　　上海美達菲雙語高級中學是經上海市教委批準成立的全日制、全寄宿、開設國際課程的民辦學校。學校有IBDP、 IGCSE＋Alevel（愛德思＋CIE）、AP＋AC三大主流國際課程，是上海市資質最全的國際高中。

　　Shanghai MacDuffie Bilingual High School is a full-time, all-boarding, international curriculum private school approved by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission. The school offers IBDP, IGCSE+Alevel (Edexcel +CIE) and AP+AC three mainstream international courses, making it the most qualified international high school in Shanghai.

International Day

　　以班級為單位，每班選擇一個國家為主題，圍繞該國家的地理、人口、經濟、科技、節(jié)日、飲食及其他風俗和文化進行了探索研究，穿著各國的傳統(tǒng)及特色服飾，通過中英文雙語演講、樂器、表演、舞蹈等獨特的方式，開啟一場多彩而奇妙的文化之旅。國際日活動不僅為上海美達菲學子了解各國文化、開闊國際視野提供良好的平臺，更從各方面鍛煉了演講能力、動手能力、邏輯思維能力、批判性思維能力、時間管理能力以及組內組外的合作能力。

　　Each class chose one country as the theme, and explored the country's geography, population, economy, science and technology, festival, food and other customs and cultures. They wore the traditional costumes, delivered the Chinese and English bilingual speeches, played musical Instruments, gave performances, dances, and they initiated a colorful and wonderful cultural tour. The international Day activities not only provide a good platform for Shanghai MacDuffie students to learn about different cultures and broaden their international vision, but also train their comprehensive skills including public speaking, manual, logical thinking, critical thinking, time management and teamwork within and outside the group.

Fun Sports Meeting

　　趣味運動會的舉辦旨在培養(yǎng)上海美達菲學子的團結合作精神，增強集體榮譽感。本次趣味運動會包含毛毛蟲競速、拔河比賽、趣味接力、踩氣球、撕名牌、擊鼓墊球等眾多項目。同學們遵守比賽秩序，互相理解，互相照顧，表現出了美達菲學子良好的道德修養(yǎng)，通過運動會凝聚了上海美達菲學校的團隊精神，展現了集體力量。

　　The fun sports meeting aims to cultivate the spirit of solidarity and cooperation among Shanghai MacDuffie students and enhance the sense of collective honor. This fun sports meeting included caterpillar racing, tug-of-war competition, fun relay, balloon, tear brand, drum mat and many other projects. The students obeyed the order of the competition, understanded and took care of each other, which showed the good moral cultivation of MacDuffie students. Through the games, the team spirit of Shanghai MacDuffie School is condensed and the collective strength is displayed.

　　上海美達菲的全體同學都積極參與到了這場活動中，依據自己的興趣選擇參賽片段，題材范圍涵蓋廣泛，劇情跌宕起伏，人物張力極強，給了同學們充分發(fā)揮表演的空間。英語配音比賽不僅幫助上海美達菲學子提高了自己的英語能力，感受到了學習英語的樂趣，并且也鍛煉了他們的溝通能力和團隊合作精神。

　　All the students of Shanghai MacDuffie actively participated in this activity, and selected the clips according to their own interests. The themes covered a wide range, the plot was full of ups and downs, and the character tension was very strong, which gave the students the space to give full play to the performance. The English Dubbing Competition not only helped MacDuffie students improve their English ability, feel the fun of learning English, but also exercised their communication skills and team spirit.

　　上海美達菲的體育健兒們團結協作、挑戰(zhàn)自我，在賽場上揮灑汗水、奮力拼搏，展現出了非凡的體育精神和良好的體育風貌，盡情發(fā)揮余熱，享受著屬于他們的賽道。在運動會中，同學們既能強健體魄鍛煉身體，提高身體素質，還可以在團體競賽中體會到團隊的力量和為集體奮戰(zhàn)的榮耀，增強集體榮譽感。

　　The athletes of Shanghai MacDuffie cooperated with each other, challenged themselves, worked hard on the field, showed extraordinary sportsmanship and good sportsmanship, gave full play to their spare heat and enjoyed the track belonging to them. In the games, students can not only build up their bodies, exercise and improve their physical quality, but also experience the strength of the team and the glory of fighting for the collective in the team competition, and thus enhanced the collective sense of honor.

