　　近日，2021澳大利亞科學奧林匹克活動(JSOE)在線上及考點學校同時進行，北大附屬嘉興實驗學校同文部學子踴躍參與，從全國超過160所國際學校和重點學校的近700名參賽者中脫穎而出，斬獲優(yōu)異成績！

　　其中，G10B Fred朱鴻暢同學榮獲大賽二等獎，Jordan劉章龍，James黃明宇獲得大賽三等獎。這也為我校在科學學科競賽方面再添佳績！

關(guān)于澳大利亞科學奧林匹克活動

　　澳大利亞科學奧林匹克?(Australian Science Olympiads) 由澳大利亞科學創(chuàng)新學會(Australian Science Innovation, ASI) 主辦，其總部設(shè)立在澳大利亞國立大學。

　　該賽事由物理、化學、生物、地球與環(huán)境科學奧林匹克共同組成，旨在考查挑戰(zhàn)者解決科學難題的能力，以及對科學學科的興趣及創(chuàng)造力！在激發(fā)學生才智的同時，極大體現(xiàn)了科學豐富多彩并極有價值的學科特點。

　　這次科學競賽的獲獎，讓我不僅驚訝于自己在科學學科方面的潛力，更堅定了在未來學習中深入探索的決心！

　　盡管在一開始，我表現(xiàn)得不太自信，但隨著備賽的進行，在老師們的幫助下，我最終取得了滿意的成績！這都讓我的興趣倍增，也期待著在今后的學科競賽項目中，我可以有更出色的表現(xiàn)，取得更高的成績！

　　The Science department is proud to inform that Fred, James and Jordan of the international division of grade 10 had participated in ASDAN Juniour Science Olympiad Exam (JSOE), which was held on October 24th, 2021 and they were successfully able to secure second (Fred) and third rank (James and Jordan).

　　JSOE is hosted by Australian Science Innovations and is a comprehensive Olympiad exam which covers a variety of Science subjects and is designed to build students’ problem-solving ability and critical thinking in Subjcets like Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Earth Science.?

　　By participating in this exam and getting a rank, our students have very well reflected on these skills.

　　Well done Fred, James and Jordan and hope that you guys will not stop just here and look for more and motivate other students as well.

　　Way to go!

　　I’m impressed that Fred, Jordan and James have been recognised as the winner of JSOE competition. I admire their effort and curiosity in order to get a solid understanding of science concepts at this grade level especially in physics class. For instance, they will not move to the new topic if there is still misconception in solving the previous problem. Consequently they grow into resilient more than they realised.

　　I hope they can reflect on their achievement by stretching their mind to new ideas. Wish them success on the next project.?

　　科學學科教育一直以來都是學校、學生關(guān)心的焦點，學科賽事的開展及學生積極踴躍的嘗試、加入，也同樣反映出國際頂級 STEM 學科資源的重要性和必要性。
