　　We hope everyone is enjoying a pleasant summer despite all of the unusual aspects and restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The world will remember the 2020 year as one of the worst years of the current century. Covid-19 struck fast and hard, both school staff and students had to face unprecedented challenges, but we believe this situation made us better humans. Our success as a school comes from the effort of every single member of our community, therefore, we want to thank all of you for your unquestionable help, love, and support.

　　IMPORTANT: If you are outside the city, make sure you return to Shanghai BEFORE August 14th, 2020 in order to make a 14 days self-quarantine before the first day of school.

　　School is a messy environment; we ask that children wear comfortable, able to get messy clothing that is weather appropriate.

　　1 set of nap time bedding (1 flat sheet/1 light blanket/1 pillow/ 1 soft comfort toy)

　　1套午睡用具(1條蓋被/1條被子/1個枕頭/1個柔軟的玩具)

　　** Nursery children who are not toilet trained need to bring diapers/wet wipes/cream

　　** 還不會自己上廁所的幼齡兒童需另外準(zhǔn)備尿布/濕紙巾/潤膚霜

　　New ID Card

　　家長接送卡

　　It is the responsibility of each HQIS community member to wear a Staff ID, Parent ID, or Caregiver ID when entering the HQIS campus. Each Parent ID card or Caregiver ID card requires one picture of child and parent/caregiver. Both of the pictures will be shown on the Parent/Caregiver ID card. This promotes campus security by allowing all school personnel to easily identify individuals as a member of the school community.

　　當(dāng)家長進入校區(qū)內(nèi)時，必須佩戴家長接送卡或監(jiān)護人接送卡。卡片上將有接送人及學(xué)生各自的照片，這將作為您的身份證明以保證校內(nèi)安全。

　　Grandparents and ayi will use the caregiver ID. The Caregiver ID card must be applied by child’s parents with a completed Caregiver ID Card Application Form and his/her ID card copy submitted. You will also need digital photos of child and the caregiver for the Caregiver ID Card.

　　除父母以外的接送人，如祖父母或阿姨需使用監(jiān)護人接送卡。監(jiān)護人接送卡必須通過學(xué)生父母申請，需填寫完整的申請表并附上監(jiān)護人的身份證件復(fù)印件，同時將監(jiān)護人照片發(fā)送給學(xué)校。

　　New Vehicle Permit

　　The school will also use a new Vehicle Permit for students who will be picked-up and dropped-off by family vehicles (taxis are not allowed to enter the campus).

　　如您需要駕車進入學(xué)校來接送您的孩子，您需要申請車輛通行證。(請注意，出租車將不被允許進入校區(qū))

　　All the family vehicles shall follow the Traffic Safety Policy and Security guards' instruction when enter the school campus.
