CAREER EDUCATION
NACIS為中學(xué)階段的學(xué)生提供專業(yè)的升學(xué)生涯啟蒙及指導(dǎo)課，從“為什么要出國？”出發(fā)，讓學(xué)生充分了解自身愛好和所長、探索各種專業(yè)選擇、確立自己未來可能承擔(dān)的角色和責(zé)任。
本學(xué)期，學(xué)校引入專業(yè)的Kuder測試系統(tǒng)，幫助學(xué)生初步了解自己的職業(yè)興趣。在不久前成功舉辦的NACIS首屆年度“職業(yè)日”中，學(xué)生和來自各行各業(yè)的精英家長“前輩”深度溝通，探索不同職業(yè)領(lǐng)域；后期，諾德安達(dá)也會為學(xué)生匹配更多優(yōu)質(zhì)的實(shí)習(xí)機(jī)會。

創(chuàng)校六年來，NACIS始終保持100%IBDP通過率，全體畢業(yè)生均被IBO組織授予了雙語文憑。在2021屆畢業(yè)生中，我們?nèi)〉昧?38分（總分為 45分）的平均分，為創(chuàng)校以來的最高平均分，且42%的學(xué)生取得了40以上的高分。
今年，25位準(zhǔn)畢業(yè)生已經(jīng)收獲了70余枚offer及近40萬人民幣獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金。作為NACIS首批創(chuàng)校畢業(yè)生，他們展現(xiàn)出了上海諾德安達(dá)在個(gè)性化教學(xué)上的累累碩果。

A SPECIAL CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION
豐富的校園生活不僅能給學(xué)生留下美好的回憶，更是在潛移默化中扎實(shí)能力的培養(yǎng)。我們用PBL的教學(xué)模式幫助學(xué)生提升習(xí)得的知識，獲取新技能，獲得解決復(fù)雜問題的能力。
開學(xué)之初的國際文化日中，學(xué)生們參與了一場“犯罪現(xiàn)場調(diào)查”，他們利用科學(xué)知識和英語技能來尋找綁架NACIS公羊的“罪犯”。在三天的破案之旅中，學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)了指紋分析、鞋印分析、血型識別、DNA分析、毛發(fā)分析和色譜分析；并檢查了包括勒索信、電子郵件、日記和書面審訊記錄在內(nèi)的英文證據(jù)，以及學(xué)生的證詞。并在活動(dòng)的最后一天展示案件分析。被選為檢察官的學(xué)生，也在“法庭”中為全體師生展現(xiàn)一場精彩的全英文“審判”。

我們相信表演藝術(shù)將幫助學(xué)生展現(xiàn)自信與創(chuàng)造力，體育賽場上的磨練將增進(jìn)學(xué)生的團(tuán)隊(duì)協(xié)作及領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力。在NACIS，我們通過一系列表演藝術(shù)及體育賽事活動(dòng)，例如藝術(shù)節(jié)、音樂會、學(xué)生戲劇、體育聯(lián)賽等活動(dòng)來為學(xué)生創(chuàng)造展現(xiàn)自我及并肩協(xié)作的機(jī)會。對于孩子來說，都是不可多得的成長機(jī)會，是延展生命的另一種途徑。和伙伴們?nèi)橥度氲叵硎芗w創(chuàng)作、共度難關(guān)的過程，教育的目的已經(jīng)達(dá)到。

上海諾德安達(dá)可為450+學(xué)生提供寄宿，完備且溫馨的環(huán)境及人文關(guān)懷給學(xué)生帶了“家“的溫馨。在寄宿生活中，我們希望孩子在更多的時(shí)間和空間中，學(xué)會自律與自立，擁有更大的自由度和創(chuàng)造性。我們的寄宿部主管Peter先生在教育領(lǐng)域工作近30年，先后在 7 所學(xué)校擔(dān)任管理崗位，職業(yè)軌跡遍布英國、瑞士、越南、阿聯(lián)酋和泰國等。

Virtual Open Day For Secondary Students
During the first Open Day last week, we received a lot of inquiries from prospective families. According to feedback, we found that secondary students’ families have higher demands for key information such as academic performance, boarding and graduates.
As the key time for school selection is approaching, we will hold a special Open Day for secondary students on Sunday March 27, in order to allow prospective families to have a more comprehensive understanding of the secondary teaching and learning at NACIS Shanghai. The Lower Secondary curriculum, based around the CNC but with international elements prepares our students for studying the IB Diploma. The courses are designed to give examination and skills practise that they will use once they start the IBDP.

