Year 7 Hiking and Camping Trip

　　第二天清晨，大家起得很早。學(xué)生們起床洗漱、收拾行囊、拆卸帳篷一氣呵成。吃完早餐后，常州威雅公學(xué)六年級(jí)學(xué)生乘坐大巴返回登山起始點(diǎn)，興致勃勃地再次出發(fā)。今天的路線穿越山巒和果園，一切美景盡收眼底。盡管前一夜山里下起了雨，但到了清晨，天氣轉(zhuǎn)晴、碧空如洗。這對(duì)學(xué)生們來說比第一天徒步旅行要涼爽。看起來今天的旅行會(huì)非常順利。雖然空氣非常潮濕，但老師們?nèi)砸_保學(xué)生們大量飲水，絕不可掉以輕心。一天下來，學(xué)生們非常完滿地完成了當(dāng)日徒步，大家一行人前往酒店辦理入住。

　　Day two was an early start. The pupils got up, packing their bags and tents and then went for breakfast. Although the weather said rain the night before, the forecast changed in the morning, it was looking like we could safely complete a good hike. Once we had packed the campsite and all pupils had eaten some food, we boarded the bus and drove to the start location for the hike on day two. We set off in good spirits, it was a cooler day than the first day hiking, however it was very humid so it was important that pupils kept drinking lots of water. It was a nice hike over the hills and through the orchards and luckily it didn’t rain at all. The pupils did incredibly well and completed the hike in good time. We then went to the hotel and checked into our rooms.

　　入住酒店簡(jiǎn)短小憩之后，學(xué)生們開始了緊張刺激的活動(dòng)任務(wù)。他們需要通過完成一個(gè)個(gè)小任務(wù)來贏取金錢獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)，這樣在晚些時(shí)候搭建“橋梁”的過程中，學(xué)生們就可以使用這些錢來獲取“建筑物資”。在活動(dòng)的尾聲，我們將測(cè)試他們搭建的“橋梁”的承重力。用過晚飯后，學(xué)生們繼續(xù)進(jìn)行比拼活動(dòng)，一直持續(xù)到了晚間。他們建造出了一些非常優(yōu)秀的“橋梁”作品，令人觀之印象深刻。看到學(xué)生們團(tuán)隊(duì)協(xié)作默契滿滿，并且樂在其中，我們倍感欣慰。

　　After check in, and a little rest, the pupils played a game where they had to complete tasks for money, which they would later spend on resources to build a bridge. It was great to see the pupils working well as a team and enjoying the activities. We then had a dinner before the activity continued in the evening. Some excellent bridges were constructed by the pupils; the bridges were tested at the end of the day to see how much they could hold. Some of the bridged were very impressive.

　　在酒店好好休整一晚后，我們起床吃早飯，并在出發(fā)前辦理好了退房。最后一天的登山地形涉及到很多羊腸小徑，因此，這條路線對(duì)學(xué)生們來說充滿了挑戰(zhàn)。登山途中，山間淅淅瀝瀝地下起了小雨，但好在學(xué)生們?cè)缇蜏?zhǔn)備好了雨披。我們順利地在午飯前走完了規(guī)劃的徒步路線，并在餐廳快速地享用了一頓午飯，于下午啟程返回學(xué)校。

　　After a good nights sleep in the hotel, we woke up, had breakfast and checked out of the hotel, before departing for the final days hike. It was a challenging stretch of terrain through narrow paths over the hills. It also rained a little on the hike but the pupils were well prepared with rain coats. After this hike finished, we had a quick restaurant lunch before departing for school in the afternoon.

　　總體來說，在本次旅程期間，學(xué)生們表現(xiàn)得超乎想象的優(yōu)秀。能在一個(gè)截然不同的、充滿挑戰(zhàn)的環(huán)境里見證到了許多學(xué)生的勇氣、決心和韌性，我們感到非常開心。我希望學(xué)生們可以從這次經(jīng)歷中習(xí)得寶貴的經(jīng)驗(yàn)。感謝所有教職員工悉心的付出，確保了此次旅程順利、完滿。也感謝學(xué)生們一路以來的積極向上和努力堅(jiān)持，這所有的一切都將化為我們快樂且難忘的共同回憶。

　　Overall, the pupils did incredibly well and it was fantastic to see the courage, determination and resilience of many pupils, in a different, challenging environment. I hope that they learnt valuable lessons from the experience. My thanks go out to all the staff who gave their time to ensure this trip was a success, and to all the pupils for their positivity and hard work, which made it such an enjoyable trip.
