　　11月24-25日，是校歷上的教師培訓(xùn)日，每學(xué)期元耕山語湖雙語國際學(xué)校老師們會(huì)集中兩天進(jìn)行專業(yè)能力提升和職業(yè)發(fā)展，也就是PD day（Professional Development day）。 　　24th and 25th November were the professional development training days for our teachers. Throughout the year all our teachers are engaged in professional development to enhance student learning.

小學(xué)部Primary

IB-PYP課程設(shè)計(jì)和探究 　　Curriculum planner and inquiry 　　IB-PYP(小學(xué))項(xiàng)目的目的之一是為3-12歲年齡階段的學(xué)生創(chuàng)建具有趣味性、相關(guān)性、挑戰(zhàn)性和跨學(xué)科的探究課程。因此，我們非常重視教學(xué)法和教學(xué)課程。這兩天在協(xié)調(diào)員Ms.hailani的專業(yè)引領(lǐng)下，我們圍繞“如何更有效地開展教學(xué)”。 　　One of the goals of the IB-PYP programme is to build an interesting, relevant, challenging transdisciplinary programme of inquiry. With the professional guidance of our coordinator Ms. Shailani, we had professional development training on the Enhanced PYP centering on “how to develop teaching more effectively”.

中學(xué)部Secondary

DP認(rèn)識論CAT3培訓(xùn) 　　DP TOK (Theory of Knowledge) training 　　作為IB老師，為什么要參加“認(rèn)識論”培訓(xùn)？ 　　認(rèn)識論是DP的核心課程，是一門培養(yǎng)審辨式思維及對知識進(jìn)行探索過程，所有的DP學(xué)生都必須學(xué)習(xí)和完成的科目。認(rèn)識論具有串起所有學(xué)科知識及目標(biāo)的功能。 　　The theory of knowledge (TOK) course is a core component of the IB-DP that fosters critical thinking and exploration of knowledge. This workshop was run by an IB workshop leader Ms. Fenia Rizoponlou and provides IB certification for our teachers.  The workshop developed strategies for all subject teachers to use within their lessons to link TOK to their subject. 　　我們請來了非常專業(yè)的IB培訓(xùn)師Ms.Fenia Rizoponlou給中學(xué)部的老師進(jìn)行了DP知識論的培訓(xùn)。她有著多年的認(rèn)識論的教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)，曾擔(dān)任過DP、MYP協(xié)調(diào)員，IBEN的核實(shí)員。她也是IB認(rèn)證的教育專家，為各IB學(xué)校提供關(guān)于知識論的專業(yè)培訓(xùn)。 　　Ms. Fenia Rizoponlou has many years of TOK teaching experience and has worked as a DP coordinator and an MYP coordinator. Our CBIS students will showcase their talents at events within school and at external venues in Foshan. These events provide the opportunity for our students to challenge themselves and grow holistically whilst celebrating winter festivals.
