3月11日下午三點半，NACIS全校師生用時6小時完成全校2000余名學(xué)生的全員核酸檢測工作，而僅僅一個小時后，我市中小學(xué)全部調(diào)整為線上教學(xué)的緊急通知隨之而來。

在過去兩年的時間里，上海諾德安達(dá)已為在線學(xué)習(xí)做好了完備的應(yīng)急預(yù)案，并時刻準(zhǔn)備著突發(fā)情況的產(chǎn)生。因此，當(dāng)我們收到指令之時，學(xué)校管理層迅速響應(yīng)，隨即便開始了諾德安達(dá)VSE（虛擬課堂）的啟動準(zhǔn)備。
汲取了兩年前的經(jīng)驗，加之對在線教學(xué)服務(wù)進(jìn)行了不斷的優(yōu)化與更新，我們相信將為學(xué)生提供高質(zhì)量的學(xué)習(xí)體驗。

What Happened After Offline Classes Were Suspended?
NACIS的老師和各部門第一時間緊急投入了籌備工作，以確保線上教學(xué) (VSE)能夠順利開展。
管理團(tuán)隊做出了迅速的響應(yīng)與部署，在線教學(xué)指引、家長會的部署，每一個環(huán)節(jié)都經(jīng)過了精心的設(shè)計。周六晚上，各學(xué)部結(jié)合學(xué)生的自身特點，在線召開家長會，向家長傳達(dá)了線上課堂的具體安排、學(xué)習(xí)要求及健康學(xué)習(xí)的宣講。
所有NACIS老師都利用周末時間進(jìn)行了課程準(zhǔn)備，保證所有課程都與NACIS的學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)保持一致與連貫。中學(xué)部六年級語文備課組在短短周末兩天已在線開展了兩次教研活動——所有學(xué)科的老師都在為每一堂課做著充分的準(zhǔn)備，大家都深知如何讓自己成為一名讓孩子喜歡，讓家長信任的老師。
IT團(tuán)隊更是投入了大量的時間進(jìn)行技術(shù)的準(zhǔn)備、啟動與支持，并完成了全校93個班級的課表設(shè)置檢查工作。周末兩天時間，IT 部門共接待了600多封郵件咨詢，電話回復(fù)了400多位家長。
正因為學(xué)校各部門間的高效運作，保障了200余名名教師、2000余名學(xué)生的在線教與學(xué)的順利進(jìn)行。

VSE STARTS SMOOTHLY:
ATTENDING CLASSES WITH PETS!
遵循正常教學(xué)時間的在線課程于周一全面展開。Teams平臺作為教師們授課的主要平臺，電子課表早早地就躺在了學(xué)生的課程系統(tǒng)里。除此之外，老師們也將通過Firefly、ManageBac等工具，傳輸學(xué)習(xí)素材、作業(yè)、評價等。教學(xué)活動一切井然有序。
周一早上八點二十分，孩子們準(zhǔn)時在空中課堂報到。有趣的是，晨間簽到環(huán)節(jié)有一群特殊的小伙伴。原來，老師們帶著自己的寵物一起和學(xué)生問著早安，孩子們也紛紛邀請自家寵物加入其中。疫情雖然拉遠(yuǎn)了時空，但是師生們地歡聲笑語卻把我們的心緊密相連。
成長于科技時代的孩子們，對于使用線上學(xué)習(xí)等科技軟件得心應(yīng)手。孩子們可以按照自己的節(jié)奏學(xué)進(jìn)行規(guī)劃與自主學(xué)習(xí)，同時軟件也能幫助老師即時捕捉到孩子的學(xué)習(xí)進(jìn)度，為培養(yǎng)孩子的技能提供支持和幫助，為個性化教學(xué)創(chuàng)造了更多的可能。
孩子們的自制每日課表
網(wǎng)課學(xué)習(xí)姐姐完全自主，今天有草間彌生主題的視覺藝術(shù)課，她的作品是波點藍(lán)鳥。妹妹除了語數(shù)外，還有音樂課打節(jié)奏學(xué)編曲，數(shù)學(xué)課跟老師數(shù)脈搏、體育課被外教表揚繩跳得好，STEAM為紙橋工程畫草圖，課間休息完成昨天藝術(shù)課修拉主題的點彩畫 。最后睡前工作是自己掃描上傳所有作業(yè)。
相比于兩年前，優(yōu)化之后的線上課堂更豐富，更有趣。不僅有語數(shù)外的直播，還增加了戲劇、藝術(shù)、體育和PSHE，讓孩子能更有積極性。

