　　“九”為陽，九月九為“重陽”。作為中國的傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日，重陽節(jié)經(jīng)過了幾千年的歷史演化，其含義和節(jié)日風俗也在進行著變化。2012年，我國法律明確每年農(nóng)歷九月九為“老年節(jié)”，重陽節(jié)也越來越看重祭祖與敬老孝親。

　　 “9” is yang, and September 9 is“double yang”, which means Chung Yeung. As a traditional Chinese festival, Chung Yeung Festival has undergone thousands of years of historical evolution, and its meaning and festival customs are also undergoing changes. In 2012,China's law clarified that the 9th day of the lunar calendar is the “Old Age Festival”,and the Chung Yeung Festival is also increasingly valued for ancestor worship and respect for the elderly.

　　今年重陽節(jié)，嘉祥國際高中部的同學們用中英文舞臺劇的形式，演繹了重陽節(jié)幾千年風俗的變遷，讓大家走進中國傳統(tǒng)文化，走進重陽節(jié)背后的故事！

　　Our actors presented the history and development of Chung Yeung Festival by acting significant ancient event yesterday. Performance was in the form of combination in both English and Chinese, in order to set up the Chinese and foreign culture exchange platform.

　　本次舞臺劇以課堂小組討論進行開場，分享了“大廚”祖母，“貼心”祖父對自己的關(guān)愛！而穿插在本次舞臺劇中的，還有中國古代不同朝代在重陽節(jié)發(fā)生的故事。

　　The stage play started with a group discussion and shared the “good chef”, grandmother and “intimate” grandfather's love for himself! And interspersed in this stage play, there are stories of different ancient Chinese dynasties in the Chung Yeung Festival.

　　西漢時的宮人賈佩蘭稱：“九月九日，佩茱萸，食蓬餌，飲菊花酒，云令人長壽?！毕鄠髯源藭r起，有了重陽節(jié)求壽之俗。

　　In the Xihan Dynasty, there is a custom of pursuing longevity in Chung Yeung Festival.

　　魏晉時期的重陽節(jié)，曹丕約鐘繇享宴高會。

　　During the Wei and Jin Dynasties, there was a custom of enjoying chrysanthemum and drinking. The Chung Yeung Festival meeting has become a habit of drinking and appreciating chrysanthemums.

　　唐朝時期的重陽節(jié)，有插茱萸、登高等習俗。

　　In the Tang Dynasty, Chung Yeung Festival began to be officially celebrated. Since then, the court and the people celebrated festival together, and carry out a variety of customs, such as planting cornel, climbing.

　　在宋代，人們習慣在中國農(nóng)歷的9月8日和9月9日賞菊和舉辦盛宴，大多數(shù)宴會官員和貴族還保留了射箭習俗。平民則是人工制作琺瑯和菊花，互贈禮物。

　　 In the Song Dynasty, it was customary tohold a chrysanthemum and a light feast on the 8th and 9th. The festival also retains archery customs, but most of the banquets are near ministers and ancestral nobles. The civilians are artificially making enamel and chrysanthemums to give each other gifts.

　　明末清初時期，重陽節(jié)又稱為菊花節(jié)，延續(xù)了賞菊的風俗。

　　In late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. Chrysanthemum has always been loved by Chinese people.When Chung Yeung Festival (Chrysanthemum Festival) comes, people will approach it in various ways.
