　　近日，廣州為明學校國際部7名學生在2021 SSI Speech Meet這一國際性演講比賽中斬獲佳績！在此次比賽中，充分展示了我們?yōu)槊鲗W子自信陽光，積極進取的風采。

　　2021 SSI Speech Meet，全稱為2021 Southlands School International Speech Meet。

　　這一活動為中美項目合作學?！绹魉固m學校所舉辦的校際演講比賽，面向美國校區(qū)及全球范圍內(nèi)的海外校區(qū)。中國各校區(qū)經(jīng)海選選出決賽參賽者，與世界各地的同齡人切磋交流。

　　此次比賽以鍛煉公眾演講技能為契機，重在引導學生放眼世界，關(guān)注社會動態(tài)。

2021 SSI Speech Meet

Mission:

　　1. To provide the students with the benefits of speech which extend far beyond competition.

　　2. To build confidence, spur,encourage collaboration,improve communication,and increase critical thinking skills to prepare students for the workplace.

　　3. To provide a valuable opportunity for English Language Learners to not only develop their oral language skills but also further develop their reading,vocabulary, listening,comprehension, and memorization skills. This offers them a unique opportunity to master their presentations with practice and feedback from their teachers/coaches and classmates.

Objectives:

　　1.Encourage effective speech in an audience

　　2.Help students develop techniques to speak audibly, articulately, expressively, and with poise and confidence

　　3.Encourage students to use their speaking abilities to communicate their thoughts, ideas, and knowledge to others.

關(guān)于中美索斯蘭項目

　　國際部中美索斯蘭項目高中課程引自美國南加州最優(yōu)秀的私立學校之一——美國索斯蘭國際學校。該校擁有國際基督教學校協(xié)會(ACSI)認證和西部院校聯(lián)盟(WASC)認證，畢業(yè)生SAT平均成績超出全美20%~25%。課程貫穿G7~G12。
