Concord+拓展課程以六大維度為基礎(chǔ)，根據(jù)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣與能力開(kāi)設(shè)課程。無(wú)論是語(yǔ)言拓展方向的英語(yǔ)演講、英語(yǔ)辯論、LAMDA戲劇詩(shī)歌或音樂(lè)劇社，還是首飾時(shí)裝設(shè)計(jì)、扇面國(guó)畫(huà)等藝術(shù)審美類(lèi)課程；無(wú)論是3D游戲設(shè)計(jì)、未來(lái)發(fā)明家創(chuàng)客等創(chuàng)新思維類(lèi)課程，還是籃球、棒球、網(wǎng)球等孩子們最?lèi)?ài)的體育類(lèi)課程，康德雙語(yǔ)的每一位學(xué)生都能因循自己的熱愛(ài)，找到自己喜歡的課程參加。

與此同時(shí)，本學(xué)期的Concord+拓展課更打通了小學(xué)部與初中部間的銜接。例如，法語(yǔ)、日語(yǔ)等二外類(lèi)課程，孩子們得以能在最合適的時(shí)間接觸到第二外語(yǔ)，并能在升入中學(xué)部后根據(jù)自身水平、銜接對(duì)應(yīng)級(jí)別的班級(jí)，延續(xù)此前的學(xué)習(xí)；康德Concord+管弦樂(lè)團(tuán)在本學(xué)期已經(jīng)擁有了18名隊(duì)員，從小提琴、大提琴，到單簧管、小號(hào)，基本覆蓋了成團(tuán)的基礎(chǔ)架構(gòu)要求，Concord+還在小學(xué)部開(kāi)設(shè)了培育班，希望為樂(lè)團(tuán)培養(yǎng)輸送更多隊(duì)員。

其實(shí)，在課程中，老師不僅會(huì)通過(guò)人物外形設(shè)計(jì)、制作內(nèi)容明信片等形式，引導(dǎo)大家豐滿還原書(shū)中的人物性格，品味書(shū)中行文的精妙，更會(huì)通過(guò)布置閱讀任務(wù)和課堂小組討論、辯論，解析原著中厚重的時(shí)代背景，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的批判性思維。

在課程中，同學(xué)們也能自信地與老師根據(jù)文章內(nèi)容進(jìn)行探討，敢于輸出自己的觀點(diǎn)。有的同學(xué)在小組討論中還會(huì)串聯(lián)其他學(xué)科的知識(shí)，進(jìn)行跨學(xué)科思維互動(dòng)。
營(yíng)地探索 鍛煉身心
在Concord+的眾多選擇中，最令同學(xué)們期待的當(dāng)屬假期間舉辦的營(yíng)地活動(dòng)了。在暑假里，同學(xué)們盡情享受了夏天與陽(yáng)光。而在近期結(jié)束的冬日營(yíng)活動(dòng)中，同學(xué)們也在不同的主題營(yíng)地中探索了從科技到生活的各種知識(shí)，度過(guò)了一個(gè)充實(shí)的學(xué)術(shù)假期。
身心賦能冬日營(yíng)
在“身心賦能營(yíng)”中，大家了解了許多非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)的知識(shí)，還學(xué)會(huì)了制作香囊和花燈。“小小建筑師營(yíng)”的同學(xué)們圍繞“可持續(xù)綠色建筑”的主題進(jìn)行了研學(xué)，并思考建筑如何能創(chuàng)造更好的城市、生活和未來(lái)。在“樹(shù)屋建造營(yíng)”，大家在野外發(fā)揮了協(xié)作精神，從測(cè)量木材到搭建屋頂，一步一步完成了心目中的樹(shù)屋。

這個(gè)冬天，讓同學(xué)們難忘的還有“少年法餐營(yíng)”。披薩、烤雞、法式濃湯、意式奶凍......這些平時(shí)在餐廳菜單中常常會(huì)見(jiàn)到的美食是如何完成制作的？在冬日營(yíng)中，大家盡情體驗(yàn)了“大廚是如何煉成的”。
六年級(jí)的吳舟同和趙一帆同學(xué)表示：“原來(lái)大廚真的很難當(dāng)，除了要及時(shí)跟進(jìn)每個(gè)食材的準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間，還要仔細(xì)調(diào)味，并且要長(zhǎng)時(shí)間保持站立?！?七年級(jí)的陸韻晞和張小邇同學(xué)很開(kāi)心學(xué)會(huì)了制作更多料理：“平時(shí)在家里我們都不太做飯，這次學(xué)會(huì)了很多類(lèi)型的菜，也有機(jī)會(huì)把做好的成品帶回家，家人們都說(shuō)很好吃。我們感受到了美食傳遞的幸福?！?/p>
賽事舞臺(tái) 展示風(fēng)采
Concord+拓展課更為學(xué)生們提供了多元豐富的展示鍛煉機(jī)會(huì)。本學(xué)期，由小學(xué)部與中學(xué)部同學(xué)組成的康德Concord+管弦樂(lè)團(tuán)，登上了上音歌劇院的舞臺(tái)，在由黃浦區(qū)教育局主辦的“逐夢(mèng)新時(shí)代，永遠(yuǎn)跟黨走”主題音樂(lè)會(huì)上獻(xiàn)演。
通過(guò)小學(xué)部和中學(xué)部英語(yǔ)演講、英語(yǔ)辯論等語(yǔ)言拓展類(lèi)課程的系統(tǒng)性學(xué)習(xí)、訓(xùn)練，康德學(xué)子們還在本學(xué)期的“ESDP全國(guó)中小學(xué)生英語(yǔ)演講與辯論五項(xiàng)大賽”中取得了好成績(jī)，三年級(jí)鄧高娃、楊馥瑜同學(xué)、七年級(jí)黃晨哲同學(xué)分別獲得了小學(xué)組與初中組的一等獎(jiǎng)，并且在為下學(xué)期的英語(yǔ)辯論賽季作積極的準(zhǔn)備。

