EachGrade Ushered in the "First Class"

　　2019年9月3日是北京市第五十五中學(xué)國際部學(xué)生部新學(xué)期上課第一天，為了讓同學(xué)們以更加飽滿的熱情投入到新學(xué)期的學(xué)習(xí)中,各年級結(jié)合自身特點與需求，分別開展了內(nèi)容豐富多彩的“開學(xué)第一課”活動。

　　September 3, 2019 is the first day of the new semester for the International Students Section. To prepare students for the new semester, each grade carried out a variety of "first class" activities according to the demands of the class.

　　預(yù)科年級及七年級的新生在老師的帶領(lǐng)下參觀了校園,了解了學(xué)校和年級的基本情況、場館設(shè)施等,讓同學(xué)們更快適應(yīng)新的校園生活,融入新的學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境。

　　Under the guidance of the teachers, the new students of the Han A class and grade 7 toured the campus, becoming familiar with the basic layout of the school and its facilities so that the students can quickly adapt and integrate into the school.

　　其他各年級根據(jù)各自情況進(jìn)行了語言課與數(shù)學(xué)課的分層考試，為今后開展學(xué)科分層教學(xué)做好準(zhǔn)備。同時，為了讓同學(xué)更加深入地了解IB課程理念，各年級還開展了MYPDP項目、CAS社區(qū)服務(wù)、個人設(shè)計、升學(xué)指導(dǎo)等主題講座。

　　Students took language and math examinations to assess their abilities and place them into the appropriate classes. Students were given an overview of the concepts of the IB courses, MYP/DP projects, CAS community service, personal design, study guides, and other topics.

　　“開學(xué)第一課”活動讓同學(xué)們樹立了本學(xué)年的學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)，幫助同學(xué)們更加順暢有效地迎接新學(xué)期的挑戰(zhàn)。

　　The activity of "the first lesson of the new semester" enables students to set their learning goals for this academic year and helps them meet the challenges of the new semester smoothly and effectively.