云課堂的護(hù)航者：
不斷優(yōu)化的教與學(xué)
CONTINUOUS OPTIMIZATION OF TEACHING AND LEARNING
云課堂階段，各學(xué)部學(xué)科管理團(tuán)隊老師巡課于各個線上班級，及時收集總結(jié)實戰(zhàn)中的各項突發(fā)問題。
中學(xué)部學(xué)習(xí)影響小組(Learning Impact Team)持續(xù)跟進(jìn)6-12年級的線上教學(xué)，以確保新出現(xiàn)的問題能迅速得到解決。于是我們也欣喜地看到了許多學(xué)生參與課堂以及師生互動的精彩瞬間。
每周三，管理層也和家委代表進(jìn)行線上會議，收集各年級家委對線上學(xué)習(xí)（VSE）的反饋意見，以便學(xué)校繼續(xù)調(diào)整、優(yōu)化線上教學(xué)，確保其更好地滿足學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)需求。年級組長每周還將與本年級班級家委進(jìn)行30分鐘的會議，保障與家長的有效溝通。
學(xué)校的藝術(shù)課程一直做得有聲有色，二年級通過修拉的點彩畫，讓小朋友學(xué)習(xí)顏色的調(diào)和與搭配。六年級繼續(xù)現(xiàn)當(dāng)代藝術(shù)的學(xué)習(xí)主題，最近的網(wǎng)課是研習(xí)草間彌生的波點藝術(shù)，并且要創(chuàng)作自己的波點藝術(shù)作品。
音樂課上，老師有線上教學(xué)和答疑時間，也有小作業(yè)布置。如果家里沒有鋼琴，也可以使用老師給的鏈接使用虛擬鍵盤來編曲。學(xué)生們通過視頻交作業(yè)，還可以遞交自己平時自己學(xué)習(xí)的情況，幫助老師更多了解學(xué)生在音樂方面的學(xué)習(xí)能力。

‘在線學(xué)習(xí)’ 也并不意味著只依靠電子設(shè)備完成學(xué)習(xí)，我們也會安排學(xué)生進(jìn)行一系列居家活動以保證他們的身心健康。

網(wǎng)課還是非?？简灪⒆拥淖月珊妥杂X。但我們覺得還是很有必要的，因為線上學(xué)習(xí)是一個很大的趨勢，這兩年大學(xué)生們在疫情下的網(wǎng)課學(xué)習(xí)中也不斷接受身心上巨大的挑戰(zhàn)。因此我希望我的孩子要學(xué)會指定自己學(xué)習(xí)、鍛煉和休息的計劃，保證學(xué)習(xí)效果的同時，樹立起健康生活的習(xí)慣，并保持積極的心態(tài)。

We spent six hours on the nucleic acid testing for all staff and over 2000 students on March 11. Afterwards, all primary and secondary schools in Shanghai received an urgent notice to move to their Virtual School Experience (VSE).
In the past two years, NACIS Shanghai has prepared a complete emergency plan for Virtual School Experience. After receiving the notice, our leadership team implemented final preparations for the move to VSE. Based on the experience we had two years ago and the continuous optimization and updating of VSE, we know that we can provide students with a high-quality learning experience until we are able to return to the campus.

