虎年伊始，迎著春的氣息，懷著對新學期的美好展望，帶著對全新校園生活的期許，康德雙語的同學們在本周迎來了開學日。
開學典禮
歡慶虎年新學期
開學當天，學校的老師們一早就位，嚴格落實疫情防控相關要求，對同學們進行了測溫、手部消毒，引導大家有序進入校園。
隨著五星紅旗的冉冉升起，康德雙語的同學們正式迎來了2022年的學習生活。我校執(zhí)行校長Dr. Oliver Kramer對同學們帶來了新學期寄語，期待同學們在全新的一年里充滿收獲，不斷進步。
“良辰美景多宏愿，圓月昭昭照九州”。元宵是辭舊迎新、歡聚團圓的時刻。在開學之初，康德師生們也迎來了元宵節(jié)慶祝活動。中學部各學院的院長團隊提早進行了校園布置，為回到校園的老師們送上了虎年的祝福。
元宵節(jié)不可或缺的活動之一當屬“猜燈謎”了。在午休時間，布置好燈謎的宣傳板前早已人頭攢動。大家熱情地和同學們探討著謎底。
答對謎題的同學可以獲得一份精美的文創(chuàng)獎品，而這些文創(chuàng)禮品的設計均來自于上學期在“校園文創(chuàng)設計大賽”中的獲獎作品。在一派熱鬧的景象中，同學們歡送了春節(jié)，開啟了新學期的生活。
教師培訓
課堂內外質量提升
為了進一步提升康德雙語教師隊伍的專業(yè)能力，在同學們返校前，我校全體老師們開展了教師培訓。在新學期，老師們將繼續(xù)貫徹我校學風，引領學生“追求學術卓越”。
同時，在義務教育階段的教學中，學校將繼續(xù)深入推進落實“雙減”政策，全面提升教育質量，提升課堂教學、作業(yè)管理、教學評價工作的效率。
我校教師也將注重教育教學工作的藝術性和創(chuàng)新性，不斷提升自己的專業(yè)水平，與其他老師友好合作，共同壯大康德的教師團隊。
在教學過程中，康德雙語的老師們將秉持鼓勵式教育理念，尊重學生個體的同時引導學生積極向上，引導同學們養(yǎng)成良好的行為習慣，促進學生成長，創(chuàng)造更為和諧美好的校園氛圍。
課程升級
高中升學指導課程
為了讓高中部同學們?yōu)楹罄m(xù)的海外大學申請進行做好更充分的規(guī)劃，從本學期開始，我校高中部升學指導課程將升級為College Guidance Curriculum。
針對十年級的同學，在課程中老師們將幫助大家確定適合自己的大學與意向專業(yè)，并在后續(xù)的學習中努力將自己打磨成符合其要求的申請人。
十一年級的同學還會獲得UCAS文書的寫作指導，并開始準備暑期實習和社會實踐，豐富自己的申請履歷。對于十二年級的同學們，老師們除了會和大家一同完成后期申請步驟外，還會為大家介紹海外大學生活和文化，讓同學們在出國之后能更好地適應大學生活。
隨著新學期的來，康德師生也迎來了嶄新的篇章。在新的一年，我們將再接再厲，期待大家在新學期中不負春光，收獲滿滿，帶著對成長的期待迎接全新的挑戰(zhàn)！
With the start of the Year of the Tiger and the best wishes for the new semester, students and faculty at SCBS celebrated their first day back in school after Chinese New Year.

the New Semester
With the assistance from our volunteer staff, all of our students came back to the campuses and had their body temperatures measured.
With the raising of the national flag, the SCBS students officially welcomed the new semester. The Executive Principal, Dr. Oliver Kramer, sent his best wishes to the students and he hoped everyone can have a fulfilling semester.
The Lantern Festival is a time to bid farewell to the old and welcome the new. At the beginning of the semester, students and faculty at SCBS had Lantern Festival celebrations. Our students sent out the blessings of the Year of the Tiger to the teachers when they returned to the campus.
The Middle School students also enjoyed the "lantern riddles". During the break, everyone enthusiastically discussed the answers with their friends.
Students who had the correct answer could get a prize, which was chosen from the winning artworks of the Creative Design Competition last semester.
INSET
Training Day
The day before the students returned to school, all teachers at SCBS attended an INSET training. The main topic of the training was teaching strategies. In the new semester, our teachers will continue to implement our school's expectations and encourage our students to "strive for academic excellence".
In our compulsory education sector, the school will continue to promote the implementation of the “ dual alleviation" policy and comprehensively improve the quality of education, such as promoting the efficiency of classroom teaching, homework management, and teaching evaluation.
The SCBS teachers will also focus on the importance of innovation in education and to continuously improve their professionality. They will also cooperate with other teachers to strengthen our teaching team.
SCBS teachers also attach great importance to encouraging our students while teaching. They respect students' individuality, guide students to be positive and develop good habits to create a more harmonious school atmosphere.
Curriculum
College Guidance
From this semester, our High School will upgrade our College Guidance Curriculum to assist our students to be fully prepared for their university applications. The curriculum aims to help our G10 students to decide their university destinations and future majors.
For G11 students, we will also help them work on their UCAS personal statements and let them get ready for participating in internships and social activities in the summer. For G12 students, after they get offers from different universities, they will start their pre-college preparation to better thrive in their overseas home.
Our students and teachers are looking forward with great optimism to the new semester. For the upcoming months, we will continue making more progress! We wish you all a happy and fulfilling semester!