小學(xué)部參加“小小發(fā)明家”課的周藝遙同學(xué)在“第四屆全國(guó)青少年人工智能創(chuàng)新挑戰(zhàn)賽”中獲得二等獎(jiǎng)；參加“OM頭腦奧林匹克”課程的小學(xué)部和中學(xué)部同學(xué)組成聯(lián)合戰(zhàn)隊(duì)，大膽創(chuàng)新、積極協(xié)作，他們的《馬戲世界》項(xiàng)目，在剛剛公布的“2022年世界頭腦奧林匹克創(chuàng)新大賽”獲獎(jiǎng)榜單中，名列表演類(lèi)二等獎(jiǎng)，并將進(jìn)入國(guó)賽階段。
在上周，LAMDA戲劇課程的小學(xué)部和中學(xué)部的同學(xué)們，還參加了倫敦音樂(lè)戲劇學(xué)院London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art國(guó)際等級(jí)考試。LAMDA課程體系作為英國(guó)很多學(xué)校的素質(zhì)類(lèi)課程首選，不但可以提高學(xué)生的溝通能力、表現(xiàn)力、創(chuàng)造力等個(gè)人綜合能力，通過(guò)六至八級(jí)的學(xué)生也會(huì)在英國(guó)大學(xué)申請(qǐng)系統(tǒng)UCAS中獲得最多60分的加分。
在下個(gè)學(xué)期，Concord+拓展課還將組織參與DELF Junior法語(yǔ)考試、“全國(guó)青少年人工智能創(chuàng)新挑戰(zhàn)賽”、模擬聯(lián)合國(guó)大賽、ASDAN模擬商賽等多項(xiàng)賽事活動(dòng)。

In SCBS, we want our students to enjoy a wide variety of different experiences. The upgraded Concord+ Programme covers six areas of “Language”, “Humanity”, “Academics”, “Innovation”, “Arts” and “Sports”.
After one semester, our students could not only explore their interests at school but also further develop their academic skills and talents outside of school.
The Curriculum
Jewellery & Fashion Design student work
Starting this semester, our Concord+ Enrichment Programme added more courses in order to satisfy the needs of students of different ages. From language learning to computer science, from jewellery and fashion design, innovative thinking to various sports activities, SCBS students are able to find courses that match their interests.
At the same time, the enrichment courses also build the connection between our Primary School and Middle School. For example, courses like French and Japanese allow our pupils get used to a second foreign language. When they get into the Middle School, they can choose their suitable levels and continue to make progress. The Concord+ Orchestra now already has 18 members, and we also have instrument classes at the Primary School to educate more musicians for the team.

The following clay projects were made by students from “English Literature”. How could reading have connections with handicrafts?
In this class, the teacher not only guided students to read English novels but also wanted them to have further research and reflections on what they had read. The students had finished reading tasks including designing clothes for the characters and making postcards according to the content.

We hope to instruct our students to build up such reading skills. Meanwhile, our students were very confident to speak out their ideas to the teachers and share their ideas with their classmates.
The Camps
For our students, the most exciting option was probably the holiday camps. In the summer, they fully enjoyed the outdoor and sunshine. In the Winter Camps, our students explored a variety of topics in different camps and had a fulfilling academic holiday.
On-Campus Camp
During the on-campus camp, our students made scented sachets, which is a part of our cultural heritage by making sachets. In “Little Architects”, the students went on excursions to learn about sustainable architecture and discussed how buildings can make a better city.
Little Architects & Treehouse-building
For our students, the days in the “Chef Camp” must be one of the most remarkable memories of this winter. During the camp, they learned how to make traditional western cuisines and experienced the work of a chef.
G6’s Tony Wu and Ivan Zhao said that they thought cooking was easy, but it actually took a chef a lot of energy to prepare the food. G7’s Iris Lu and Emma Zhang said they were very happy to learn how to cook more dishes in the camp: “We seldom cook at home, but now we can help our parents in the future. We also took the dishes back home and shared them with our family. We felt the happiness when cooking.”
The Competitions
Concord+ also provides opportunities for our students to show their talents. In this semester, the Concord+ Orchestra made up of students from our Primary and Middle Schools went to the Shangyin Opera House and participated in the concert held by Huangpu Education Bureau.
Thanks to the systematic training on English speech and debates, in the recent ESDP competition, both of our Primary School pupils and Middle Scholl students won a number of prizes. G3’s Eva Yang and Valerie Yang and G7’s Zack Huang won the First Prize. They are also preparing for the next competition in spring.
Student work- The Circus World
G4’s Hannah Zhou won the Second Prize in the “Fourth National AI Challenge”. In the “Odyssey of the Mind”, seven of our Middle School students completed a drama called “The Circus World” and won the Second Prize of the 2022 World OM Competition.
In the past week, our students also participated in the LAMDA drama test. As the top choice for many British schools, LAMDA not only can enrich students’ communication skills and creativity, for students who can pass levels 6 to 8, they will receive 60 extra points in the UCAS system when applying for universities in the UK.
In the next semester, Concord+ will organise DELF Junior French tests, Model UN Competition and Entrepreneurship Competitions.
Concord+ aims to bring more innovative courses with quality to our students. We hope our students can be high achievers in various challenges!
