unique and “cute". Elders are our grandparents, grandfathers, and grandmothers.
九九重陽(yáng)節(jié)是我們的傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日，寓意是“敬老”和“陪伴”，七年級(jí)的同學(xué)來(lái)到萬(wàn)科有山老人活動(dòng)中心為老人們送上一場(chǎng)精彩的文藝演出。
The Double Ninth Festival is our traditional festival, which means "respect for the elderly" and "company". With love, the seventh-grade students went to Vanke Youshan elderly activity center in October to present a wonderful literary performance for the elderly.
豐富多彩的傳統(tǒng)文化體驗(yàn)活動(dòng)在青浦協(xié)和學(xué)子心中烙下自豪的“中國(guó)印”。百善孝為先，希望孩子們常懷感恩之心，傳承中華美德。
The rich, colorful, and traditional cultural experiences have branded a proud "Chinese mark" on the hearts of Qingpu Xiehe students. Filial piety is the first seed to be planted in our hearts to give us happiness in life. I hope children will always be grateful and spread the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation from generation to generation!