COMPETITIONS
It is not enough for students to obtain excellent scores in a single subject, they need to think in a multi-dimensional way. Students have the excellent opportunity to demonstrate these abilities in competitions.
In the recently announced regional competition results of National Economics Challenge (NEC) NACIS secondary students won ten awards including individual gold and silver awards, regional team bronze award, and economics education rookie school award. Lillian, who has performed outstandingly in global competitions such as the World Scholar’s Cup, won the national individual total score bonus and the highest score in macroeconomics in the country. Our students also performed excellently in Business Professionals of America (BPA), winning the National Team Silver Award and the Regional Team Gold Award. They have maintained stable and excellent results in international competitions such as the World Scholar’s Cup, the Duke of Edinburgh Award Challenge, and the Global Campus Online Musician.

At NACIS Shanghai, our teachers understand the individual needs of students and use student assessment data and classroom performance to ensure they can challenge each student. The More Able Program provides many challenging learning opportunities for students who need further extension and expansion in their studies. During this semester, we have designed a variety of learning challenges and community activities for gifted students. Students can complete individual and team exploration projects through the learning challenges.
The English Team provides students with learning tasks such as advanced reading and speech contests. In the science club, students use copper sulfate crystals and anhydrous copper sulfate to improve experimental research. In the maths club, students can broaden their horizon and thinking ability through the past exam papers of Hua Luogeng Cup and Zu Chongzhi Cup Challenge yourself.

NACIS Shanghai provides professional career counselling and guidance courses for secondary students. Starting from "Why go abroad?”, we introduced a professional Kuder test system to help students gain a preliminary understanding of their career interests. During our annual "Career Day", students had a deep communication with elite parents from all walks of life. We also provide high-quality internship opportunities for students. We believe that every student who graduates from NACIS Shanghai can gain excellent self-awareness, have the ability to choose a university major and apply for an internship in the future.

GOOD NEWS FROM THE FOUNDING STUDENTS
In the six years since NACIS Shanghai was founded, three groups of graduates have successfully graduated with excellent grades. So far, 100% of our IB diploma students have passed and achieved their diploma granted by the IBO organization in recognition of their outstanding bilingual ability. Our class of 2021 achieved an average score of 38 out of 45, our highest average score since the founding of our school. 42% of students achieved above 40 points or higher.
This year, 25 prospective graduates have received over 70 offers and a scholarship of RMB 400,000. As the first group of founding graduates, they have demonstrated the fruitful personalised learning achievements at NACIS Shanghai.

A SPECIAL CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION
During the colourful school life, students not only gain good memories, but also cultivate a solid ability. We help students acquire knowledge, develop new skills, and gain the ability to solve complex problems through thematic teaching model.
On the International Culture Days, students in Grades 6-7 participated in a "crime scene investigation", using scientific knowledge and English skills to find the "criminal" who kidnapped the NACIS rams. During the three-day crime-solving journey, students learned about fingerprint analysis, shoe print analysis, blood typing, DNA analysis, hair analysis, and chromatography. They also checked the evidence including extortion letters, emails, diaries, and written interrogation records, as well as student testimony, and presented case analysis on the last day of the event. The students who were selected as prosecutors also demonstrated a wonderful "trial" in English for all teachers and students in the "court".

At NACIS Shanghai, we believe that students can develop confidence, creativity, team spirit and leadership through performing arts and sports. Therefore, we create a series of performing arts and sport events for students to demonstrate themselves and work together such as festivals, concerts, dramas, and competitions. It is a great opportunity and way for them to grow up and extend their lives. We have achieved the purpose of education while seeing them enjoying the process of collective creation and overcoming difficulties with partners. We recently partnered with BISS Puxi, a Nord Anglia International School in a stunning joint performance by 150 of our students and 150 of theirs.

NACIS Shanghai can provide boarding facility for over 450 students. The warm environment and humanistic care makes students feel "at home". In boarding life, we hope students can learn to be self-disciplined and independent and have greater freedom and creativity. Mr. Peter, Head of Boarding, has been working in the field of education for nearly 30 years. He has been in leadership positions in 7 schools all over the UK, Switzerland, Vietnam, UAE and Thailand.
