上周，上海田家炳中學國際部文科組統(tǒng)一籌劃、精心準備，推出了5節(jié)公開課。老師們利用多種教學方法，呈現了上海田家炳中學國際部精彩的課堂。 This class focuses on mysteries of King Tut and explores the theories on his death. Students are expected to learn some new words and expressions in the context of history，analyze the text based on organizational structure and create a timeline of events with the help of signal words.
Besides, it aims to develop students’ productive skills of speaking by talking about the necessity of historical research. With the help of video clip and PPT slides，it centers around interactive learning.

本單元的主要話題為music，所以該堂課的導入部分采取了回顧前文內容的方法，通過邀請學生完成一份關于music好處的summary 來引出音樂可以幫助人提高智商這一觀點，即所謂的莫扎特效應。
在視頻學習中，通過設計各種類型的題目讓學生對視頻中的實驗過程和結論有更好的了解。最后，激發(fā)學生討論思考視頻中的這個實驗過程是不是有不合理的地方，進而引導學生去設計自己的實驗來檢驗莫扎特效應。 本節(jié)課是《Reading Explorer 3》教材中的一課關于美的定義。大家都追求美，但對于美的定義卻千差萬別。
本節(jié)課先學習核心詞匯，再分析文章結構，力求讓學生理解英文議論文的寫作手法。
在分析文章結構的過程中，我們運用“魚骨頭結構”來分析文章的論證過程，從而進一步理解文章背后想表達的意思。在此過程中，我們也運用同班同學的照片讓同學們大膽討論，讓議論的素材貼近同學們的生活，大家都有機會談論自己的想法。
