美國(guó)威力塔斯學(xué)校北京校區(qū)第二屆歷史文化節(jié)隆重舉行，此次歷史節(jié)，以“探索、體驗(yàn)、感悟”為主題，將美育融入生動(dòng)豐富的各項(xiàng)活動(dòng)之中，讓同學(xué)們?cè)诟惺軞v史感受文化的過(guò)程中鑒賞美、表現(xiàn)美、創(chuàng)造美，從而提升人文素養(yǎng)。歷史節(jié)活動(dòng)分四個(gè)部分“海報(bào)展示宣講、歷史影片欣賞、人文活動(dòng)環(huán)節(jié)、頒獎(jiǎng)環(huán)節(jié)”?；顒?dòng)項(xiàng)目精彩紛呈，同學(xué)們積極參與，享受其中，充分展示了他們的動(dòng)手實(shí)踐能力和創(chuàng)新能力！
On November 28, the second Omnibus Festival was held grandly.This Omnibus Festival, with the theme of“exploration, experience and perception”, which has integrated aesthetic education into vivid activities, so that students could appreciate beauty, express beauty and create beauty in the process of experiencing history & culture, so as to improve humanistic quality. The activities of the Omnibus Festival were divided into four parts:Poster display and propaganda, historical film appreciation, cultural activities and the awards ceremony. The activities ?were wonderful, and all the students actively participated in, fully demonstrated their practical ability and innovation ability!
海報(bào)宣講環(huán)節(jié)中，同學(xué)們將精心準(zhǔn)備好的主題海報(bào)進(jìn)行展示，由中外教老師及部分十一年級(jí)同學(xué)組成的裁判團(tuán)進(jìn)行專項(xiàng)打分，同時(shí)向海報(bào)作者提出自己感興趣的問(wèn)題現(xiàn)場(chǎng)解答現(xiàn)場(chǎng)評(píng)分。同學(xué)們或活潑生動(dòng)，或慷慨激昂或細(xì)致嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)?shù)木市v贏得了現(xiàn)場(chǎng)裁判的高度認(rèn)可。隨后的觀影活動(dòng)，同學(xué)們進(jìn)行了分區(qū)分組，感受視頻帶來(lái)的直觀，更容易身臨其境，感悟歷史！
During the poster display and propaganda session, students displayed their posters carefully, while the judging panel (including Chinese &foreign teachers with some students from grade 11) graded the students on site, and at the same time put forward their own questions.During the activity , students have gotten the judging panel’s high recognition with their lively, impassioned and meticulous speeches.In the following movie-watching activities, students were divided into different groups at different palce to feel the intuition brought by the video, which made it easier to experience the scene and comprehend the history!
下午的歷史節(jié)活動(dòng)精彩繼續(xù)，活動(dòng)內(nèi)容如 “智力問(wèn)答機(jī)”、“名人演講”、“感恩節(jié)再創(chuàng)造”、“生活館”、“修辭說(shuō)唱”、“歷史名畫(huà)演繹”等。拓寬了孩子們的視野，激發(fā)了他們思考、參與的熱情。
In the afternoon, the Omnibus Festival continued with the wonderful activities,such as “Trivia” , “Boat Building”, “Famous Speeches”, “Propaganda”,“Thanksgiving Recreation”,“ Virtual Field Trip ”and so on .It has broadened the children's horizon and stimulated their enthusiasm for thinking and participating.
下午隆重的頒獎(jiǎng)典禮作為重頭戲，是同學(xué)們最翹首以待的環(huán)節(jié)，也為一天的主題活動(dòng)劃上圓滿的句號(hào)。外教老師簡(jiǎn)單地總結(jié)了此次歷史節(jié)活動(dòng)中同學(xué)們的優(yōu)秀表現(xiàn)，公布了各個(gè)年級(jí)的獲獎(jiǎng)名單并為同學(xué)們頒發(fā)獎(jiǎng)品，并給予了所有同學(xué)殷切的希望，下一屆歷史文化節(jié)再見(jiàn)！
The grand awards ceremony in the afternoon, as the main event, was the most eagerly awaited part for the students, also marked a successful end to the theme activities.The foreign teachers simply summarized the excellent performance of the students in the Omnibus Festival, then they announced the list of winners of each grade and awarded prizes for the students, gaving all the students the best wishes.Let’s meet the next Omnibus Festival!
每年11月份的第四個(gè)星期四是感恩節(jié)。雖然是西方國(guó)家的傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日，但是和敬老愛(ài)幼等中華傳統(tǒng)美德教育是一致的。心懷感恩、感恩教育是世界上每一個(gè)人都不可或缺的！“感恩教育”又稱之為“愛(ài)的教育”，是一種情感教育，讓我們的孩子常懷一顆感恩之心，繼承和發(fā)揚(yáng)我們中華民族的優(yōu)良傳統(tǒng)，讓愛(ài)充滿整個(gè)世界。
Thanksgiving Day is on the fourth Thursday in November.Although it is a traditional festival in western countries, it is consistent with the education of traditional Chinese virtues such as respecting the old and loving the young.Be grateful and gratitude education is indispensable to every person in the world!“Gratitude education” is also called“l(fā)ove education”, which is a kind of emotional education, and let our children always bear a grateful heart, inherit and carry forward the fine tradition of our Chinese nation. Let love fill the whole world.
在此次感恩節(jié)主題活動(dòng)中，學(xué)校準(zhǔn)備了精致的感恩節(jié)餐食，由中外教老師共同策劃和布置了活動(dòng)現(xiàn)場(chǎng)，讓孩子們了解感恩節(jié)的由來(lái)和意義！我們要感恩父母、感恩老師、感恩同學(xué)、感恩自己，更要感恩這個(gè)偉大的時(shí)代，感恩自己的祖國(guó)！將感恩的種子播撒在心田，將來(lái)用自己的努力和實(shí)際心動(dòng)回報(bào)家庭、回報(bào)社會(huì)、回報(bào)國(guó)家！
In this Thanksgiving Day activity, our school has prepared the exquisite Thanksgiving Meal, that our Chinese and foreign teachers together planed the activity site, which made the children understand the origin and significance of Thanksgiving Day! They should be grateful to their parents, teachers, classmates and themselves,but also be grateful to this great era and our motherland! The seeds of gratitude will be sown in the heart, in the future, our students will repay their families, our society and our country with their efforts and practical actions!
感恩節(jié)的主題活動(dòng)時(shí)間雖然很短，但關(guān)于感恩這個(gè)話題永遠(yuǎn)不會(huì)結(jié)束，希望能通過(guò)每一次活動(dòng)，將感恩的精神傳遞到每一位師生心中！
Although the theme activity of Thanksgiving Day is very short, the topic of gratitude will never end. I wish that the spirit of gratitude will be passed on to every teacher and studentthrough this activity!
