　　未來的講臺 　　——第六屆青年教師大獎賽初小賽區(qū)側(cè)記 　　5月22日，周六。一大早，上中園里便熱鬧起來。社會關(guān)注的是自招考試，然而上中年輕的老師們卻有著自己的“熱點”——上海中學(xué)國際部第六屆青年教師大獎賽。 　　甄陶樓三樓是初小學(xué)段的賽場。當(dāng)往日在教室“叱詫風(fēng)云”的老師們，自己成為比賽選手的時候，也會平添幾分沉穩(wěn)和緊張。 　　今天的初賽賽程僅為半天，一如平日里的高效率。8點整，說課比賽和即興英語演講比賽同時拉開序幕。說課選手們需要在40分鐘里根據(jù)指定材料和要求完成備課，遞交一份教案，說課15分鐘，并回答評委們提問。即興英語演講則更是考驗老師們英語功底的項目。選手們需要在20分鐘內(nèi)根據(jù)抽取題目、準(zhǔn)備一個3分鐘的演講，即興、脫稿等要求，讓數(shù)十位參賽的老師們仿佛又一次回到了學(xué)生時代......放眼望去，充滿著青春活力的“選手”們，他們離開大學(xué)校園的最短的不過期年，在上中執(zhí)教年份最長的也不過5、6年，然而他們的教案設(shè)計、講臺風(fēng)范，已令評委刮目相看，流利灑脫的英語口語，讓外教評委也頻頻頷首......無怪乎他們當(dāng)中已經(jīng)有人被學(xué)生們尊為“大神”，視為偶像！ 　　講臺上的英姿還不足以反映選手們的“側(cè)面”風(fēng)采。除了說課和英語演講，大獎賽的另一版塊——“才藝秀”視頻展示，為青年教師們提供了個人特長與愛好的展示平臺。器樂、聲樂、舞蹈、繪畫、書法等是最常見的，小眾的有編程、健美、烹飪、縫紉等，還有幾位集數(shù)項技能于一身的高手，他們的視頻，若是傳上抖音，定然吸粉無數(shù)！ 　　偉人毛澤東曾對青年人說過：“世界是我們的，也是你們的，但歸根結(jié)底是你們的?！蔽蚁雽H部年輕的老師們說：未來的講臺，一定會因為你們而更加精彩！ 　　Educators for the Future 　　——The 6th SHSID Outstanding Young Teachers Contest 　　There was great excitement at the SHS campus on the morning of May 22nd. Teachers of SHSID gathered for a long-awaited event—The 6th SHSID Outstanding Young Teachers Contest. 　　The Middle and Primary School group preliminary round took place at the Zhentao Building. Unlike the usual stances the student would see from their teachers in a regular classroom setting, their teachers transformed into passionate competitors today.  　　The contest started right at 8:00 a.m. All competitors need to finish two events—the Lesson Plan Design and Impromptu English Speech. For the previous event, firstly, participants are given 40 minutes to design a lesson plan based on the specified materials. Then, they need to explain how they will demonstrate the lesson for 15 minutes and respond to the jury’s questions. Impromptu English speaking is an assessment of teachers’ English language skills. Participants have 20 minutes to brainstorm their ideas based on the question given, outline the speech, and finally, deliver a 3-minute speech without notecards. Impressed but not surprised, the judges were very satisfied with participants’ creative lesson plans, professional teaching skills, and fluent English. Among the participants, some were first-year teachers who just left campus and joined SHSID; the others were young, experienced teachers who have gained more confidence and become idols of students over the past few years teaching in SHSID.  　　Apart from evaluating teaching skills, there is also an event for young teachers featuring their talents in a diverse range of areas outside of the teaching spectrum by video clips. We are not only able to immerse ourselves in instrumental music, vocal music, dance, painting, and the calligraphy presented in the videos, but also find out that the teachers took an interest and did a splendid job in coding, bodybuilding, cooking, sewing, etc. There also were several videos by teachers who are masters of multiple skills. If posted on TikTok, these videos would definitely go viral! Chairman Mao Zedong once inspired young people: the world is yours, as well as ours, but in the last analysis, it is yours.
