美國威力塔斯學(xué)校北京校區(qū)喜迎國慶暨第五屆秋季運動會

70年強國征程波瀾壯闊，70年滄桑巨變舉世矚目。在這舉國歡慶的日子里，威力塔斯喜迎國慶暨第五屆秋季運動會（第一季體育周）隆重舉辦。開幕式上Kelsor校長鼓勵大家努力拼搏、賽出風(fēng)格、賽出成績。全體學(xué)生精神抖擻，斗志昂揚，積極進取，用自己的方式向祖國送上最真摯的祝福！
In the past 70 years, China has embarked on a remarkable journey to become a powerful country.During the national celebration days, Veritas has held the fifth autumn sports meeting (First season sports week). On the opening ceremony, the foreign principal Mr Kelsor encouraged everyone to work hard, showing a noble style with good grades. All the students were full of energy, high morale, positive progress, and they wanted to use their own ways to send the most sincere blessing to our motherland !
崢嶸70載與國同夢
開幕式結(jié)束后，緊張、激烈的比賽項目有序展開。體育周的賽事分成3天進行。第一天為拔河比賽和趣味項目；第二天為足球比賽；第三天進行籃球比賽。第一天趣味項目有拔河、障礙跑、大網(wǎng)撈魚及個人體力項目。障礙跑道上，一個個風(fēng)馳電掣的身影引起同學(xué)們陣陣尖叫，設(shè)置的問答環(huán)節(jié)考驗了孩子們的知識儲備，事實證明威校孩子們體力和智力雙在線。拔河賽場上歡樂聲最多，師生配合分為六組，比賽實行淘汰制晉級方式，激烈場面和歡樂程度請看圖腦補（當然還要感謝現(xiàn)場啦啦隊，吶喊助威聲此起彼伏，集體榮譽感油然而生）！
After the opening ceremony, the competition began in an orderly manner. Sports week was divided into three days.The tug-of-war and interesting projects were held on the first day; The football match was held on the second day ; The basketball match was held on the third day. Interesting projects included the tug-of-war, steeplechase,net fish and individual physical project.When it comes to the steeplechase, lightning figures caused the students burst into screams; The questions session tested the children's knowledge reservation, whcih has proved that our children are both physically and mentally strong.The tug-of-war was the most joyful part, as teachers and students were divided into six groups, while the competition was carried out through elimination promotion system.The intensity of the scene and the level of joy are shown in the picture, please check by yourself (of course, we want to give thanks to the cheerleaders, that the collective sense of honor arises spontaneously with shouting cheers)!
綠茵場點亮夢想
籃球館青春飛揚
9月28日校園足球賽拉開了帷幕。隨著裁判的一聲哨響，比賽正式開始。在拉拉隊的加油聲中，在球隊隊員的激情配合下，比賽很快進入膠著狀態(tài)。足球課是今年剛引進的體育校本課，隊員們已經(jīng)在外教教練的指導(dǎo)下取得了很大的進步。雙方隊員們運用自己平日所學(xué)、拼勁十足，將球多次帶入對方禁區(qū)，師生配合默契、成功得分。
The school football match was held on September 28. With the referee’s whistle, the game officially began. The match came into a stalemate situation quickly with the filling sound from the cheering squad. The football lesson was just introduced to the physical school-based lesson this year, the players have made great progress under the guidance of the foreign coach. The players of both sides used what they have learnt in daily life and made full efforts to bring the ball into the other side's penalty area for many times.Teachers and students cooperated well to get scores successfully!
9月29日在籃球館舉行了校園籃球聯(lián)賽，比賽一開始，各隊隊員采取主動出擊，隊員之間互相配合傳球，直逼籃板。每個隊員都頑強拼搏，絲毫不放松每一次進攻機會，隊員們用各式各樣的籃球技巧和精準的投籃為球隊爭得了一分又一分。本次籃球賽不僅賽出了學(xué)生的競技水平，更重要的是賽出了團結(jié)合作和勇于拼搏的體育精神。
On September 29, the campus basketball league match was held in the basketball hall. At the beginning of the game, all the team members took the initiative and passed the ball to the backboard.Each team member fought tenaciously to seize every offensive opportunity,and they used a variety of basketball skills and accurate shooting to win points for the team.This basketball match not only showed the students’ competitive level,but also showed the spirit of unity, cooperation and fighting.
健康的體魄是學(xué)習(xí)、奮斗的基石，是報效國家的基本條件。威校對體育非常重視，希望孩子們領(lǐng)略體育的魅力，展示了當代學(xué)生蓬勃向上的青春氣息和無限活力！少年強則國強！

祖國70年崢嶸歲月、70年光輝歷程，振奮國人、感染全體師生。10月9日晚威校組織開展愛國主義教育觀影活動，集體觀看國慶獻禮影片《我和我的祖國》，認真撰寫自己的觀后感言。這是一部珍貴的彩色影像檔案，影片回望新中國成立70年來全民的共同回憶，帶著孩子們走進新中國成立至今發(fā)生的七個關(guān)鍵的歷史事件， 讓孩子們更加深刻地了解中國共產(chǎn)黨的奮斗歷史和優(yōu)良作風(fēng)，體悟了不懈奮斗、砥礪前行的偉大精神，激發(fā)了同學(xué)們愛國奮進的熱情，決心以實際行動努力學(xué)習(xí)，未來在不同的領(lǐng)域報效祖國！
70 memorable years, 70 glorious years of the motherland, which has inspired all the people including all teachers and students.
