馬來西亞世紀大學成立于1977年，第一間Systematic學院坐落在吉隆坡市中心，以提供專業(yè)資格為主。
2008年，世紀獲得馬來西亞高等教育部MQA頒發(fā)的證書，升格為大學。從學院升格為大學是一個質(zhì)的提升，他的基本要求有學校規(guī)模，課程的廣泛程度，學生人數(shù)，教師人數(shù)，教師中的碩士，博士人數(shù)等。至此，世紀可以提供自己的本科及碩士學位，為學生提供更多求學選擇。
除世紀本身課程外，世紀大學集團首都吉隆坡校區(qū)、梳幫再也校區(qū)還與國外多間大學合作：英國阿伯德鄧迪大學、英國桑德蘭大學、英國格林威治大學、英國東倫敦大學、英國蒂賽德大學、澳洲南昆士蘭大學、英國謝菲爾德大學、美國上愛荷華大學、英國《蒙特利梭》中心。
學校特色
1、所獲學位受到國內(nèi)教育部留學服務中心認證，中國教育部認可，學生可在中國教育部涉外監(jiān)管網(wǎng)查詢學校資質(zhì)，2003年吉隆坡校區(qū)（母校吉隆坡世紀學院）和2010年KD校區(qū)（哥打白沙羅世紀大學）先后被中國教育部列入推薦中國學生就讀的國外大學名單。
2、出國留學學時最短：馬來西亞世紀大學集團各校區(qū)采用學分轉移的方式，將國內(nèi)半年四個學分的課程直接在成績單上體現(xiàn)，歸國認證時教育部默認所有課程均在馬來西亞學習，節(jié)省在國外學習的時間。
3、通過率高：考核環(huán)節(jié)會綜合平時的表現(xiàn)，利用作業(yè)結合考試的形式考核。畢業(yè)論文提前半個月的時間讓學員撰寫，不用參加答辯，由院方批審，予以畢業(yè)。
4、入學門檻低：馬來西亞世紀大學集團各校區(qū)需要5.5分雅思成績或無需雅思成績。
