The style of this book is prose, and the main content is about the author's feelings towards their personal reading and media work and thus an expression of the author's personal views and feelings. The book is divided into four parts: "Night reading in the study", "Youth Brocade time", "Miscellaneous memories of teachers and friends" and "Media stories". Some reading notes are fragmented, offering both knowledge acquisition and emotional resonance for the reader, most suitable for fragmented reading. The book also explains the author's thinking in the process of reading, involving all aspects of their social life, such as travel notes, book reviews, historical notes, media development notes, and memories of relatives and friends. The whole manuscript is full of the author’s simple yet grand writing style.

What is stopping you from having a great career?
The answer, quite probably, is you. After all, it is so easy to settle for the dull but safe, or to allow yourself to become trapped in a career you dislike, or to persuade yourself that the job you really want is out of your reach. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
In No Fears, No Excuses, renowned ‘career whisperer’ Professor Larry Smith shows you precisely how to secure a great future. Building on his hugely popular TEDx talk, ‘Why You Will Fail to Have a Great Career’, he shows why people so often get stuck on the wrong path. He then takes you step by step from that initial point when you are considering your options to the moment when you pitch for that perfect job – showing you exactly what decisions you need to make, and when.
Whether you are starting out, looking to move up, or hoping to change direction altogether, this book will guide you towards a happier, more fulfilled career – now.
All Grades
[Korea] Suzy Lee
Shelf Number:1F-0767
Line describes two stories that take place at the same time and location but in two different worlds - the world of ice skating and the world of drawing. In the form of a wordless book, the author naturally integrates the two stories and presents the brilliance of the two different worlds at the same time. Readers can tell when the artist is changing the storyline by the crinkled sketch paper and erasure mark illustrations.
Through drawings alone, the message, ‘though everyone falls it is important to get back up and try again’, is delivered flawlessly. Most of the pages of this book have a white background and gray lines, with only a small amount of color embellishment on the characters' clothes. Even so, it does affect the warmth that this story brings to the readers' heart.
Book 4 The Fox and The Star
Grade Level:G1-G5
作者 Author:Coralie Bickford-Smith
Publisher:Penguin Books
Shelf Number:1F—1515
The Fox and the Star is the story of a friendship between a lonely Fox and a Star that guides him through a frightfully dark forest. With the forest illuminated by the Star's rays, the Fox forages for food, runs with the rabbits, and dances in the rain - until the Star suddenly goes out and life changes, leaving the Fox huddling for warmth in the unfamiliar dark. To find his missing Star, the Fox must embark on a wondrous journey beyond the world he knows, a journey lit by courage, newfound friends, and just maybe, a star-filled new sky. This is a spiritual fable about loss and gain, loneliness and hope.
The binding design of this book imitates the clay gold decorative manuscripts of the middle ages and adopts a cloth hardcover. With its cover illustrations, the author attempts to pay tribute to the poet and printmaker William Black and the craftsman and poet William Morris. Readers can also enjoy the beauty of Victorian book binding.