What Happened After Offline Classes Were Suspended?
NACIS teachers and all departments finalised the preparations immediately to ensure that VSE could be implemented smoothly.
Our leadership team shared the online teaching guidelines and arranged parent meeting to ensure parents understood our provision. On Saturday evening, both Primary and Secondary held online parent meetings based on the needs of the age of both sets of students. They also shared the specific arrangements, learning requirements and effective learning methods with parents.
All NACIS teachers spent time over the weekend on the final preparation for online teaching to ensure the consistency of the learning objectives of all subjects. The G6 Chinese lesson preparation team carried out two teaching and research activities online over the weekend. All subject teachers prepared well for each class so that their great classroom teaching would move effortlessly to VSE.
Our IT team spent a lot of time in the final technical preparation and completed the inspection of the timetable settings for 93 classes. In the two days over the weekend, our IT department received more than 600 inquiries by email and responded to over 400 parents by phone. The efficient operation ensured the smooth process of VSE of more than 200 teachers and 2,000 students.
There are no heroes from the sky, but people who work hard.

Online classes, following our normal teaching hours were in full swing on Monday. We uploaded electronic timetables into the students’ curriculum system on the main teaching platform: Teams. In addition, teachers can also share learning materials, assignments, evaluations, etc. through tools such as Firefly and ManageBac. All teaching activities are going very smoothly.
At 8:20 in the morning on Monday, the children start classes promptly. In the morning registration session, some teachers said good morning to students with their pets, and students also invited their pets to join in classes. Although the epidemic has separated us from each other, the happy laughter from teachers and students have kept us closely connected.
Students who grew up in the age of technology are good at using software. They can plan and learn independently at their own pace. Teachers can know students’ learning progress through software, provide support and help for cultivating skills, and create more possibilities for personalised teaching.
Self-made timetables
Sister is completely independent in online learning. In the visual art class on the theme of Yayoi Kusama, she created a work Polka Dot Blue Bird. The younger sister had also many classes including Chinese, Maths and English. She played rhythm and arrangement in music class and counted her pulse with the teacher in her maths class. In her PE class, she was praised by the international teacher for her good rope jumping. She drew sketches for the paper bridge project in STEAM class, and finished painting work during break. Before going to bed, she scanned and uploaded all homework by herself.
Compared with that of two years ago, the optimized virtual school experience is more plentiful and interesting. In addition to Chinese, Maths and English, we also have drama, art, sports and PSHE classes, so that children can be more motivated.

CONTINUOUS OPTIMIZATION OF TEACHING AND LEARNING
During online teaching, the subject leaders visit each online class, collect and summarize various emergent problem. The Secondary Learning Impact Team continues to follow up on online teaching for Years 6-12 to ensure emerging issues are solved quickly. We are also delighted to see many wonderful moments of students participating in classes and the interaction between teachers and students.
Every week, the leadership team will also hold an online meeting with the PSG members to collect feedback of each grade on the Virtual School Experience so that we can continue to adjust and optimize online teaching and meet the learning needs of students. Each week, the grade leader will also hold a 30-minute meeting with the PSG members of each grade to ensure effective communication with parents.
The art classes are impressive. Through the painting work, the grade 2 students learn the harmony and matching of colours. The grade 6 students continue to learn modern and contemporary art. In the recent online class, students study Yayoi Kusama's polka dot art, and create their own work. In music class, teachers have online teaching and Q&A session, as well as homework assignments. For students who don't have a piano at home, they can also use the virtual keyboard to compose the music by the link provided by teachers. Students can submit their homework or daily learning outcomes through video, so that teachers can know more about their learning ability in music.

Health and well-being of children is vital to us. Our PSHE team is committed to ensuring that PSHE education is integrated into subject curriculums. Online learning does not mean that we complete learning tasks through electronic devices. Therefore, we have arranged a series of home activities for students to ensure their physical and mental health.

In addition to academic learning, students are also active in daily life. Some students played on a horizontal bar in their rooms, girls put on their own tutu and danced gracefully, and boys did push-ups on the yoga blanket with classmates in their respective spaces around Shanghai.
