天津格瑞思學(xué)校學(xué)子晉級率高達(dá)53%！SPBCN城市初賽海選成績正式公布

Spelling Bee is known as the “Olympiad” of English and this competition platform meets more than 30 million contestants across the world every year. For the spelling masters, it is a grand international English game, but also a valuable chance of competing, communicating and jointly growing with peers.
Preliminary competition in 2020
On the afternoon of October 23rd,
inside the school Grace held the city preliminary test of SPBCN for the new season. The students, under the guidance of their teachers, successfully started their own competitive events.
The preliminary test is the first step of the new season picking students by their performance of written examination in listening. The “registered constant's information” written on the exam paper will be recorded into the“SPBCN International English Spelling Competition Management System”.
Each city's organizing committee will send the promotion notice of selected constants to the school where they study. And the qualified constants are supposed to attend the city's secondary test in accordance with the requirements on the promotion notice.

On December 9th the results of SPBCN 2020 preliminary competition were officially announced, 47 students from primary school department and 22 students from middle school department of Grace Academy were successfully earned qualify for the second round of Spelling Bee of China!

In this preliminary competition, the top 35% of the results of each group in Tianjin district can be promoted to the second round, and the proportion of students in our school is as high as 53% !
Grace & SPBCN
Since last year Grace has been invited to be the preliminary test site to hold this city’s first test and also host the Tianjin final of SPBCN International English Spelling Competition for the season of 2019-2020. All of this opens for students the participation channel of SPBCN and brings to Grace the international competition atmosphere.
During the epidemic period, SPBCN x Baby, along with Grace, spoke up to the world the “voice for love”. And executive principal Ms. Zhang Jing calls on more children together to pay attention to this voice.
In the national final of SPBCN, Grace’s management group and Mr. Paul, one of our foreign teachers, were invited to attend the event. And Angola, also the foreign teacher of Grace, made a prologue speech as the Pronouncer of the national final.

We hope that every child of Grace could participate in such international competitions to improve English learning interest and ability while experiencing the intense competitive atmosphere. We look forward that the youth of Grace would embrace the world and climb on the top of international competitions.
Spelling Bee被譽(yù)為英語界的“奧林匹克”，每年有來自全球的3000多萬名選手登上這個英語競技舞臺。對于拼詞達(dá)人來說，這是一場盛大的英語國際賽事，更是一次與同齡人競技、交流、共同成長的寶貴機(jī)會！
10月23日下午，格瑞思在校舉行新賽季的SPBCN城市初賽海選活動，同學(xué)們在老師的指導(dǎo)下順利開啟自己的競技賽事之旅。
城市海選初選是選手們新賽季的啟程，學(xué)生在學(xué)校內(nèi)參加聽力的筆試。考生所填寫的初選考試試卷上的“注冊選手信息”將會作為該考生注冊的信息，錄入到“SPBCN國際英文拼詞大會管理系統(tǒng)”。
各城市組委會會將初選的晉級通知書，派送至學(xué)校發(fā)至?xí)x級的選手，晉級選手請按照通知書的要求參加城市復(fù)選的選拔。
成功晉級SPBCN復(fù)賽
12月9日，2020年度初選成績正式公布，我校小學(xué)部47人、中學(xué)部22人成功晉級SPBCN復(fù)賽！
本次初賽，各組別成績?nèi)信琶?5%可晉級復(fù)賽，天津格瑞思學(xué)校學(xué)生晉級比例高達(dá)53%！
Grace & SPBCN
自去年以來，我校受邀成為SPBCN初賽考點(diǎn)學(xué)校，舉行城市海選初選，承辦2019-2020年賽季SPBCN國際英文拼詞大會天津城市總決賽，為同學(xué)們開辟SPBCN拼詞大賽的參賽通道，并將國際賽事的競技氛圍帶入格瑞思。
在疫情期間，SPBCN x Baby 聯(lián)名格瑞思，向世界“為愛發(fā)聲”，執(zhí)行校長張靜女士呼吁更多的孩子們一起為愛發(fā)聲。
在SPBCN全國總決賽，格瑞思管理團(tuán)隊(duì)及外教Paul受邀出席活動，外教Angola作為全國總決賽的Pronouncer開場致辭。

我們希望，每個格瑞思的孩子都能夠參與到國際賽事之中，在學(xué)習(xí)提升英語學(xué)習(xí)興趣和能力的同時，感受到競技賽事的激烈氛圍。我們期待，讓格瑞思少年走向世界，登上國際賽事之巔峰！