　　為了加強同學們進一步對上海美達菲學校的核心價值觀內涵的深入理解，上海美達菲學校組織同學們來到上海廣慈殘疾兒童福利院傳遞愛心，還幫助福利院打掃院落、除草、種花，用自己的雙手給福利院創(chuàng)造潔凈美好的環(huán)境，讓“集體、尊重、正直”的理念扎根到每一個同學的心中，用力所能及的堅持與陪伴，把公益之路照亮，也溫暖了自己。

　　In order to strengthen the students' further understanding of the core values of Shanghai MacDuffie School, we organized the students to come to Shanghai Guangci Welfare Home for disabled children to pass on the love, and also helped the welfare home to clean the yard, weed, plant flowers, with their own hands to create a clean and beautiful environment for the welfare home. Mountain Day

　　“登山日”是美達菲一年一度的秋季傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日，這一天，學生和老師們組成各個學院，齊心協力完成任務，在登山的過程中開展豐富多彩的活動，在互相幫助中體會集體的價值，用有序競爭把卓越深植于心，在大自然中感受對自然的尊重，把教育拓展到更廣闊的世界，踐行美達菲的核心價值觀，不僅讓全校師生放松了身心，也體會了團結合作、奮進拼搏帶來的成就感，感受了自然與人文景觀的精妙。

　　"Mountain Day" is a traditional annual autumn festival in MacDuffie. On this day, each student and teacher from different Houses work together to complete the task, and enjoy the rich and colorful activities in the process of mountaineering, realize the value of the collective and help each other. As excellence with orderly competition deeply rooted in the heart, they can feel the respect for the nature, and expand education to the wider world. Practicing the core values of MacDuffie not only refreshed the teachers and students, but also empowered the sense of achievement brought by unity and cooperation, and presented the subtlety of natural and cultural landscape.

科技節(jié)

Science Carnival

　　為了培養(yǎng)學生們科學精神，上海美達菲舉辦了第一屆科技節(jié)，通過一系列豐富多彩的活動讓全校師生深入體驗科學的魅力。通過參觀上海科技館與上海大學寶山校區(qū)物理實驗室，激發(fā)了學生對科技的好奇心。同時邀請到了上海大學物理系的田教授為美達菲師生舉辦科普講座，加深了對理論的理解。還在校園里舉辦科學實驗場活動，開展了一場集趣味與知識于一體的科學實驗系列。拓展科技視野，提高創(chuàng)新思維，科學的精神就這樣潛移默化地影響著每一位美達菲人。

　　In order to cultivate students' scientific spirit, Shanghai MacDuffie held the first science carnival. Through a series of colorful activities, teachers and students experienced the charm of science deeply. Students' curiosity about science and technology was stimulated by visiting the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum and the physics laboratory of Baoshan Campus of Shanghai University. At the same time, professor Tian from Physics Department of Shanghai University was invited to hold a science lecture for MacDuffie teachers and students, which deepened their understanding of the theories. Also it included some science experiments and field activities, combining fun with knowledge in a series of scientific experiments. To expand the vision of science and technology, and to improve the innovative thinking, the spirit of science influences every MacDuffie student.

Cultural Week

　　“ 美美與共，達賢芳菲”為主題的上海美達菲文化節(jié)活動共分為英語辯論賽、英文演講、舞臺劇演出、文化論壇、圣誕節(jié)晚會五個單元，各學院選派代表參賽，為各自學院榮譽“出戰(zhàn)”。通過這些豐富多彩的課外活動，讓學生從實踐中學習，探索發(fā)現自身特長，培養(yǎng)學生對集體的關心，提高團隊合作、溝通表達等軟實力，形成堅韌不拔、自信樂觀的品質。

　　The Shanghai MacDuffie Cultural Week is divided into English debate competition, English speech, stage play performance, cultural forum and Christmas party. Each House selected representatives to participate in the festival and "fight" for the honor of their school. Through these colorful extracurricular activities, students can learn from practice, explore and discover their own strengths, cultivate students' concern for the group, improve soft skills such as teamwork, communication and expression, and form the quality of perseverance, self-confidence and optimism.
