緊鑼密鼓的線上課程也沒有阻擋學(xué)生們參加各類競(jìng)賽活動(dòng)的熱情，我們陸續(xù)收到China Thinks Big全球華人創(chuàng)新研究大挑戰(zhàn)以及USAD美國(guó)學(xué)術(shù)十項(xiàng)全能賽組委會(huì)發(fā)來的獲獎(jiǎng)函，恭喜上海德英樂學(xué)院學(xué)生獲得相關(guān)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)!

China Thinks Big全球華人創(chuàng)新研究大挑戰(zhàn)

在剛過去不久的CTB全國(guó)賽中，SDA的兩只隊(duì)伍共計(jì)10位學(xué)生分別獲得了全國(guó)賽Top  5%及Top50%，直接晉級(jí)了全球總決賽。她們分別是：Christina Lao、William Wu、Harry Zhang、Sherry Pan、Todd Fu、Mandy Wu、Eliza Zhou、Janet Zheng、Krystal Yang.

USAD美國(guó)學(xué)術(shù)十項(xiàng)全能比賽

2020年度的USAD也在上周末拉下了帷幕，我校共計(jì)一只隊(duì)伍參賽，最終斬獲一金兩銀一銅的成績(jī)，參賽的同學(xué)有：Sophie Yang、Christina Lao、 Liz Li、 Elain Zhang、William Wu、Roger Wang、Mandy Wu、Yuri Xiu、Serena Wang，同時(shí)恭喜：

William Wu 寫作--銀獎(jiǎng)

Christina Lao 演講--金獎(jiǎng)/面試--銀獎(jiǎng)/藝術(shù)--銅獎(jiǎng)

這是我第二次參加USAD，也是第一次帶隊(duì)參賽。去年參加USAD結(jié)束之后，下定了決心來年再戰(zhàn)，所以我來了。

對(duì)于我來說，USAD不僅僅是一次比賽，更是一種珍貴的學(xué)習(xí)體驗(yàn)。十門課的跨學(xué)科學(xué)習(xí)使我們?nèi)轿坏牧私庖患虑?，并融匯貫穿每一門課中所學(xué)到的知識(shí)。即使沒有學(xué)習(xí)全部的學(xué)科，我們依然能夠從自己喜歡的學(xué)科中學(xué)習(xí)到更多，更全面的內(nèi)容。

作為USAD Chapter Leader，我很高興與另外七位學(xué)生一同參與了USAD 2020。在這漫長(zhǎng)的準(zhǔn)備過程中，大多數(shù)的學(xué)生都積極地參與了學(xué)習(xí)seminar和自主學(xué)習(xí)，為USAD比賽付出了珍貴的時(shí)間和精力。

作為隊(duì)長(zhǎng)，也作為和大家一同走完USAD全程的成員，很榮幸與大家走完了艱難的一程，我衷心地為參加了本屆USAD的選手們感到驕傲。

無論這次是否拿到了獎(jiǎng)，那些無數(shù)個(gè)熬夜禿頭的凌晨，肝了幾百頁(yè)reading而學(xué)到的知識(shí)，永遠(yuǎn)不會(huì)它們失去價(jià)值。

希望我們來年還能在USAD的賽場(chǎng)上相見。

This was my second time to participate in USAD, and it was the first time for me to be a leader of USAD Chapter in SDA. After joining the USAD last year, I made up my mind to fight again next year, so I came.

For me, USAD is not only a competition, but also a precious learning experience. The interdisciplinary study of ten courses enables us to understand one thing in all directions and to integrate the knowledge learned in each course. Even without learning the whole subject, we can still learn more from the subject we like, and try to learn the subject more holistically.

As a USAD Chapter Leader, I'm happy to join USAD 2020 with other seven students in SDA. Most of the students actively participated in the learning seminar and self-study during this long preparation process, and paid their precious time and energy for the USAD competition.

As a captain, as well as a member of the USAD team, it is a great honor to walk with the other seven students through the difficult journey. I'm sincerely proud of all the participants in the USAD2020.

Please remember that the time we spent, the knowledge we learnt, and the unique and precious learning experience we got will not lose their values no matter you have won a prize or not this time.

I hope we'll meet again in USAD next year.

對(duì)我來說，目前為止的CTB的經(jīng)歷呢，最有意義的可能就是能體驗(yàn)到一個(gè)“隊(duì)長(zhǎng)”的工作，或者說，作為一個(gè)團(tuán)隊(duì)的核心成員之一的感受。畢竟有著組織小隊(duì)的責(zé)任，以及在截止日期前動(dòng)員大家一起肝論文的義務(wù)—開個(gè)玩笑。雖然有時(shí)候會(huì)因?yàn)橐恍╊~外的責(zé)任感到辛苦，但記住的終歸是大家相互支持，共同努力的感動(dòng)。我也有幸通過這次競(jìng)賽更多地了解到小隊(duì)里的同學(xué)們，更深地了解到“團(tuán)隊(duì)”的意義。

As far until now, the biggest fortune this CTB experience has brought me, is the privilege of being the “captain”. That is, act as one of the essential members of a team. After all, I was given the responsibility to organise the team, and rush everyone to work before deadline—just kidding. Although there were times I feel stressed of the extra responsibilities, what I remember at last will always be the team supporting each other and endeavouring towards one mutual goal. I’ve also been given the opportunity of knowing my team better, knowing “team” better.

數(shù)月來的備賽是一路艱辛的長(zhǎng)跑。同時(shí)準(zhǔn)備兩場(chǎng)歷時(shí)長(zhǎng)且耗費(fèi)精力巨大的比賽，就是有些時(shí)候在宿舍一個(gè)人悶頭從九點(diǎn)備賽到十二點(diǎn)，備賽手冊(cè)翻了一頁(yè)又一頁(yè)，筆記寫了一張又一張紙，面對(duì)著成堆的資料卻總覺得來不及;也是雙休日趕完了課內(nèi)的作業(yè)，匆匆忙忙一邊整理行李箱，一邊花幾個(gè)小時(shí)修改幾萬字研究報(bào)告付出的心血。面對(duì)的不僅僅是隨之而來的壓力和緊迫感，還有課內(nèi)外時(shí)間安排上的沖突，和真正到了賽前的緊張與不安。所幸最終一切都值得，這段經(jīng)歷也讓自己成長(zhǎng)和感激。

Preparing for the competitions is a long and arduous journey, especially when it comes to prepare for two long and time-consuming contests. I can recall the moments that I stayed at the dorm and reviewed the materials from 9 to 12, when I hardly believed I could make it despite going through hundreds of pages and taking tons of notes; it feels the same way when I was packing my suitcase to the dorm and spending hours on revising the 20-page research report at weekends. It’s not only the pressure and sense of urgency that I face, but also the conflicts on my schedule with my schoolwork and extracurricular activities, as well as the anxiety before the really contest. Fortunately, in the end, everything is worth it. And this experience makes me grow and appreciate as well.
